“This place is busy for a reason. First time visit for dinner. We ordered sushi and sashimi pieces. The raw fish and seafood was top notch. Beautiful presentation and priced relatively well. The Jalapeño yellow fin app was amazing; we ordered a second one!

Downsides were, the waitress seemed to not know the drink menu well. I asked for the sparkling sake and she questioned it several times until finally saying we dont have it. We also waited for a long time for a meal to come out.

I would still visit again despite these setbacks.“

“This is one of our favorite local restaurants.my songs loves the ramen which is always hot, delicious and great portions. My husband and I are huge fans of the poke bowls. “Whenever I’m in Hamburg, NY I make a point of trying to have my lunch at Ichiban. It is so delicious and reasonably priced and the wait staff are very friendly. I was just there yesterday September 16, 2025 for lunch and it was wonderful. I informed the waitress that I had an appointment and she made sure I received my food promptly. So many great things to choose from, but I love sashimi!!!!! so I always seem to pick that very nice variety on the luncheon menu.“

“the AYCE feels too good to be true, probably among the most reasonably priced in the area. 30 bucks seems like a lot but you get your money’s worth within only a couple orders. when i did it for the first time i tried all sorts of nigiri i’d never been able to afford to try bc usually its $1-$2 per piece alone and it was seriously one of the best experiences i had eating sushi! i recommend it for anybody who wants to try something new but doesnt want to spend money on something they may not end up liking. and they aren’t very meticulous about leftovers, my friend had a few rolls left and wasn’t charged extra. the vibes of the restaurant are really good too and they use up the space they have nicely, with good music too. the one lady server is also extremely friendly and really goes out of her way to interact with the people she serves and does her job with pure care and enthusiasm. the special rolls are also fire, especially the pheonix roll. the fish is always so fresh and the variety is awesome, one of my favorite spots and i hope they don’t change a thing!“

“Nestled in a small corner of a plaza in East Aurora New York is Touka Sushi. As you walk in you're greeted by the cheery sight of their aquarium which hosts several happy, curious and vibrant fish.
I order the Beginner's Combo and have had it with the salad and at other times, the onion soup. To me the onion soup is my favourite choice. It's flavourful and simple tasting in the best way. It's lovely and oniony but also has a light mushroom flavour as well.
Everything is freshly made to order and is of such great quality. The rich is never cold and is always very tasty and tender.
The fish is so fresh. I am so glad that I know about this place and always look forward to having their sushi.“

“I just want to say your waitress Sarah H is absolutely amazing, I can not stress that enough. I do not leave reviews but I HAD to let it be known even though I’m sure it stands out everyday. She had went above and beyond and I say this with an understatement how she went out of her way countless times to occupy our two children. The levels she went to is beyond what words can even explain. You guys truly have THE best employee we have ever witnessed at an establishment and I truly hope it is recognized and appreciated that you truly have a diamond in the ruff! “Our group of 15 was able to get a spot at a hibachi table on a Tuesday night. Service was impeccable! Our server was around multiple times to make sure our drinks never went empty. Our entire group was served salads and soups in unison. Both sides of the table had individual hibachi experiences. Food was delicious! Well seasoned, a little on the salty side, but steak, chicken & shrimp were cooked perfectly. They also accommodated multiple checks. Very impressed with entire experience.“

“My partner and I absolutely love getting the bento boxes from here. The other food is also really good. But the bento boxes are our favorite. I've tried the beef , chicken, and pork from there and they season them so well. I've been going here for the last 6-7 years and have yet to be disappointed. If you get a bento box, order the fried dumplings. Their dumpling sauce is also really good. They also have a very diverse selection of beverages and boba tea.

“Bad bad experience. I was served and finished my dinner before my wife got any of what she ordered. Flagged down several people with restaurant uniform on and was totally ignored. Asked for the bill and waited ten minutes before I had to flag down a person to pay. We’ll never go back, ever!!“

“We’ve ordered from Hokkaido Cafe many times but decided to dine in this time. The food was fantastic. Favorite appetizers were crispy chicken and edamame. And you can never go wrong with the sushi and the ramen. There are so many different combinations you’d have to just keep coming back to try them all - which we plan to do. The tonkotsu and shoyu broth options are our favorites. Highly recommend!“
