“Completely surprised and intrigued with the menu. This is NOT a Mexican food restaurant as the name might fool you. The shrimp taco wrapped in seaweed paper was so fresh tasting,crunchy and absolutely delish. Fried rice served in your own skillet and you mix the egg in was the best! The smores waffle with homemade custard ice-cream was to die for. Bartender Robbie is a pro mixologist with really new style drinks. This place was a treat and I cant wait to go back. Also the service was perfect!“

“If you’re looking for an amazing Puerto Rican meal, this is the place to go! The alcapurrias were out of this world! And if you know what good alcapurrias taste like then this is the place to go! The lobster and shrimp mofongo was PHENOMENAL and the spicy crab tostones, Asian fusion, CHEFS KISS! The chipotle mac and cheese was such a delicious start to my meal! Overall, everything was a hit! “Finally! I have seen and heard about this truck and have wanted to stop by so many times. Usually I'm in a rush or I pass by after they have gone for the day. The owners were welcoming and seemed to have a good raport with people who seemed to be their regular customers. They recommend the steak and beef tongue , and I also tried the chicken. Other popular ones were sold out, which is always a good sign.The food was fresh and had good flavor. I liked the beef tongue most, which was really tender and slightly gamey. Prices were also reasonable for the amount you get. The horchata was refreshing and not too sweet. Most customers seemed to pull up in the parking lot, which is convenient for the busy street they're on. I will definitely be back for this- authentic and delicious!“

“Great food. Decent price. Very nice and helpful staff. Made me feel at home when I went in to order food for my daughter's birthday meal. Two of us had Birria tacos and one of us had a veggie burrito. We all enjoyed our food.

Vegetarian options: My daughter had the veggie burrito. She is a picky eater but she loved it.

Parking: Found a couple of empty spots on the street. It was around 5 pm during the week.“

“Cheap and reasonable prices, I think I would recommend sticking to the Latin American food (though I have yet to try it) the bagel was kinda bready but the toppings were all good and for 5 bucks I'm happy. “I ordered Birria Ramen for the first time and boy was I in for a treat. I was hesitant at first to try it. That being said, I thought just give it a try and you just might like it. Well, like is a mild word. I LOVED it! So tasty with just the right amount of seasonings. The ramen was al dente, not mushy. I hate mushy noodles. The sauce and the birria was sooo delicioso. It came in a large container that could easily have fed two people or if for one person, there was enough leftover to have a meal the next day, which happened to be exactly what I have done. Can't wait to eat it tonight for dinner.

So the moral of this story is give The Kitchen a try, if you have not as of yet. Order the absolutely delicious birria ramen and you will not be disappointed! As a matter of fact, I will try other offerings at The Kitchen. I sure the food will be as tasty as the birria ramen.“

“i drove here all the way from danbury, ct & let me tell you.. this place did NOT disappoint! hands down the best tacos & quesadilla i’ve ever had in my life. the crunch of the warm shell mixed with the ground beef and cheese was 🔥. the chicken in the quesadilla was shredded and amazing. my friend had the steak tacos, and i’m not a big fan of steak in general but i tried some of hers - it literally melted in my mouth. if i was going to eat steak it would be here. literally everything was cooked to perfection. the drinks being absolutely on point was just a bonus. please open a location close to danbury so you can take all my money😅. “Was in Yonkers to get some paperwork and decided to get lunch before heading back to the city by train. I searched for food and Anselmo's Pizzeria & Deli was nearby. Initially, I was surprised on how small the place was but it was crowded (both tables were occupied and there was a line). Decided on getting two slices of pizza (shrimp and then cheese) and a drink. Both were excellent. Highly recommend the place but better if you takeout.“

“Ordered four pupusas, two with beans and cheese and two with chicken and cheese, and 4 taquitos, two with carne and two with chicken. Not gonna lie I couldn’t tell which one was the chicken and which one was carne so that threw me off a little bit, but the food was pretty delicious. I wasn’t a big fan of la salsa roja, it was a little thin for me and honestly I don’t think we needed that much. But everything was solid. We had some leftover guacamole which rounded out the meal. Definitely recommend the pupusas! Also the best part, everything came out to just about $20, really solid price for the food in my opinion.“

If you ever decide to stop by I recommend trying their Mexican Chorizo Quesadillas and a horchata beverage.
