“This place is really worth it for the money you pay. Nowhere in NY will you find a Kosher Burger for less than $12. Over here you can have 2 for that price! they are a little smaller than regular burgers and that is why I went for 2. I even decided to splurge and get plant based cheddar cheese on one burger and it was pretty awesome. I didn’t like that they don’t have sauces to choose from. Only the basic ketchup and Mayo. But for this price it’s even worth it to get the double burger and it’s only $9! Overall if you haven’t been here I would definitely recommend you try it out and you’ll be surprised how little you spend on quality kosher food. Looking forward to coming back soon.“

While waiting for my food I was helped to a delicious beer on tap. I had the PB burger which I’ve never had before and it was an excellent balance of savory and sweet. My kids love the chicken fingers from there but they always end up taking a bite of one of my burgers. Big helpings of fries which are balanced perfectly with salt. I would’ve added some pictures but my hands never had a free moment that wasn’t filled with food to grab my phone.“
“This was the first time I had been to Rippers in eight years and it is still as good as it was in 2015. The burgers are so flavorful and juicy and came with a special sauce with cheese, lettuce and tomato. It tasted so good. The Fries were topped with salt, pepper and spices. They really have a great flavor and really don't need ketchup. The one thing is that they give you a very generous portion and are perfect for sharing. The view of the shore is amazing and it is nice to hear the waves crashing while you are eating. It puts you in the mood and you can just relax.“

“I made a huge order because i was ordering for my office. The gentleman who helped me over the phone for my pick up order was very patient. I had three different orders with special instructions and all separate payments. Yes, i knew it was a lot. He kept his professionalism and grace. As soon as i was greeted by a nice lady at the register when i told her my name my order was close by being prepared. The service was fast and friendly. The gentleman who helped me over the phone let me know we were waiting for my fries and he prepared a lemonade which went with the upgrade for one of my orders. While waiting for the fries we shared a nice small talk about the great service and he let me know getting the lemonade was a better deal than the can soda because the lemonade was 20 ounces and the van was 12 ounces. The staff was great! Now to the food. I tipped in the jar because it’s a great experience. It only got better when he helped me to my car. He placed the food neatly in my car. I started with my appetizer the mini crab cakes. You get five for $10.95. They were seasoned nicely to taste and perfectly baked outside batter. May have been imitation crab meat but hey they were good! The macaroni salad that came with my pastrami Mac melt wasn’t the best. They used rigatoni noodles instead of elbow and it was dry. The Mayo was at the bottom of the cup. I doctored that up and it was okay. But boyyyyy did the pastrami Mac melt melt my taste buds! Wow is all i can say! Temperature wise the food was hot and fresh. The taste of the pastrami was so delicious and savory it went perfectly with the type of bread that was used. The Mac was cheesy and also seasoned (i noticed the pepper) went so well with the meat! It's not the best cheese slice but it hit the spot. It had a great thin crust but still held up together easily. It was light on the tomato sauce, which I actually wish there was more, but a good amount of melty cheese with a pretty good cheese pull. The crust was also nicely done. Three of us had their burgers and thought they were top notch. The burger is only average size but it was very juicy. The fourth person had the "Gallagher's Harbor Special". It was a cold cut sandwich with roasted beef that I do not recommend, as the sandwich was very dry.They have a decent menu of beers, wine, and cocktails as well, which we indulged in. The place is compact, they have old license plates from different states on the walls, it's a lil rustic. The menu has burgers and chicken named for all the states from Maine to California. Both were overall very good with fresh, high quality ingredients and an excellent brioche style roll. The main problem we had was the burgers were a bit too greasy and excessively juicy which kept us from giving a 5 star rating.. It was difficult eating these burgers without making a mess and the fatty juices were flowing out like a fountain. Easily the best smash burger I’ve ever had.While burgers are obviously their specialty I saw wings on the menu and after tasting the quality of the burger I had to order some wings. Tossed in the buffaque sauce the wings were crispy but still tender. Had to order a churro for good measure. The 2 guys working the truck, Lucas and Sam told me about their physical location in Baldwin which I’ll now have to make a trip too.
