“I moved out here from Queens and believe me. I worked in all 5 Boro's. I know great Italian cuisine. From "Carmine's" on the upper west side to "King Umberto's" of Fongoul square (Elmont). Since I tasted Pizza Time this place has been my "go to". The pizza is great! The superbowl buffalo wings were out of control! If you have not had the Veal Cutlet Parmesan on a garlic bread Hero!? Then you don't know what you are missing!!! Not only "delish" but the Veal is so tender it melts in your mouth. “This is the perfect place to stop and grab a slice. Great pies. Local spot. Lots of variety. Super fast, super cheap. Amazing quality. I will say I throughly enjoyed the chicken buffalo but it was super mild. I was hoping for a kick. The pepperoni was amazing. I could have eaten 3 more slices. I'm gonna hit this place at least two more times while I'm here working to try the others. Bbq, veggie, garlic knots.. all looked amazing and the perfection on this crust and sauce leads me to believe they likely are. It's a self seating, get your own drink, and don't hold up the line kind of place. I can see how lunch with kids would be tough. Can't wait to try another slice!“

“I have ordered a large pie delivery twice now... the man who took my order tonight was SUPER sweet. Order was delivered within about 30 minutes, pie was perfectly cooked and hot upon arrival. “Not good not bad. I got a large pizza with half mushroom, garlic knots and mozzarella sticks. Overall the pizza was ok. The cheese side was better than the mushrooms. It almost tasted like they just threw a handful of them on a cheese pie and cooked it for a few more minutes. The knots and sticks were average. The knots were the grab and rip off type. The sticks were average frozen and friend.“

This allowed us time to chat and look at the menu, but if we were pressed for time or starving, it might have been an issue. Food was great! Spinach, strawberry, and feta salad and spinach salad with bacon and mushroom both were tasty and not overdressed. Grandma slice had lots of saucy tomatoes and peppers. I didn't specify crispy, but I did wish it were crispier. Fried calamari appetizer was served with a generous bowl of delicious marinara. A few of the pieces had a hard bit. “Ugh hate my fat fingers, should be 4 stars. Today was our first visit. We celebrate Palm Sunday with our married kids and grandkids. Very nice decor, all staff super friendly and attentive. Apps came out hot and well cooked. A large menu selection and everyone was pleased. Kids portions plentiful. The adult portions as well came out hot and food was fresh. Will be coming back in May for uncle birthday. Daughter in law and her friend order pizza from here often. Definitely worth a try. “Im really thinking more 3.5, but I'll be generous today. First...Yaphank, who knew! Don't know much about this area even though I've lived in Holbrook/Ronkonkoma for some of my life. When my friend came in from Florida she asked to meet here being it wasn't far from where her family lived. I had no idea how built up the area was. And a brewery on top of that, whoa! Southpaw has a really nice space with that industrial feel. You know how breweries be. Minimalistic but with huge focal points like big casks or barrels of beer. Here, what I first noticed was the big pizza oven. Yes they offer a wide selection of pizza and even offer a gluten free crust. More on that later though. Their menu is great and features everything from small plates like the charcuterie stuffed pretzel or deep fried duck wontons to sandwiches, of course pizza and full fledge entrees like meatloaf and "Grandma's Lasagna". We opted for 2 pizzas given my friend has a gluten intolerance, and they offered that gluten free crust. Both the burrata and pulled pork pizza were amazing even though they couldn't be more different. The crust itself was good but I'm also excited to try their regular one when/if I get back here. The service was good, and I really felt it for our server as she was slammed with quite a few tables including a huge one. She was apologetic but she had no reason too because she did great. And this is a brewery so let's finally talk drinks. I started out with their Blueberry Gin Sour. It was listed on one of the menus but not on one at our table. Come to think about it, there were different menus all over the place so it was a tad confusing. But I got my Blueberry Gin Sour and to my dismay, I did not like it. It tasted very earthy, which could have been the bitters. I've never had bitters taste like that. I followed it with one of their beers. I want to say it was the Hazy or Mandala IPA. I ask for something on the citrusy side and our server nailed it. It really was a nice night and a great place for us to go to with my friend being back in town. One of the managers asked if he can buy us a round if we moved over to the bar so we can free up the table for a group. We were on our way out anyways so we just went on our way.“
“First time at this establishment. Had the shrimp po boy sandwich, Cole slaw, fresh corn. Everything tasted great, including the toasted roll and greens inside the sandwich. The sauce had a little kick but just enough and the shrimp, was plump and yummy. We will be lifelong patrons.“
