“For real?? I find the best burger in the Hudson Valley at a rinky dink pub in a bowling alley?? Their food is LEGIT. Yum!!! Gluten free too if requested and a decent portion of GF! I got a gluten free burger with bacon and I could have left out the bacon and ate the thing plain, what a delight! The server was friendly and very quick, especially with the numerous questions I had regarding every item on the menu. There was something my husband wanted to order and they told him they were out, the waitress recommended something else and he was thrilled at the outcome. Excellent service that is! We would definitely come back time and time again.“
“The pizza was delicious and their wings are delicious!!! Very friendly staff and fast service. The pricing was surprisingly fair. A large pizza and an order of wings filled up our family of 4. The pizza wasn't heavy on the tummy so we didn't feel guilty afterwards haha.“
“Very nice atmosphere and food. Had a pumpkin martini to start, very nice. We ordered the brussel sprout salad which is a seasonal appetizer. The funny thing was they were out of sprouts. The mgmt was very apologetic and even reduced the price for the two salads. Was a great taste, was looking forward to how they fixed the sprouts. The Wheelhouse chicken was very flavorful and moist. The pumpkin soup was quite good as well...got to love pumpkin season though, which we do!! Check it out when you are in the area!!“
“We had the Best Burger tonight at Christophers's!! If you are craving a REALLY Good Burger I'd choose this place for sure and let's not forget the Fantastic fries!! We've been going there since it first opened and it never disappoints!! Great, Friendly staff too!“
“Before i start been here before prepandemic, loved their shepard's pie, which am glad to see that they still have. This is a taphouse, so they have lots of local beers, and a beer from vermont actually too!Went here on Thursday March 21 2024 to grab a bite to eat before seeing a show at The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center which is nearby. Before we left our house,we did call the restaurant to see if there was a wait, they said there wasn't one, however, by the time we got there, they asked us to wait 20-25 minutes. We went to the bar and was able to eat there. Bartender was very nice, as we all started with waters and titos with sprite. We started with the Irish Nachos special, which were interesting as they had corned beef in their nachos. they were not bad and different. For our entrees, my dad ordered a cheeseburger cooked m, i ordered a veggie burger, and i forget what my mom order. Entrees were very good and enjoyable. i enjoyed my veggie burger! only feedback i would provide is that the server/bartender should have made sure i wanted fries with that, because i saw sweet potato fries, and may have wanted that instead. Other than that we had great service at the bar, and enjoyed our food. We also ordered dessert, a brownie with chocolate ice cream on top! That was tasty! paid our bill with a credit card, and left a cash tip. Also used the restrooms this visit, and the front restroom was not flushing, but they had a bathroom upstairs which was very clean, and all was working. Hope to be back another time!“
“Love this farm! The restaurant on site is amazing. The food is farm to table so the menu changes seasonally and always tastes fresh. We would normally go for brunch (their bacon is mouth watering,) but we recently went for dinner, finally, and it is even better than their brunch. We had the octopus starter and it was perfectly cooked. They also have brick oven pizza which is a hit with us locals for a quick takeout dinner. The restaurant is on the smaller side so I would recommend making a reservation in advance, but the staff is warm and welcoming and it's a place we will continue to frequent for years. Cannot recommend it enough.“
“Surf and Turf is egg over bits of steak and shrimp over a bowl of spicy rice…very good if you like spice. Brussel sprouts are outstanding. The jerk chicken is served with a bowl of spicy rice. A coconut mojito is excellent with lots of fresh mint mixed in. Service is very good in this small venue. No doubt they will grow in size, hopefully the menu will grow as well.Parking: The restaurant is located on a corner lot plaza.“
“Very neat place with awesome atmosphere. Solid craft beer list (unfortunately missed my tastes but still a good list). Bartender was super friendly and fun.We unfortunately only got wings here and they were not good. They were dry, small, and the dry rub only hit one side. So that side was overpoweringly flavored and the other was just dry chicken.Their menu looks awesome and some of the other food we saw coming out looked really good. But the wings were decidedly not good.Hope to come back another day and try some other food and switch to 5 stars.“
