“I was invited here for a dinner by our Boss who is also an Honourable member of this club. This is place is truly beautiful. Nice water-view! Inside of the place is even more beautiful! Nicely decorated and very Private place! The food was delicious! I’ve tried their fried Calamari and crab cake. One of the best appetizers I’ve ever had! Their Grilled Salmon for the entrées is out of the world! Highly recommended place for dinner! If you know someone who’s the member of this club, try this place out! You won’t regret!“

However, Jasmine - our waitron on 12/08 around 1:25 pm made the visit exceptional.

I must also mention that Supervisor Penny was superb as well.

We hung out for about 20/30 minutes when someone finally came over and said they would be with us when they had a chance. Seemed a little understaffed but I’ve heard good things about the food. “We celebrated our anniversary at Bijou in Melville last weekend & it was our first time dining there. I was impressed that they have the kitchen behind a glass wall so that you can see just how clean they keep it! Our waitress was excellent, gave us some great suggestions & was all around a very attentive server. We started with drinks. I had the Lychee Martini & he had a drink called The Beckoning Cat. I LOVED the Martini & he said his drink was good but not his favorite. It was a Sunday night so we each only had 1 drink. Next we had an appetizer. We got the Fried Chicken Bao Buns. I was a little disappointed that it came with 3.... since that made it hard to split between the 2 of us... but I ended up having 2 and he had 1 because he could see how much I enjoyed the first one. They are DELICIOUS - the buns were pillow soft and the chicken was cooked perfectly crunchy, and they also had pickled onion & carrot on them. Next I had the the Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice & the Blue Fin Toro roll. The crispy rice has Spicy Tuna, avocado, jalapeno, tobiko, wasabi cream & sweet soy (recommended by our server) which was delicious & just enough to fill me up along with the sushi roll. The Blue Fin Toro Roll has mango, cucumber, tobiko, wasabi mayo, chutoro, scallion, yuzu miso & tempura crunch - MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS!! This was the BEST Sushi Roll I have ever eaten in my entire life!! He had the Marinated Wagyu Skirt Steak, which comes with shisho chimichurri & soy demi glace, and a side of Loaded Roast Potatoes. I forgot to take a picture... whoops! I tasted both & they were also delicious! The steak was cooked perfectly and we both enjoyed the marinade quite a bit. The potatoes were also very good, though nothing to go crazy for. Finally, our waitress asked if we wanted to order desert but we were both too full, so we decided to pass even though there were a few I did want to try. Then she came out with a fresh berry tart with a sparkler as an anniversary surprise!! Well, I had just enough room for that & it was also delicious!! All in all, a great experience and we will be returning in the future, for sure!!“

“We've passed George White Restaurant so many times and finally stopped there to dine. What a great surprise. We both loved the decor; it reminded us of Saratoga NY. We were warmly greeted, and the service was outstanding. The cocktail was spot on, and the mussels were great with the warm bread. We devoured our Filet of Sole Francese and Rigatoni Bolognese. Very fairly priced as well, yes, we will return.“

Staff needs to learn how to work with customers although its nit intended they come off as incredibly rude. Wont be coming back again.“

“My wife and I enjoyed a delightful lunch at Meehan’s of Huntington. We opted to sit in their charming courtyard, a cozy alleyway nestled between buildings. The ambiance was truly special, with artistic drawings adorning the walls and a serene water fountain adding to the tranquil atmosphere. For our meal, my wife chose the Chipotle Burger, which she found to be flavorful. I went for the Old School Burger with Swiss cheese, and it did not disappoint. The burger was juicy, well-seasoned, and the Swiss cheese added a nice touch. Overall, our experience at Meehan’s was wonderful. The combination of delicious food and the unique, picturesque courtyard made for a memorable lunch outing. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal in a lovely setting. We came during the day for lunch, but the courtyard has lights hanging above that I’m sure look beautiful at night.

“So I actually did not eat here but the staff is super awesome. My car was having issues at the gas station next door and I needed to pry out my gas tank and the hostess and manager assisted me by giving me a fork and knife to get it open.
