While their product can't compete with what you'd find in Rome, it is legitimately gelato and not ice cream masquerading as such - texture is dense and a little chewy, with very intense flavor. Pistachio and coffee were the winning flavors on our recent visit. Well worth a stop if you are in the area!“

I had the mango spice (can’t remember the name) and it was delicious. Bough a homemade coconut ice popsicle for the wife and she loved. Daughter had the Oreo icy and loved it too. My little one tried to stay traditional with a chocolate ice cream cone but even that tasted like authentic Mexican hot chocolate!“

“Apparently, we went in the wrong door and stood at the wrong side of the line, the two girls working ignored us, another couple walked in the "right" door and cut us on line. We waited for realistically 5 to 8 minutes scratching our heads as another girl came out of the back and while the one girl struggled in vein to scoop the ice cream the other two girls talked amongst themselves about love, work and managers being bossy, we quietly snuck out the "wrong door" and headed down the road to the next ice cream establishment. Too bad that people today people feel that just because they showed up thats good enough. I do not blame Haagen dazs because most places we go there are children being left unsupervised and refusing to do their jobs. If you can find the help its usually bad. Thanks we'll try again soon.“

“Exactly what you want a Carvel to be. The soft-serve ice cream is delicious in a way that the other ice cream stores and trucks can’t/don’t match. And somehow this particular Carvel seems to make extra creamy soft-serve, even though I know that’s unlikely since I assume they’re following a standard recipe. Service is always friendly and helpful, and they have buy one get one free Sundaes on Wednesday!“

“Nothing special about this Carvel. It is your regular old ice cream store. Lots of flavors and toppings available as well as flying saucers, ice cream cakes and more. Staff was nice during my visit, note there is nowhere to sit inside or outside besides one table and a bench, so it is mostly a to go place. Clean, and affordable. 3/5

“The ice cream is good but the manager was rude. I went in with 5 people and I was paying on my own and when they ask whose next it was my turn . When I got to the counter she stated I was with the other woman. I explained I am paying my own so I would be next. She said I had to wait til they were done as I was part of that group . So needless to say by the time I received my order I had to take it to go as my friends were done with their ice cream . The young woman who helped me was very nice but the manager/owner needs lessons in customer service.“
