“Rocco’s is our go to for pizza or Italian food. Tonight I ordered on the slice app and chose the wrong pie not realizing until it was delivered. I called and they explained the online menu to me, even though it was my error they then delivered the pie I intended to order. “My husband and I, alongside our 2 toddler daughters, had lunch here for the first time today. This place was recommended to us by our neighbor. I am not one to write reviews, but I feel so strongly to share my experience here. I am from Jersey, but have been living in Long Island for the last 7 years..and I will say, this place has by FAR the best italian food I've had since living here. The service was very exceptional as well. He was kind, courteous and attentive. Everything we ordered was delicious. My husband ordered Chicken Piccata and I ordered Chicken Parm with Penne Vodka on the side.. the sauces were AMAZING. I am super picky when it comes to vodka and tomato sauces (which is why I ordered those to be my first entrees) and I was very happy with my meal. We also ordered Zucchini strips, and they were cooked to perfection. Not sloppy or oily, just perfect! My soda wasnt flat either, which I always appreciate lol sometimes the taps in pizzerias taste like literal syrup.. but not here.. Lastly, we loved the casual and low key enviroment, especially having 2 very active toddlers (2 and 3 years old). Its charming, and very clean. Its difficult for us to go out to eat sometimes and not feel like we are bothering other customers who are also trying to enjoy their meal. Thankfully today, 1 daughter was asleep, and the other was distracted with youtube LOL, but normally, they are loud and active and want to run around. I felt very comfortable dining in here.

I think the waitress was new , I had to ask twice for a water n twice ordered soda only got one the waitress didn't come back , busy chatting with another customer. ate 1/2 my meal without the 2nd soda. waitress didn't remember mi ordered it . my tip reflected her service.“

“Been a regular of the pizzeria for about a decade. So very excited that they opened a trattoria next door. Food is exactly the same as the pizza side bc they share the kitchen and most of the menu but with a classy atmosphere and table service. “The owners are great. Very pleasant to deal with. I've been going there since they bought it about 22 yrs ago. Their dinners are very good, you can't go wrong with the penne ala vodka and a side of sausage. Love the antipasti, garlic knots are to die for. The neopolitan and Sicilian pies are great. Love the sauce they make for the dinners and pies. The only complaint I have is that they go light on the pizza toppings. I'd like to see more sausage, pepperoni, etc on the pies, not a few slices sprinkled about. Now I'm thinking about pizza. Maybe tonight.“
