“Had dinner at Jackson’s with a friend last night. Service was great, friendly, attentive but not annoying. Really comfortable vibe. We had the Thursday special, sandwich with two sides. We couldn’t decide on what to get so we split the blackened chicken and the blackened tuna. We both got Mac and cheese (get it). I got a salad and was super pleased that I was able to pick which one, not just a standard house/Caesar choice. My friend got the soups of the day that was loaded potato. She said it was awesome. I started with my half of tuna. It was fantastic! Cooked perfectly. Spicy slaw (not super spicy, just pleasantly flavorful). It was soooo good. It was also sooooo big. My half of a sandwich was enough for dinner. Going to have the chicken for lunch. In summation, great food, awesome service, fantastic vibe. Bonus, each night has a cool theme or special. Looking forward to trying trivia night on Wednesday!“

“I was greeted by the most pleasant, professional young lady named Ayanna. She immediately brought us to the table of our choice and then inform us that she would also be our server. She did not leave until she informed us of menu options that she thought we might be interested in and asked us if there was anything that we needed right away. When I told her to give us a little bit of time, she pleasantly agreed and did hesitate to frequently check on us to see if she could meet our needs. I ordered a cocktail for myself and a drink for my son, who accompanied me, and we placed our dinner order. Our food was served promptly and it was hot and delicious. Throughout dinner, she checked on us frequently to ensure we had everything that we needed. She also made pleasant conversation which I greatly appreciated as this was my first time at an Applebee’s location. She has gained you a customer for life. The food and the atmosphere was wonderful, but Ayanna definitely may be experience worthwhile.“

“Visited NoCo for the first time Sunday. A great dining experience. We go out for dinner quite often and this is one of the BEST! Very professional staff. Annise the manager is definitely an asset to this restaurant. We had the watermelon salad and the fig salad. We had prime pork chops for dinner. Gelato and pecan pie for dessert. Everything was ABSOLUTELY delicious. Will definitely revisit and probably become a regular!!!!!“

“We did our wedding luau celebration Sept 13. From booking with Holly to the end of the night everything was perfect. Holly explained all our options and answered all our questions. The price was right the food superb, Anthony bartended for us and he was great. No one, and there was 50 of us, waited for a drink. He set water out and helped us hang decorations. Holly was also there the whole time and I'm sorry I didn't get the 2nd servers name, but everyone was fantastic. Lily's, that's your dream team. “I’m a breakfast snob and I can say without question that Torkel’s Galley is first rate! The breakfast was one of the best that I have ever had. Cooked to perfection, the eggs, potatoes and bacon will be a memorable meal for a long time. The decor brought back fond memories of the old days of Halesite I only wish I lived closer to Halesite to frequent the Galley more often. I should note that I knew Torkel Knutson and his siblings back when I grew up on Huntington Harbor in the 50s and 60s. It was great to see him doing so well.“

Checked on us several times. Had no problem making recommendations. Chef Michael came by several times as well. Was very friendly.We started out with Mussels in a lobster sauce with chunks of lobster. It was delicious! We then had the honey crab legs. They were so tasty. The crab was so meaty. There is no way you will leave this restaurant hungry. Portions are fantastic! We ended the night with cheesecake. It was the perfect ending to our meal. We will definitely be back to try more stuff on the menu!“

“It's a basic diner. Breakfast food was acceptable but nothing to write home about. The waitress was quite busy and never brought a condiment I requested and we had to flag her down for the check despite being finished eating for a good amount of time. They recently renovated and the interior has no diner charm, it's just fairly generic but clean looking.“

“Last Wednesday I was at Davis vision works and we walk to the restaurant for lunch whem we get the we were standing up for almost 15 minutes waiting for someone to give us a table. finally whem someone come to us and without asking if we need a table rigth away he say is was 15 mint wait, me while the restaurant wasn't even packed it was a lot of table empty and even like that he was going to make us to wait more. really bad service and rude attention. we have money to pay it wasn't like we were asking for a free table. people are really racist at this place.
