“Best chicken cutlet in the area. Left a note for an order specification that they were not seeing (that I was not aware about). I left a lower than usual review because it was happening more than once as I am a regular customer. Immediately they were on it. The next time I placed an order I received a phone call from the owner herself to make sure they knew what went wrong and how they could fix it. This business truly values their customers and really go the extra mile. Great food and great people make for a great experience! Highly recommend to all in the bayside area!“

“We have been going to eat at this restaurant for 14 years, the place where he took me to meet my father, may he rest in peace and in his memory we still go, it hurts to go without Don Esteban Zapata, the owners are very good people, they loved my father very much, the staff is very good. Excellent attention and service ?.“

“Small and cozy, this little Washington Heights gem has home style Salvadoran dishes, beginning with pupusas (corn cakes stuffed with meat, beans, cheese, etc) topped with savory coleslaw. The chicken soup was just right on a cold winter night. Fried plantain, both ripe, sweet, and the starchy, salty green types, were on point. Rice and beans complete the meal.“

“Trekked over to this spot in Queens as I’ve been craving some papusas lately. The place has a chill vibe - art and maps of El Salvador on the walls with soccer playing on the tele. So far so good, and when you see papusas with loroco, a Central American herb commonly added to papusas as one of the options I knew I was in the right place. I ordered three - loroco, chipilin, and chicharron. All were delicious - a little char on the outside, full of hot melted cheese and awesome with a bit of their green chile sauce to provide some kick. Delicious, and great value - just what I was looking for.“

“The best. This place has amazing pupusas. The rice pupusas are really delicious. If you've never been to El Salvador, one bite of their pupusas, and you're there. It is best to call ahead and place your order. They make everything fresh so you may wait a while but it's worth it.“

“The place is very clean, the attention of the waiters is excellent, we have gone to eat there several times, one of those times my daughter ordered chicken with slices and she didn't like it, I thought she was the one with the problem, we came back and I ordered chicken with slices And if I saw that she was right, the chicken with slice was nothing to see, the chicken doesn't feel fresh and on top of that paying $30 didn't seem fair to me, I will return to the place just for the pupusas because they are a delight,“

Really enjoyed the salad (cabbage) that helped balance the oiliness and saltiness of the flavors. We came with only $20 in our pockets. Total came out to be $16.10.Would recommend if youre in the area.“

“Great place. Second time here, but this time, my food wasn't that good. The fish sopa didn't smell like fish it smelled like eggy. But strong eggy bone broth smell and taste. I'm a fish and sea food fanatic and had many fish soups non had taste or smelled like that. Pupusas were ok. Lady who attended us was so nice and attentive. Cameron cocktail was okay. Bland for me. She let me choose something else without charge or fuzz that I appreciate.“

“Honestly, the food is not the best. However, the tiny staff is very friendly and attentive, as us Richie himself. He has a nice display of music memorabilias. It is a very comfortable neighborhood cafe. It is also very convenient, be next to the 169th F train subway station.“

“They have typical Salvadorian selections there and the food is fresh and very delicious. I bought three pupusas, casamiento, tamal de lote, and a chicken leg. And I'm going back soon and highly recommend it.Parking: You have to look for parking in the street but you shouldn't have a problem. I went on a Sunday and found parking right in front of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is street level so you should have no trouble getting in with a wheelchair.“

“Ordered via uber eats. Food came as estimated. Ordered guacamole and got pico de gallo. Food tastes good. Good portions. Pupusas mixtas ate delicious. Horchata has great flavor. Nachos come with pico de gallo and cheese sauce and a side of refried beans. Uber eats has no description or photo. Will definitely order again and recommend.“