“Delicious farm to table restaurant. Recommend making reservations especially on the weekend. I called on a Saturday right when they opened at 4pm and was able to secure a reservation at 7pm, which required a credit card on file and $35pp cancellation fee. The Grange is an intimate dining room with about six tables, adorned with beautiful art, dimly lit, and very cozy and welcoming. On Saturdays, they have a pre-fixe menu of $65pp which includes an appetizer, entree, dessert and choice of coffee, tea, or espresso. They have a small wine and beer selection, but no cocktails. We started with a Kentucky fried duck tenderloin appetizer and the lunar new year nachos. The fried duck was fried in a thick batter and served on creamy polenta and blue cheese. The lunar new year tacos was heavy on the rice, it would have been better with a bit more tuna. For entrees, I ordered the La Belle Farm Duck Breast, cooked medium, and my husband ordered the HVCC Sliced NY Strip Steak, medium rare. My husband's steak was so delicious and nicely cooked. I thought my duck breast was a little too rare for me, but the dish itself was very good. For dessert, I had the flourless chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which I really liked. Our server was nice enough to add a candle for my birthday, which was a nice little surprise. My husband had an apple crisp dessert with vanilla ice cream, which he also enjoyed. We also each had our own little pot of tea which was the perfect ending to our meal. Service here was very friendly and smooth. Lovely ambiance and great food. Perfect for a date night.“
“Their service and atmosphere is unique to the Monroe & Hudson Valley NY area as you don’t get the personalized attention anywhere else. I see a lot of posts asking where the best French Onion Soup, and/or wings are in Monroe and the surrounding areas, I tried them all - Bourbon has the best!!“
“Recently started going there. Seems like a pretty nice place. Didn't sense any attitudes there. Owner and staff very nice! Haven't eaten there yet, but I've seen the great deals, and the food smells great. $5 pitchers of Coors! (12 year's later UPDATE.....Just started coming back here after at least 5 year's. Still a nice place. Haven't witnessed any violence. Owner and staff still very nice! It's been a while since I've eaten their food, but I hear it's just as good as it was before. $3.50 pints of Bud. No more $5 pitchers. Karaoke and DJ Thursday nights. If you hang with fun people, you'll have fun here.)“
“Murphys has always been a reliable good place to eat and grab drinks, but recently, they updated their menu, and so far, everything I've tried has been really good to great! The Italian Wedding Soup was really great, and mozzarella sticks were light and crispy.I tried 3 kinds of tacos (steak, beef, pulled pork)- all very good, even held up for take out/eating at home.Personal pizza thin crust, always very good. Appetizer sampler was a great way to try a few things at once!I'm both happy and upset that they have several new desserts, too! I wish they had a sampler for that (!) Better for me, they don't!I got the peanut butter chocolate torte(?) And it was light enough to finish! Uh oh!!! Hahaha! The servers I had were very friendly and accommodating. They feel 'happy to be there', which, as a former hospitality professional, I appreciate seeing, and as a Medium, I appreciate feeling! They make you comfortable and offer great suggestions. (And they didn't know I'm a Google Local Guide either!)The owner is always friendly and hands-on as well too.I am very glad for their beautiful renovations and extension, to be able to sit outside in nice weather, easy parking, and fair prices. This restaurant/bar is definitely an asset to our community. And with the new menu, I'll definitely be going more and bringing more friends!Peace, abundance, and continued success for 2024, and always!“
“We’ve been here a couple of times now and not only is the service great but we love the creative menu. There’s not a lot of fun, creative menus in the area and this is one we love to try. They regularly change things up to keep the menu fresh and the food is outrageous“
“We truly enjoy this place. It’s a definite GEM. The owner is great, and the place is so full of nostalgia. We literally have never been disappointed. Their menu is great and the weekend specials always leave us happy. Their waitress is amazing too. 5 stars and more!!“
“Owners were extremely accommodating for our private event. They helped out with every step of the way and the staff was great. Food was delicious; we had penne vodka and Chicken picatta. Drinks were served perfectly. Plenty of games on the TVs at the bars. Would highly recommend them for an event, or just a meal/drink at the bar.“
“i just made a quick stop by as i’m on my way to an event and wow what a lucky stop! i got the crispy tofu sandwich with fries and it was so so good!! quality food and ingredients you can tell, the breading was super crispy and seasoned, the chipotle sauce was amazing and on a really good brioche, i’ll definitely come back next time i’m in the area!“
“Always like coming here. A bit out of the way but good coffee, food, and atmosphere. Only issue were the sandwiches (ordered 4 different options) all were VERY HEAVILY toasted in butter. Way too much and leaves it very greasy. Coffee was nice and hot and all the staff were super friendly and helpful.“
