““Pierogis for lunch?” “Yes, mam.” That’s a real interaction my wife and I had today. I thought she meant she’d heat some frozen PBoyz up but no, she wanted to go a pierogi specialty restaurant. I didn’t know how it would be but I ate there with her. It’s good! I got the pierogis and a kielbasa. Very good! Don’t go for the extra sour cream as you won’t need it. We’ll come back - and when we do, we’ll see you there I bet. Bc if you got this far, why wouldn’t you just drive over and check it out?“
“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“
“I been here twice already for dinner. The chef and host very friendly. Food is delicious, vegetables and fish cooked perfectly grilled or fried. Stuffed calamari A plus. This place is small and has a nice bodega feel to it. Hope it stays that way. Feels like a hidden secret gem.“
“I really enjoyed eating at Olive Graden BGC. Especially the salad. I got 5 refills of it. The staffs was very accomodating and attended all our needs. Kudos! For a job well done.Vegetarian options: I love eating vegetables so I recommend this for vege lovers.“
“I enjoyed my ramen very much!! Miso Ramen was tasty and filling! My daughters tried the moshi dessert, which they enjoyed. We went late on a weekday so it was very slow. The shrimp appetizer was delicious, I liked the sauce that came with it. I was in the mood for Ramen and I got exactly what I wanted!“
“One of the friendliest places I have been too. I am a vegetarian and they took time to explain what was vegetarian. The service is surpassed only by the food. I surely recommend to try the place once. The soup is something I loved the most. The Schechuan dumplings were excellent too among other items.Vegetarian options: See my comments. We are vegetarian and liked the food and service.“
“Came here on a Friday night craving sushi with my wife. We ordered the 3 classic rolls plus an additional which came with one soup. We ordered miso soup with it which I was going to give to my wife. But he came and brought us 2 soups! One free! He was so kind and service was amazing. Will DEFINITELY be coming back. Also love the interior of this place so nice and cozy!“
“Very good tacos, good location, good service. Only downside to this place is the lack of seating and overall interior of the store. Would definitely be a lot lot better with more seating and an interior change, but I can get over that for some of the best local tacos.“
“Delicious food and we had the best service from Hima! Looking forward to going back soon and getting a burger! The wings and waffle fries were top notch! So happy to have delectable comfort eats that can be gluten free!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free“
“Solid sandwiches! I was so sad when Village Heros closed down and began my search yet again for that Soul-satisfying sandwich... Roast is in the running! Got the Cubano and the Country Fried Chicken sandwiches - so tasty!! Also enjoyed the house made fries - ordered two for two people but one order would have sufficed. Great portions! The only downside (very slight) would be the Mac and Cheese - not bad but not great. It was the only hiccup during the whole meal. Service was quite friendly and efficient; the seating area was clean and comfortable. Parking is easy and, if you have room for dessert, Ralph's is just a couple of steps away (during the warmer days).“
“Had time to kill and was hungry for lunch and thought pizza would be good to try. Glad to see they sold warmed slices and not just whole pies. I got a traditional pepperoni slice, a piece of grandmas with just cheese and a Dr Pepper. Total came to 11 bucks. The pepperoni was the stand out, crispy crust, good blend of cheese, pepperoni tasted good too. Pleasant staff who were friendly and a lot of regular walk ins who made it feel like a good vibe all the way around. I'd love to have tried a whole pie with a combo as I'm sure it would be good“
“Good place to get some delicious food. J*** chicken with rice and peas was very delicious but be a little cautious with finding a few chopped bone pieces. Shrimp and chicken patties were delicious and flavorful too, with a very flaky crust. Friendly staff.“
“Some of the best pizza I have had. Enzo’s stands out above the rest. And being on Long Island, there are plenty of good pizzerias. I came with a family member and friends and the welcoming environment and cleanliness of the establishment was immediately noticeable. When you are considering where to get your next slice, make no hesitation in visiting Enzo’s.“
“In the area, wanted a quick lunch take out of soup and sandwich. Looked to be a nice, family run walk in, walk out place with a good rep. Took out both creamy chicken and chicken barley (both very good) and chicken pesto wrap also good. Service quick and friendly. Would have liked more soup choices considering the name. All in all hit the spot!“
“Def 5 stars for the fantastic sushi place. Kaji's food and ambiance was very nice with a large full bar and we always enjoyed our family dinner there. Kaji is the only one spot in GC that my family and I will go for Japanese food for years and years. They have a pretty decent lunch menu and catering platter. Su & Sa for 2 or su for 2 are very fresh and great presentation which came with 2 special rolls. All lunches and entree come with soup and salad. Over all, we always had great service and the best sushi ever at kaji. Highly recommend to others. Free parking is available in the rear of the building and outdoor seating also available. 10% off via online ordering for pick up or delivery!!!“
“2/14/24Brought my wife for Valentine's day dinner and man oh man... I had the biggest tender Veal parm ever!!! Soooooooo goood my wife loved the Shrimp Scampi and TastyMango Margherita.... Such a cozy romantic place with excellent service. Will definitely be back, wonderful dinning experience“
