“loved the Pistachio cake from Luigi’s in Carmel so much that I ordered one for my mother’s 96th birthday. I was in Florida and couldn’t partake but my sister picked it up in Carmel and my mom, sister and family were able to enjoy it. There were 7 people at dinner and due to the size and height of the cake, you can see they barely made a dent (however it was completely gone within 2 days). Everyone was absolutely crazy about it and everyone sent me pictures and called to thank me. It’s a shame to even call it a cake because you naturally think of something you buy in a bakery. This is a whole different world. This cake is exquisite. The flavor is outstanding, it is extremely moist, it has a ton of filling and frosting but not that sickeningly sweet kind – this is all top notch ingredients and completely unique. I felt awful because I know I didn’t give Luigi’s much notice and I know his wife worked 14 hours the previous day baking. But I didn’t feel so guilty that it stopped me from ordering it and they were so gracious about helping me. As you can see in the pictures, the attention to detail, the edible flowers, the beauty of the cake made it a birthday present in and of itself. I just cannot thank Luigi and his awesome wife enough for helping to make my mom’s 96th birthday special.”

“What a treasure! Sightseeing over the weekend and stumbled upon this gem. Luckily we arrived around 5:30. We were the only ones there - for about 5 minutes. Within 30 minutes the place was packed! The menu had a lot to offer and it all looked delicious. We had the calamari to start and it was fresh and tender. For our main, I had the veal fungi and I was so happy to see lots of fresh mushrooms! My spouse had the spicy hot scallops and he said they were amazing. Our waiter was very attentive even though the place was completely full. It was fun to see so many of the locals meeting up with their friends. The hostess recognized we weren’t locals and gave us some great ideas for places to visit while in the area. Either show up early or get a reservation. You won’t be sorry.”

“We stopped by on our way from Patterson, NY. This is a place you have to check out—it's a mom-and-pop shop with the delicious aroma of fresh comfort food as soon as you walk in.
Got a grilled cheese sandwich and a roll with melted Vermont ham and mustard. It was fresh delicious and totally worth of calories, GC sandwiches was cooked to perfection. The size of the portion and price very reasonable.
Definitely will stop by again!

“Lots of flavors. Blueberry pistachio in a cone- flavor and ice cream texture was exactly how it should be. Cone was crispy.

Grabbed some pre made ice cream sandwiches. Crispy fresh cookies were too sweet for me. Vanilla had a clean vanilla taste. Chocolate was deep. Strawberry could've use more of that sweet tart Strawberry flavor. Mint was heck a minty- not a complaint...lol...

Tight indoor space. No indoor seating. Decent parking. Nice large grassy outdoor area.”

The lady at the counter was very friendly and when I asked for seafood dishes next time, she suggested Shrimp with Broccoli.

I got the Scallops and Shrimp over Garlic Sauce and it was quite delicious!

“Had the honor and pleasure of meeting Anthony and his partner last week at the local Mahopac Farmers market and a true gentleman! Tried the signature blend and instantly hooked! Brought it home threw it through my French press and gave it time to steep. Pressed it and sat it for a few minutes and out of this world. Deep rich flavor, amazing aroma with a nutty bold taste! Going back tomorrow as i have to send some out to a friend! Home run Anthony!!!!”

All of the baristas are incredibly pleasant and are great at recommending drinks and customizing them to your liking. The menu has a great variety and you can always a get a copycat of your favorite “chain store” drink (and a better one at that!)While I’m a die-hard coffee girl (iced caramel or mocha latte for me!), what has really sold me at Reverie is their food. I love the variations on classic breakfast items like waffles with delectable toppings, and “hummus toast” as opposed to the traditional avocado. I love their Mushroom Avocado Toast, Everything Chixpea Toast, and the classic Peanut Butter Banana + Honey Toast. The menu is a bit confusing, with so many different boards, papers, and posters contributing to the total menu.

“This is the cleanest, tastiest, friendliest, deli in Carmel. We go there roughly every 2 weeks and we always make a point of stopping at Carmel Bagel. A little gem that most people miss is their pineapple cream cheese spread. Omg I'm in heaven every time I get it. Don't deny till you try it lol

“These guys make a specialty pizza they call a “San Gennaro” pie. It’s really good. But my mom likes the square-ish “Grandma’s” pies.

They were happy to make me a San Gennaro pizza, Grandma’s style, and let me tell you, it cranks. This pizza is so good. And it’s even the end of the feast of San Gennaro this week, so double sweet.”

“Lets start with a Delicious Smooth Coffee, Old Fashion Breakfast, Best Bacon and Eggs to Classic Eggs Benedict and Real Irish Breakfast. Lunch and Dinner Best Soups, Philly Cheese Steak, Burgers and Hotdog's. My Favorite is Cuban Panini. Friday nights Slow BBQ Ribs that comes with homemade French fries and real cornbread to die for. I always put my order in on Thursday. This Restaurant reminds me of many great places we use to have in Westchester. Very Clean, great cook and True Gem.”