“Quaint little place off the Main Street in downtown Warwick. Highly recommend making reservations because it is a small space with not that many tables. Everything is homemade, so it takes a little longer to get your order, but is well worth the wait. Coffee was amazing! I got Fannie’s signature latte which was full of interesting flavors. Went there for breakfast and everything tasted great. The one thing I will tell you is to ask for the price of the specials before you order. I ordered a special that included pork loin (which was the previous night’s dinner special) eggs, hash browns and an apple salad and it was $33. It was good, but not $33 good. My fault for not checking the price, but I never imagined a breakfast dish costing that much. I will still go back next time I’m in Warwick, but I’ll be sure to ask for the prices before I order a special again.“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Stagecoach Inn and was thoroughly impressed! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing evening out for my wife birthday. The food was exceptional, with each dish expertly prepared and presented. The service was also top-notch, with friendly and attentive servers who made sure every need was met. Overall, I highly recommend Stagecoach Inn for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience. 5 stars without a doubt!“
“A group of us from Long Island visited Warwick & had lunch at Yesterdays this week. We loved the atmosphere of the new space, and enjoyed looking at all of the fun retro decor. Very clever use of beer kegs inside and outside the new building. The food was fresh and delicious, we had mozzarella sticks, Irish nachos, fried chicken and salads, the dressing on my grilled chicken Caesar salad was probably the best I’ve ever had. Overall an excellent experience. Thank you Peggy & John!Kid-friendliness: Family friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp to get into the restaurant from the parking lot“
“Indulging in the mac 'n' cheese at this establishment is nothing short of a gastronomic delight. From the moment you enter, the inviting aroma of cheesy goodness sets the stage for an exceptional experience. The diverse menu offers a myriad of creative twists on this classic comfort dish, leaving you spoiled for choice. The macaroni is perfectly cooked, providing the ideal canvas for the rich, velvety cheese sauce that coats each pasta strand with perfection. The incorporation of premium cheeses lends an exquisite depth of flavor that lingers on the palate. Portion sizes are generous, ensuring you savor every delicious moment of your meal. The ambiance complements the culinary journey, striking a balance between cozy and contemporary. Attentive and knowledgeable staff members add a touch of warmth to the overall dining experience, making you feel right at home. Whether you're a seasoned mac 'n' cheese aficionado or a first-timer, this place is guaranteed to exceed your expectations. In conclusion, this mac 'n' cheese haven deserves every bit of its five-star rating. The dedication to quality ingredients, culinary creativity, and exceptional service make it a standout destination for those seeking the epitome of mac 'n' cheese perfection!“
“Great food well prepared. Basically a breakfast and lunch menu but good choices. Service was pleasant and fairly quick but due to the care taken the food can take a while to get to you. A smallish storefront place right in downtown Warwick. RecommendParking: As is usual in Warwick, parking can be hard to find in a convenient place as it is often busy, especially at weekends“
“Their menu isn't particularly large, but their offerings vary from wings and a top tier burger to fancier options like Coq au vin, as well as some daily specials. And they certainput their all into them. The dessert menu is pretty fancy, and everyone was thrilled with what they ordered. The place itself is definitely a piece of history. The ceiling of our dining area was made of old doors. It was a neat conversation point for us. The wait staff was really professional and pleasant as well. It was a nice experience. I'd go back again.“
“Best breakfast in Orange County hands down. Pancakes and breakfast sandwiches are out of this world. Lunch is amazing too! Always a variety of snacks and drinks. Service is speedy, and always served with a smile! Family owned GWL must-have. Cash only and not much seating, unless outdoor (warmer weather) but you can always call in!“
“Good food, service and lively dining room. Our server handled the 12 of us with a smile!! My Shrimp Florentine was deliciously seasoned, penne cooked perfectly and the shrimp was plentiful and cooked perfectly!! The Buffalo Cauliflower special appetizer was spicy HOT! The only negative comment I have is the use of paper napkins, plastic spoons for dessert and individual containers for dressings and cheese seems more fast food like instead of finer dining with higher price points!! It was a good celebration for a dear friend!!“
