“Pretty typical neighborhood bar — pool table, dartboard, and a big food menu with all the usual favorites. I came in for the wings special I saw online, but it turns out the menu I found was about nine months old. Instead, it was Taco Tuesday. The tacos were good, not amazing, but definitely decent bar food.

The bartender/server was super friendly and kept things moving even though she seemed to be handling most of the bar on her own. The wings looked great when I saw a few orders come out — and apparently, they’re only 50¢ each on Wednesdays from 7pm to close, so I might have to come back to try them then.

Overall, a solid, laid-back spot for a casual night out.“

“Shooters is a great place! It’s where good food meets sports. You can always catch all football hockey baseball golf and more…. It’s conveniently located between the wantagh parkway, & 135 just 2 blocks from sunrise and the train. It’s also the first stop back from the beach so make sure you stop in for some great food . Food has a great selection from Bar food and apps to sandwiches wraps steaks and seafood! Decor is an awesome relaxed vibe with sandals on the walls and tiki straws hanging with surf boards on the ceiling. Large wall of TVs let’s you catch every game snd every play. Service was great as well with super friendly bartenders! The kids menu and family friendly environment was such a bonus. This place really captures the best of two worlds. We’ll be back for sure !!!“

“Clean place. Food was fresh. Attentive staff. We went for my birthday on a Wednesday at 3:30. We were the only ones there so we may have had top notch attention for this reason. $40/adult, $20 for a 5yo and the 4yo was free. They sort this out by height. We LOVED their fried calamari. The table sides such as kimchi and other veggies were so yummy! I was pleasantly surprised with an ice cream cup and a birthday song. Also the music was fun! “I was there at Jian Nan Syosset, Long Island. Everything went great!! But, those took the orders needed to be more educated to understand each dishes. We were a fairly larger group than standard party size. Some dished were small and some dim sum served with small quantities, like 3 or 4. Those who order for the large group, should give suggestion to order multiple orders for the same dish. So, each one in the group can have at least one.“

“😀this is a great place to spend Sundays watching football. I love their food. It’s not typical bar food. The spinach dip is delicious with homemade pita chips. Their shrimp tacos are one of my favorites. Even better than Mexican restaurants. The bartender Gianna is very attentive and does her job well. The bar manager keeps everything running smoothly and has dealt with a few payment issues with me and is patient and helps me work through the apps. It is clean and not one of those places with dirty floors or dirty bathrooms. If you have not been here I recommend you give a try you won’t be disappointed“

The owner, Shawn, is friendly, respectful, and knows his stuff. When he took over The Irish Pub, he made it a point to get involved as an active part of the community and create an inclusive atmosphere. This bar and its patrons, especially on karaoke nights (every other Friday) with NV Entertainment, are a lively bunch so you'll be sure to have a good time. It does get crowded at times, especially during karaoke, but that's how you know it's a great place to be!

They have a new menu and I hadn't tried the burgers yet, so I figured I'd give the Bruin Burger a shot. I was having so much fun that I had to save the burger and fries for the next day, so it was wrapped up to go. Even next day, it DID NOT disappoint! Pop it in the air fryer and you're golden. No excuse not to get a good meal from here, even if you don't drink.

Last but not least, Big Los behind the bar is always helpful. Seeing I ordered a few drinks (and I have small hands), he picked them up with ease and brought them all to the table for me. I notice things like that because how many times have you been to a busy bar and the bartender just pours your drinks, takes your money, and you have to figure out how to get them over to your table without spilling? Los took the guesswork out of it. Thank you, Los!

“Every time I come to Long Island, Applebee’s is my go-to spot. The food is always delicious, and they keep adding even more tasty options to the menu that never disappoint. The staff is super friendly and always makes you feel welcome, which makes the whole experience even better. I love the atmosphere—it’s close to the airport so you can see planes flying by, and inside you’ve got big NFL games on the TV screens, which is perfect for game day. Plus, being able to order food and play games right from the mini tablet at the table makes it both fun and convenient. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat when I’m here!“

“The food was great , they do give you a good portion, it's a little bit pricey but the sauce is excellent, the Peruvian food is very unique,since in long Island is very hard to get good food, most restaurants in long Island suck at food, so this place makes it very rare to find.
The stfa very courteous and friendly, the place it's small but cozy, they do have a bar, take it out is recommended but unless you want to impress stay indoors and eat, very nice place.🎶“

“My brother, his wife, and I went to this establishment for lunch and were seated outside, since it was such nice weather on that day. We ordered spinach & artichoke dip and boneless wings as starters, which we gladly enjoyed; and Leo's BBQ ribs, the Trojan Chicken, and the Teriyaki skirt steak for the entrees. Each dish was quite delicious, although my sister-in-law found the steak a bit salty for her tastes. The staff were kind and very attentive as well. Personally, the Trojan chicken was my favorite out of the entrees. It came with a side of yellow rice, and the grilled chicken was topped with mushrooms and cheese. I highly recommend it!“

“This place was my go-to spot for the two for 20 deal... Then they changed it two for $25, which was still okay. Then they changed the menu and got rid of the chicken tenders and fries, for the two for $25... Why I don't know, since then don't really go there no more...“
