“I was there for the first time a few weeks ago. Was so impressed! The vanilla soft serve actually had flavor. Most places I make them put a ton of toppings on just so it has some flavor. Also, the medium was so large my two nieces that normally want larges could barely finish it. So you definitely get your moneys worth. My only question is I want to bring a friend who’s allergic to eggs. I called the shop and they said they didn’t know if there was eggs in the ice cream (If it wasn’t for my friend, I would never know that many places like Carvel does use eggs to make it more creamier). “My four year old was adamant that he wanted a rocket ship ice cream cake for his birthday. I called a 11 ice cream cake shops in the area only to be told that it was impossible without the right mold. One place even asked me to order a mold for them and they would see if they could make the cake but wanted to charge double for the effort. I randomly found this Carvel in Hackensack and after explaining what I wanted, one of the staff members brainstormed ways to make the cake come to life. I sent them a picture and out came the best rocket ship ice cream cake that anyone had ever eaten! The cake looked beautiful, tasted delicious and most importantly, my child was super happy. I will always place cake orders with you guys!“

“Held 2 birthday parties at home with Smallcakes. Each party was a hit. Tina, Lexi & Regina arrived on time with everyhing-- even folding tables, chairs + balloons. The kids colored their own frosting, used a piping bag and decorated with tons of toppings.
When the 6 year olds needed a break, their team cleaned up and turned everything over for lunch, they even included a custom birthday cake. Such a fun party, the adults enjoyed spending time with their kids while Smallcakes did all the work. 10/10!“