“Visiting from out of town for the Spartan race on Mt. Vernon and stopped in. Had the Scallop and Tagliatelle Prima Vera and my buddy had the Chicken Parm, both dishes were excellent and portions were great. Would definitely come back if in the area again.“
“Parking: Great spot bring family! Stopped in today with family, announced it was our first time ,, where staff and owner began to deliver amazing service and options!!! Had a great time will be back, nice parting gift as we walked out owner whipped up 2 small vanilla shakes that were an amazing unexpected treat!!! Great job guys see you soon!“
“I always make my boyfriend wake up to get us bacon egg and cheese's on Fridays when i'm over because they are that delicious. I haven't actually stopped into the restaurant but I always call and they are so lovely on the phone.“
“Halligans is my neighborhood place. AloneFor lunch, with a gang for the game, it is like dropping by a friends. The food is good. I like the beef tips salad, artichoke, great hamburgers..if you are hungry. GoKid-friendliness: Lots of families. Great place to take the kidsWheelchair accessibility: The whole place is one floor and there is a side access door.“
“Good Ole country place atmosp. I've eaten here at least five times in past year. If you're going on a Friday and want the prime rib You have to Reserve The rib At least a day in advance So they know how many to cook. Very good. Perfectly COOKED. The chicken sandwich was stellar. French onion soup was great! Appetizers- trifecto bland; onion rings-big n crispy, good ; BUT my once favorite potato skins were tiny, shriveled, and dry w a bit of cheddar on top.Oh, be careful of the floor in front of the ladies room, it's sunken in.“
“It's a very nice little place in the middle of nowhere. It's between small towns. The food is good the service is very friendly the atmosphere is okay. I haven't tried dinner there but I've had breakfast and lunch. I was happy every time. It can get a little loud if it's crowded.“
“What an amazing find after a day at Legoland. Unpretentious, sincere hospitality and solid food cook with passion. The owners/management were most welcoming even though we were just walk-ins in casual clothing. Our servers Jose and Yovardy were always on point, genuinely warm and attentive. Thank you for having us.“
“I had John as my server the last time I went. He is THE BEST server EVER! all of the food came in a fast and timely manner, and he brought bread and butter out nonstop. I left feeling like I went to an all you can eat buffet off of the rolls alone. I highly recommend that you request John as your server. I went on Saturday as soon as they opened so it wasn't very busy but boy we felt special.Kid-friendliness: Family friendly restaurant. Great for kids birthdays.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible.“
“Many many years ago I grew up in Goshen, NY. This was the Steak & Brew in 1975. Now all these years later, I'm back in Goshen going to my old stomping grounds. How could you not stop in to Delancey Street. The Historical Hamiltonian Racetrack track, oldest in America! The amazing Trotters Museum such a tribute so many beautiful horses trainers, what history. Playing the piano & singing with all our friends from Goshen High School, 1975, 1976. The memories that were made at Delancey's before it WAS are still there...Were going home for a reunion this summer to be grateful and enjoy the place where we grew up, it was a blessing to have this as our hometown and a place that still here with us today with such great food, great fun, right on the track! Delancey Restaurant, WE LOVE U? Come home to Goshen or visit for the first time but make sure you stop in Delancey HAVE A DRINK, ENJOY A BEAUTIFUL MEAL, OR THEIR AWARD-WINNING WING'S. Sport's Bar, Event's parties. It's all there for you ???????? ???“
“This was our first experience at this diner. We were there very early. The staff was great! The food delicious and my kids made a special request of their dad to tip heavy. I have great kids who like to show their appreciation for a great experience.“
“My first time this week there, it was a Monday night and they had trivia ( fun try it !) went with another couple that recommended it we had a great time! Good drinks, good food, service was great?Ps I was there today as well! Twice in a week!“
“In these times of economic vigilance, a visit to Galloway Grill in Warwick, NY, is akin to a well-considered market strategy. As a Wall Street banker, keenly aware of the volatile economic landscape, every dining choice is a reflection of careful fiscal planning.Galloway Grill is conveniently located and offers a bustling yet welcoming environment. The crowd is a mix of older patrons and families, reflecting a diverse demographic. However, a word of caution for fellow diners: be mindful of the speed traps in the village. The local law enforcement is vigilant, and going over 30 mph could lead to an unwanted financial setback – a scenario all too familiar in my line of work.Service at Galloway Grill is efficient and no-nonsense, much like a well-oiled financial machine. However, there's a slight hiccup when it comes to the