“Margie’s is an excellent restaurant on the ground floor of the Rockaway Hotel. It’s very nostalgic to locals as it was built where the Rockaway staple known as Gallagher, Snug Harbor and Daltons once stood before the beautiful hotel was built. Margie’s serves up some great food including an excellent variety of prime steak cuts. Their cocktails are excellent and one must taste their staple Irish Coffee which is fantastic. Margie’s and the entire Rockaway Hotel have always been an amazing experience.“

“My friends and I had a lovely afternoon at The Rockaway Hotel Pool house. We were greeted by a warm and friendly hostess, Isabella, who made us feel so welcomed. Our beautiful table was in the perfect spot to take in all of what the Rockaway Hotel has to offer. The outside bar and Pool house are exquisite. The pool was bustling with excitement. Our waiter, Andrew, was polite and helpful . I highly recommend coming to The Rockaway Hotel because their staff is highly professional and attentive.“

“Nice place, music was good but it was noted to be warm considering it is a roof-top lounge but it was cold and made my stay a little short. The cocktail drinks tasted more like cocktails, very little alcohol. I had 2 drinks and not even a buzz. Otherwise nice place for a hangout.“

“I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“Excellent eatery on Atlantic Avenue. The owner is super friendly and very courteous. We are offered a free amuse-bouche starter of whipped ricotta on pita and it was fabulous. We got a few dishes of just tapas and a delicious salad. Will absolutely be my new go to restaurant. There was even live music that was another fabulous touch.“

It's decidedly not a craft cocktail spot, though it definitely would be amazing if it were. It's a hotel bar. It's a hotel bar with hotel bar prices. But what a hotel. What a hotel!

“I love to travel, and Revel restaurant in Garden City, NY, is truly one of the best restaurants I have been to. The managerial staff were very friendly and accommodating, the food was excellent, and the service was impeccable. Melissa, our server, explained everything so well, and she took her time with us. The wait staff worked with her seamlessly so that everything came out on time, and our water glasses were always full. The cuisine offered so many different choices, even for vegetarians and vegans. The vegetarian dishes I tried were a myriad of flavors, and it was so nice to experience new creations that I have never had at any other restaurant. Revel’s decor and lighting made us feel like we were somewhere very special but also comfortable. If I lived near this restaurant, I would visit frequently. We loved our experience.“

“Went to Rincon Criollo for my son's birthday. I've been there before for a large birthday party. Please take into account the large party was about 40 people and the service was very good. I enjoyed this time more because it was only a table of 5 and the service was even better. The croquettes were excellent and the Vaca Frita with maduros was also excellent. Oh, I forgot...the Mojito was sooooo good. Muddled lime and mint for sure. And of course, we embarrassed our adult son with a very festive birthday celebration with the staff...bingo and thank you! “Went in for breakfast. Our server was decent. Walked away as I was finishing telling him my order, which came out ICE COLD & WRONG!!!! I requested a ham, COOKED/SAUTÉED ONION & American cheese omelet, fries and RYE toast with crispy bacon. My omelet was well done, the onions RAW, fries were ice cold my bacon was not cooked and not there had to tell the runner, and my toast was marble. All this for OVER &50.00!!! The server came by, we were basically finished. Asked how everything was. How would he or the runner know our order. Neither one looked at the order. NEVER AGAIN!!!“

We were in town helping another G-FORCE location with an Amazon project, so naturally, we took a break to explore the local food scene. First Impressions: We kicked off with the Deviled Eggs – the jalapeño added a nice little kick while the bacon... well, it was bacon – crispy and delicious. Next up were the House Pickles – sweet, vinegary, and unexpectedly tasty. Who knew pickles could be this good? The Mains: Harry went with the Pulled Pork – packed with flavor, moist, and paired with an excellent sauce. The Potato Salad stood out with just the right-sized chunks, and the Cornbread? Perfectly crispy on the outside. Steve opted for the BBQ Chicken – tender and juicy, coated with that same outstanding house sauce. And the Kielbasa? This place might not be Polish, but they nailed it – full of flavor and definitely a surprise hit! The Potato Salad reminded us of Grandma’s homemade classic, and the Collards had a unique twist that, honestly, we didn’t hate. The rest of the table didn’t hold back either – from the Burger to the Mac and Cheese and, of course, more Pulled Pork, it was all a hit! “From the time you walk in and get greeted by Leonard, to the outstanding service given by Anthony, and the welcoming environment given by two other gentleman (I wish I knew their names, but one wears cool glasses and a gentleman with dreads) the experience is beyond five stars. We appreciate it every time we go there. The food is DELICIOSO!!!!!. I truly enjoyed the sampler and the refreshing fruit punch drink 🍹 The salmon is also Amazing. And I forgot about the truffle fries OMG YUM!!!! I definitely recommend coming here if you are looking to go to eat great food and receive Amazing service.“
