“I stopped by here on a whim and in search for some coffee and the customer service was superb in the short time I was in there! I was immediately greeted. The attendee accidentally messed up my order but she gave me a discount for the error and some mini cupcakes on the house! I ordered the plátano maduro muffin and was super impressed! Really yummy! “Maria’s Sans Rival cake lives up to the meaning of its name, undoubtedly unrivaled. It was made of sheets of chewy meringue loaded with crunchy cashew nuts, alternating with thick layers of “melt-in-your mouth” buttercream. Glad it was not too sweet that I was able to enjoy large servings of this delightful dessert. Great with coffee or tea.“

“I stumbled across this bakery after having a birthday dinner at Mas Tortilla a few blocks away. It was a great find.

I ordered a cappuccino, 2 Grand Opening cupcakes, and a box of macarons for my bf and I to share and it was all sooo good.

The cupcakes had a passionfruit icing/paste that I could tell was made with real passionfruit on the inside and the cake was the perfect texture and moisture level. As good as the cupcakes were though, the real star of the show was the macarons. They were out of this world. We tried one of every flavor and I was not let down. My favorites were the fruity pebbles and the earl grey.

“We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! We even asked for an extra birthday cupcake for our nephew to have on the day of the wedding, and they made it sooo cute! (wish I could figure out how to add a picture here... It was SO pretty!!!)“

“I ordered a specialty cake for my mother and it was FABULOUS! The cake was unique, 2 - tier choc and vanilla with a hazelnut cream filling. It was covered in a lovely lavender frosting with lace flowers and unique lettering. It was fresh and special!“

“I really like the service here, the people and most especially the amazing iced coffee they serve! However, most of the other food is mediocre at best. But it works. I’m quite surprised no one has really written about some of the baked items, except that we’re probably all relieved to have some semblance of a bakery within walking distance. However, at times the food served is slightly stale, having been refrigerated for too many days. I was served a dry, stale piece of flan that was refrigerated for too long on a tray, instead of in its caramelized sugar liquid in a container, like it’s supposed to be. The cakes are over-dyed, dry and usually too sweet, or lacking in flavor completely. I’m not sure if anything is actually fresh-baked on site. But for a walking-distance Argentine bakery that speaks our “language,” I feel we tend to make lots of allowances in this neighborhood.“

“Sweet (no pun intended) little bakery in Kew Gardens. The shop is not big and the selection is not huge but what they have is very good. I took home two Guava Puffs which were very good. The Crust was sweet and grumbly and it was bursting with Guava. I also took home something I had never tried or seen elsewhere. It's called French Nut. This one was filled with Apricot. Mom and I split it and it was enough to fill us up due to its richness. It was ?. The prices are very reasonable. The lady working there was very helpful and pleasant.“

“I have been looking for a Soft Serve Ice Cream spot near me for years, finally one has opened, Thank God! They were very nice and accomadating. They give huge portions which is awesome. The place was clean and organized. Everyone was polite and did not skimp on the brownies on my Sundae, again they have awesome portions. This will be my go to soft serve ice cream.“

“They have a very generous portion of what we ordered of eggs and potatoes. Sometimes the place is packed. The area is quite small. Take out is better. And if it's not peak hours, dining in is okay too. Peak hours, don't expect to get a seat. Bagels and coffee are good.

Vegetarian options: They have a good selection for bagels and they serve toast and eggs and some vegetables.

Parking: Not a lot but people come and go and there's a good chance to get a spot.“

It looks so beautiful and has three layers of different flavors. Each layer has indescribable surprises. The first layer - matcha and strawberry, the freshness of the strawberries brings out the aroma of matcha; the second layer- black sesame coconut jelly, the mellowness of coconut jelly brings out the richness of black sesame; the third layer is mango fresh cream, the smooth cream brings out the sweetness of mango flavor. The cake itself tasted so soft and fresh. All of our guest praised it and felt satisfied. We finished the whole cake within 10 minutes. We will recommend it to all our friends.“

“If you want to eat where the locals eat, this is the place to go!! It is a small hole in the wall place but smack on Main Street, very conveniently located. Service is quick, the price decent, food authentic. We went there for their authentic breakfast sets. I loved their condensed milk toast and eggs that comes with coffee or tea. I would definitely recommend this place for authentic Chinese food. They also have freshly baked desserts and bubble tea. The downside is that it is cash only and has very limited seating which makes it very crowded during peak times.“

“There's parking, it's clean, and there's a lot of bread, so I go often. I especially like the sandwiches because they are delicious. Today I bought a pretzel with pretty toppings and it was really delicious. The people working there are also very friendly. My daughter said she wants to go again next time because her sister at work is pretty.The location of the bakery is good and the parking lot is good. Sandwiches are especially delicious, and the kids love donuts.“