children's harmless fascination with jelly packets. In an era where every small expense is scrutinized, this seems a trifle, yet it's emblematic of the broader economic prudence we must all exercise. The menu offerings, like stable financial instruments, are reliable and satisfying. The pancakes, French toast, and particularly the omelets, provide a comforting return on investment, both in terms of taste and fulfillment. The price point, around $70-80 for a family of four, is a significant consideration in these times of economic uncertainty. While the quality is undeniable, the cost is a reminder of the current need for careful budgeting and financial foresight.Galloway Grill occupies a unique position, slightly more upscale than a diner but not quite a high-end restaurant. Its place in the culinary market is somewhat analogous to a mid-cap stock – not without its risks, but offering a potentially rewarding experience. In conclusion, while I recommend Galloway Grill for its quality, do so with an eye on both your wallet and the speedometer. The current economic climate, much like the vigilant speed enforcement in the area, requires constant awareness and prudent decision-making. It's a solid 4-star experience, with the potential for 5, should the economic and local traffic conditions become more favorable.“
“Food & service was amazing as usual, right across the tasting rooms from brotherhood is a good way to hang out for a drink if your waiting to do the tour that's a every hour or in reality to get a grab a bite to eat before or after your tasting, place shares the parking with the winery so there's plenty of spaces, they offer a good selection of bites and & for drinks they carry all types/kinds of spirits so the fan whip up any cocktail you desire.Service was great as well not only by the bartender but also the waitresses and waiters! Recommend this place without a doubt!“
“My daughter and I went around lunch time, but we still wanted breakfast. I had french toast, bacon, sausage and eggs. My daughter had pancakes, bacon and grits with cheese. The food was very good, not one complaint. I will definitely be back to try different food choices.“
“a cozy spot in a very big traffic Main Street for sure. The service was great, the waitress was very up on selling the menu and making sure if needed anything, even when group came in after me, I was still being helped. So for food, the salsa was fresh and delicious, definitely that loving hand homemade, the chips themselves were alright. So for the pollo a la diabla, the chicken could been bit more tender, for portion though got plenty of it, and thick cuts as well. The spicy sauce, I liked it in said doses, since it tasted more tangy than spicy and smoky at times. I think shrimp version of these would held up better. For the rice, I felt it was really under seasoned, but otherwise cooked great. For beans, very good and love cheese on top to add bit salty.“
“I saw this place often as my bus passed it on its route. I thought it was just a catering spot... 'til I saw the "open" sign on. I am happy I saw the "sign" because I knew I could order a small meal. We had the Honey Bourbon BBQ Ribs, Garlic Parmesan Wings, Honey Fried Brussel Sprouts, Honey Butter Cornbread, Macaroni & Cheese, Brisket, BBQ Seasoned Fries and the Apple Cole Slaw.... Baaaaaby!Everything was delicious...the ribs were of great size and cooked to perfection and the sauce delectable. The chicken wings were seasoned just right and they had real parmesan flakes of cheese not that shredded kind. The Brussel Sprouts had a little char to them and the combination of Honey and Parmesan Cheese was something I never had before but will definitely be something I'll have again. The Mac & Cheese had a different flare that I surely tasted can't quite put my finger on the flavor of seasonings but I enjoyed it. Danielle was so pleasant and upbeat as well as her assistant/best friend and they made us feel comfortable. My 13 year old daughter who is a finicky eater was happy with her Brisket over Mac & Cheese and side of Seasoned Fries and the portion was of an amount that when she tells me she's hungry I can say you have leftovers. The icing on the cake was the Honey Buttered Cornbread what is there not to like about Honey, Butter & Cornbread all in one. The apple Cole Slaw was an acquired taste I wasn't expecting. It was more like a salad that did not need any salad dressing. It was different and I like different. All in all this place is a hidden gem in plain sight. If you are ever thinking about getting some BBQ give this place a try, I promise you, you won't be disappointed. I'm definitely going back there are a few more things I'd like to try. Thank you Danielle for bringing good EATS close to home.“
“Whether Casual or Formal, the atmosphere and the attention paid by the servers is exceptional. Takes me back to a time when attention was paid to ingredients and service. The food was at a very high level and everything to go along with the meal was flawless. I can't find anything negative to say about the experience or the food. I will be returning often.“