“I recently dined at Madeira Sports Café with a friend on a quiet Tuesday night. The dual ambiance of a bar and dining area created a welcoming atmosphere. Our meal started with delicious beef pastries as an appetizer. For the main course, my friend enjoyed the pasta a la vodka, while I opted for the grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables. We paired our meals with a glass of Portuguese red and white wine. The attentive service by Mauricio, our waiter, truly stood out. When I praised the white wine without knowing its name, Mauricio went the extra mile, bringing an empty bottle for us to photograph. He also thoughtfully changed the TV channel from loud soccer to horse riding, enhancing our dining experience. Mauricio’s timely and polite check-ins added to the overall positive impression. The food itself was exceptional, and we chose to forgo dessert. With Mauricio’s attentive service and the delectable dishes, I confidently give Madeira Sports Café a perfect 5 out of 5 rating. We’re already looking forward to another delightful dinner at this establishment and highly recommend it to others.“
“Suprisingly excellent. Was in the neighborhood for a grand opening Mexican place but the line was a block long and was in blustery/ drizzly 26 degree miserable queue, decided to try this Thai place diagonally across. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised. The decor was beautiful and we were greeted warmly. We tried the drunken noodles, pad thai and all were delicious with the perfect amount of heat. Ive had alot of Thai noodles and these were a couple of stars beyond. Frank the owner was so friendly. Apparently his wife is the chef. I def wanna come back to try the other more adventurous dishes. Ordered noodles because they were safe and we came in on a whim.“
“I had been getting Spring Gardens menu in the mail but just ordered here last Friday and IT WAS THE BEST CHINESE FOOD we've eaten in a long time.Spring Gardens brings to their dishes full authentic flavors in their food that other Chinese take outs by me lack (the other takeout places seem their different dishes taste the same) for example hot and sour soup in other take out establishments have omitted ingredients and is just broth here it's chocked full of flavor and textureTheir MISO Soup has tremendous amount of tofu and seaweed and MISO has a velfty silky textureGeneral Taso chicken has a great amount of sauceUnfortunately IT WAS A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT at spring gardens as with every other takeout Chinese establishment IT'S SUPPOSE TO BE DEEP FRIED WITH A CRISPY BITE TOSSED IN THE SAUCE but WHEN IT'S PLACED IN THE PLASTIC CONTAINER IT STEAMS IT AND LOSSES THAT CRISPY TEXTURE AND THERE'S NO RED PEPPER PODS ? COULD IT BE CHEAPER TO OMIT IT?BUT AGAIN THIS PLACE IS SO AWESOME I AM ORDERING AGAIN TONIGHT“
“Nice little place..I usually order the Mahi Mahi tacos. You can get them.fried, grilled or blackened. I always get them blackened but I tell the to go easy on the seasonings so it's not too spicy. The order comes with 2 big tacos and a side which for 14 bucks is pretty good and the Fish is always fresh.“
“I love Capo's! The paninis are similar to a La Bottega but better. The bread is delicious! My favorites are the Cueno, Greco and the Pop but no cheese, add broccoli raab. You can eat in or take out. Inside is similar to most Italian restaurants, dining room is smaller but cozy. Service is always welcoming and they are quick. If you have a hankering for a panini, make sure you try it out!“
“Ginos is the best pizza in seaford! I grew up on Tarrallos, so I know good pizza! They also have the most delicious soups! The chicken escarole and bean is out of this world! Their catering is always on point as well! Definitely worth every penny and calorie!“
“Food was really good. Will definitely be going back. It was a little dingy on the inside for Syosset standards. the staff was very nice and friendly. I even had ordered fried tofu to my online order and when I showed up they wanted to charge me an up charge. when I told them I didn’t have any cash they allowed me to get the tofu anyway.“
“Me and my husband genuinely liked our dinner here,We ordered oxtail pho and veggie phoOxtail was well cooked, the soup was delicious. We ate that with a buttered warm baguette. Veggie pho had a light broth which was enjoyable too.Servers are welcoming and they check on you to ensure you are having a great experience.Plenty of parking near byI do recommend this place.“
“The pizzas, especially the “white” ones, are terrific. The dough is thin and crispy. One of their special products, eggplant pastry, is also very delicious. Deepdish pizza had a little less cheese. Portions are large and the price is affordable. It would be good if the employees at the counter knew the ingredients of the pizzas.“
“If you're looking for soup, this is definitely the place. I tried the chicken pot pie soup and a grilled cheese. As I expected the grilled cheese was thin, not melted enough and really could pass on it. Need to upgrade it a bit and not make it like a 2nd grader made it. Chicken pot pie soup was very filling and filled with chicken, veggies, the right spice and flavorful. Also comes with a yummy biscuit. I'd come back and try the other soups and maybe a stand out sandwich.“
“I picked up 3 large pies, 2 sodas and 2 orders of garlic knots yesterday for an event and was blown away by both the service and the quality! Seriously, it's no wonder they have such a great rating. The spinach was some of the best spinach pizza I've had (and I've had a lot!) and the garlic knots were an interesting and appreciated take on the usual shape. They were more mini garlic knots, but tasted super garlicy and delicious! Next time, I'll be dining in for sure!“
“This location is a decent sized store that shares a parking lot with a gym. I always find a spot but it's usually pretty busy here. Plenty of seating and you order at the kiosks or register which is right when you walk in. People are nice here and they are polite as well. Food comes out pretty quickly. There are booths and tables if you choose to dine in.“
