“Very good food just make sure you check your subs before you leave if you haven't eaten here in some time enjoyed the Jim's blu sub with chicken topped with barbecue sauce with lettuce and tomato & onion too I think & the one sub that you need to look at very closely is the Jim's famous steak and cheese hoagie sub my mom literally thought the sub didn't have any lettuce or tomato with onions on it from a picture I took after I got home. It's behind a lot of meat had to call back a second time & they were understanding when I told them everything after I looked further into the sub I would go back again after today. Just some tips for anyone else who is a regular customer have a good day eating Jim's & the first picture shows the lettuce and tomato with onions on the famous sub the second picture of the same sub you can't see the rest of the inside of the sub only the meat in until you really open it up more & the third picture is how the Jim's blu sub is they put quite a bit of barbecue sauce on it so it's a little mushy but was very good too just some tips for anyone else who is a regular customer have a good day eating Jim's lot of food & had a third sub that someone else got“

“Best place in the city. Came from Toronto was shocked how good it was. Best part. It was halal. Jeanelle is awesome. She made the experience great. Food was off the hook. So much meat in each serving. Will definitely go back. Will make it a must on every visit to Buffalo. Go Bills.“

“In town for hockey tournament at river works, ordered on a thursday night right before close as we got into town late and they were one of the only spots open. Sacrilege to order 30 min or less before close and yet when I arrived at 1150pm on a 0 degree night, the gentleman behind the counter greeted us and handed us our food, I apologized for the last minute order and thanked him for taking it. He was genuinely nice and thanked us for the order. I don't want to tell the owner how to run their business. I grew up in it and understand completely how it sounds, but bartending and serving most of my life to not have a tip option, it is just an option. I wouldnt be here without the generosity my dad's customers paid me so I would love to see this added. The food was amazing so much so we ordered again today and this time I brought extra cash to tip for the other night and today, and thanked the gentleman again for his service the other night. I lived in philly for 2 years tried all the best spots, Jim's is right up there with them if not better quality. I apologize I don't have pictures of the food, its because it was devoured by the time we got back to the hotel at lecom, we'll done Jim and most importantly the crew that makes it all go, we will definitely be back!“

“Probably the best Jim's location. It's seats at the corner of Elmwood and Allen. Great food! I had the steak hoagie 8inch about $12..overflowing with meat. Worth every penny! Good atmosphere to seat and view the outside..Very clean ..bathrooms can be entered only with a lock code...Get your subs here!“

“Nothing fancy but definitely delicious, it's a bit pricier than I'd hope with some options but overall it's not super expensive, far less so than ETS across the street and in my opinion far better in general. Staff have always been nice and helpful if needed, Food is well above fast food quality and while definitely not healthy food it's extremely delicious. It's also nice that hours go as late as they do. I wish there were more options for those with gluten related allergies and vegetarians but definitely well worth going to if those things don't affect you.
