“I have being eating halal food for the last 10 years. I am very lucky to found the best and cleannest halal store in New York. The gentlemen that served us was a real gentlemen and he's food was excellent ?. We were also lucky to meet other employees running that restaurant in a really great manner and I also recommend this place to everyone interest it on eating real good food. All 3 of us enjoyed everything thanks.“

“I have been a repeat customer for years. I like that they offer custom dishes; you can choose what you would like to add to your salad/rice etc. The food is consistently fresh and their choice of sauces are delicious. Staff is always friendly and attentive. You won't be disappointed.“

“This place doesn't have a fancy interior, but WOW.... they have incredible food. It is 100% consistent every time. I go there once a week, and get their Kebab rolls. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. It's a ground chicken mixed with spices and herbs wrapped on a stick and char-grilled. delicious green and white sauce/lettuce/onions wrapped in a fluffy chewy stretchy naan bread.

For a very low price, I am happy to come here often.

“The brother was the best, great man great service, definitely top 2 and not 2 gyro places in Long Island. Tastes so much like Brooklyn gyro and you can’t beat that. I forgot to take a pic of my food because of how good it was I finished it in under 2 minutes 😂“

I like that they have now changed to thicker French Fries. Huge difference than the thinner fries.

“Al Kababi is hands down one of the best spots for authentic Pakistani food. The moment you walk in, you’re hit with these amazing aromas that just get you excited for what’s coming. The fact that it’s Zabiha makes it even better, knowing everything is halal and carefully sourced. The food? Incredible. We started with the beef Bihari, and they were so juicy and packed with flavor—just the right amount of spice and served with this fresh mint chutney that tied everything together. The biryani, which was perfection. The rice was fragrant, and the meat was super tender, with all those spices working in harmony. The real star, though, was their Amazing Nihari. It tasted homemade, like something you’d get at a family gathering. The spices were bold but balanced, and the meat was cooked to perfection. You could tell they put real love into this dish.
And let’s not forget the naan—soft, warm, and just the right texture to scoop up all the delicious flavors. The staff was so friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re craving real Pakistani food, Al Kababi should be at the top of your list. The quality of the chicken and the rice was above average. The white sauce and the hot sauce were both pretty good too. I will go back for a combo plate next time to taste their lamb. The chicken/lamb gyro from Far Rockaway/Seagirt by Q22 bus stop I believe. Was inside the car so didn’t pay attention. Hubby picked up the boxes. “Absolutely incredible experience having authentic and delicious Afghani food. Had the mixed khebab platter and the Banjan appetizer. Did not disappoint. The rice with carrots, raisins, and onions and 3 sauce choice tasted mind blowing. Perfect blend of sweet and salty.
The khebabs were delicious and rich in flavor and do not disappoint.
