The main reason for my review is the service component of the equation. Oftentimes, Bagel spots can be understaffed and chaotic. People crammed in, long lines, and lackluster experience. My guys at Bagelville want to make sure you get what you came for, and leave with a smile. “I cannot say enough good things about Brain Food Palace in Long Island! I recently ordered their fruit and veggie platters for our work lunch, and they were absolutely stunning. The presentation was next-level from the vibrant mix of fresh greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded carrots, to the meticulously arranged fruits like strawberries, kiwi, pineapple, grapes, oranges, and cantaloupe. They even added a carved pineapple center that made the platter look like a piece of art!

“Amazing food and top-notch service! I absolutely love the meals here. However, I did encounter a small issue with my recent Grubhub orders that I hope the owner can look into. When I order the Almond Butter Toast with a quantity of 2 and slices set to 2, I should receive 4 slices in total. But what ends up happening is I only get 2 slices, and to work around this, I have to place 2 separate orders for 1 slice each to ensure my order was right to make up for the missing food.

While I don’t mind this workaround since I love the food, it does seem like there might be a glitch with how the system processes orders when selecting 2 orders of 2 slices each. For example, when I ordered 2 with 2 slices, I was charged $13.98 but i only got 2 slices, but when I ordered 2 single slices, the total came to $9.98. Hope this review helps your correct this one little issue.“

“Just have to give a quick shoutout to Hard Bean on Merrick Ave. Victor and his wife Elise opened 10 days ago just north of the train station. My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

After we got off the phone I guess he went to the back just to to double check and realized he had a little extra left and went out of his way to scoop out whatever was left in the back to give to me. “I’ve came here 2 times already But the thing I most recommend is the vibe!
The whole place is super cool definitely a hidden gem. Tons of board games and arcade games to use (FOR FREE). Even a giant connect 4.
Definitely stayed there playing for a while. Also I have to say the people who work there are super nice.
So far I’ve had their Oreo bubble tea very good. And there macaroons pistachio and cookies and cream very fresh and delicious. Also I had 2 types of there dumplings I recommend the beef that one was pretty good.. (I did not care for the chicken it was just not good it tasted like curry, very weird it also made my stomach feel bad). This place is more if you have a sweet tooth..

“I accidentally discovered SoBol while I was walking around, but I’m very glad I did. I got a kids size coconut smoothie bowl (I wasn’t sure if i’d like it) with some nutella, and it was delicious. I also got a spirulina smoothie and it was so good that I’ve visited SoBol twice more to satisfy my cravings! My brother got a Chocolate Cacao smoothie, and he absolutely loved it, he finished it in approximately 5 minutes. He would recommend it for kids or for adults with a sweet tooth!“
