“When we first walked in, no hostess, no signage to seat yourself or wait. We decided to sit outside. Waited for about 5 minutes. No one came. Husband went to bar and got two beers and brought out. Waited 12 more minutes for waitress to bring menus. Jalapeno poppers were very good. Food came out quickly. Had 8 oz angus sirloin -was very good, cooked as ordered. Asparagus was good - could have used some seasoning. Whiskey Hill Burger was good. Waitress was very pleasant. Even though it was a slow start, it was a good meal. Will most likely return in the future.“

“My daughter stayed in Fredonia after going to college there, and as a downstate NY person I have never been to a place as welcoming as Downtown Brew. Janet is very knowledgeable on the beer front, and despite my infrequent trips up knows what is in my wheelhouse when I come up to visit my daughter. Highly recommend.“

“You kinda gotta have a certain taste for music and atmosphere. However, it has the nicest staff and most welcoming regulars. The food is just genuinely good and the drinks are not skimpy by any definition. Rather be here than most bars in WNY.“

“anytime you want to go to a comfortable bar with no BS the Fillmore where it's at. Have a jukebox you can play some good music. And also they have a pool table and darts. On top of all of this the bartenders are always amazing. And I also know the owner personally a very great place to be really nice people always a good place to sit back on a Friday night and let loose. As a Buffalo, New York native, I don’t throw around compliments on wings lightly, but their Four Corners Sauce wings genuinely rank among the best I’ve ever had. And that’s saying a lot! Brandi (with an “i”) and Ginger, the wonderful owners, have created a space that’s both adorable and incredibly welcoming. Brandi herself served us, and she couldn’t have been more personable or hospitable. “There is only two gift shops and the rest are pubs and restaurants, but it sure is beautiful! And the shops are very cute. One of them has Dunkirk souvenirs, and the other had homemade stuff like soap, and sailboats made out of drift wood. It was a beach themed shop. It was all very cute!
