“This Chinese takeout/restaurant is one of the best in the area. The food is great! Cooked to specifications and flavorful. Some of the awesome dishes prepared here are General Tso’s chicken, Egg Foo Young, chicken with cashews and Sweet and Sour chicken. *There are many more delicious dishes that are made here of course! The rice is cooked just right, not mushy or hard. They serve vegetable fried rice, chicken fried rice and white rice. The chicken served here is tender white meat. Egg rolls are a really good side For vegetarian style, try the spring rolls, as they contain vegetables and cabbage only. Lo-mein noodles are so good; savory and rich They’re prepared with chicken, beef, shrimp or vegetables. Combo prices range from $7 to just under 10 dollars. Lunch specials are a good price with generous portions. *This is also a family run restaurant and they take pride in their food and kitchen. The dining area is clean and well kept, including the tables. There is a really cool Asian-theme artwork framed on the wall adjacent to the front counter. It definitely makes for the overall aesthetics of this place, Prices are really good for the quality of food served here. They offer delivery here too. Friendly and prompt service.“
“Kudos to this spot for being open late on a sunday night! The wonton soup was great and the dumplings are awesome. my husband got the ribs with fried rice, he said it's good although the fried rice is a little bland. Overall thankful for this food! 9/10“
“No matter where you live on Long Island, Siam Emerald is worth the trip !! This restaurant is beautifully decorated- from the greenery on the ceilings to the gorgeous bathrooms. Siam Emerald definitely knows the importance of great service : The wait staff was amazingly attentive! The cuisine was truly outstanding. Every appetizer, entree and dessert that we ordered didn't disappoint. Absolutely everything we tried was sooo delicious AAND...we were wowed with the unique and creative presentation of every dish. This place was packed but not too loud. It was just a completely enjoyable evening! Needless to say , we highly recommend!!!!! Thanks Siam Emerald ! We had a great time and we'll be back soon!“
“This place was very cute. Food was delicious . The only down side is that it was very tiny and it was cold outside when we went so every time the door opened we felt the cold air which kind of ruined the atmosphere. Aside from that service was good and food was good. Definitely a place to take cute pictures.“
“This is my go to place for all things Thai. The food and taste is authentic, always hot and fresh when served and the staff is incredible. My go to:Shrimp pad see ewChicken pineapple fried riceChicken massaman curryChicken satayChive dumplingsWingsShrimp sa ba thongSpicy eggplantDuck saladMandi stick rice dessert“
“A metric that I use to determine how good a restaurant is, is how good is each dish on the menu. Some restaurants are known for certain dishes while everything else is ok. This is not the case with Basil Leaf Grill. Everything that I have tried is a home run. The service is swift and accommodating when you dine in as well as the pickup service. If you order for pick up, the order will be ready in about 10 minutes. The restaurant is comfortable with mainly high partitioned booths. Lastly, the drunken noodles with beef is the best.“
“I had the Duck Pad See Ew now these noodles remind me of drunken noodle so if you like that then you will love this dish! The duck was succulent and crispy on the outside cooked to perfection wow! The food was tasty but not salty and greasy like other Thai places I have tried recently. The chef is top notch and knows what she is doing for real just the right balance of flavor and taste in every single bite. Next up I had the appetizer the main event the "Zaab" Spicy Chicken Wings. I've never had chicken wings with this particular flavor or seasoning before so this was new territory for me. No need to worry though as you're in good hands like All State with this chef she is no joke and has clearly put in her 10,000 hours and then some respectfully. It was a dry rub fried chicken wing with spicy chili flakes or chili powder rubbed underneath and/or on top of the wing itself which was fried and coated to perfection I was impressed thoroughly to say the least. This was the sleeper and highlight our orders. We also ordered last but not least the chicken pad Thai which was flavorful and the ingredients were super fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place can't say it enough five stars is a minimum! By the way and oh yes please try the Thai Iced Tea and Coconut Water for good measure to wash down your meal. Run don't walk to try out this new gem in the neighborhood and tell them Blanco sent you lol! Tell a friend to tell a friend it's them again yummy!“
“5 stars all across the board! All I have to say is, WOW! Love the energy and atmosphere! Family owned business and you can tell they take pride in their work! The food is always so fresh and tasty! The quantities are always perfect and the taste is always on point! Seating area is small, but usually clears out fairly quick! Wish we had more establishments like this one here! My favorite is the Hakka chicken with brown rice!!“
“I was recommended this place for my first time trying Thai food. I had the Vegetable Pad Thai, and it was amazing, truly expanded my taste palette and really set the bar for me. I tried a different Thai spot not long after (out of state lol) and it was not as good as this one. Thankful to my friend in GC for the recommendation!“
“Cotillion has been my go-to Indian restaurant in Long Island for years, offering an unmatched dining experience every time. Their classics like Chicken Tikka, Cotillion Special Biryani, and the Malai Kabab never disappoint, but it's the Chilli Fried Lamb that truly steals the show. The fusion of traditional and innovative, especially with dishes like Hakka Noodles Chilli Paneer, sets Cotillion apart. Whether dining in or opting for their excellent catering service, Cotillion is a culinary jewel worth experiencing.“
“Absolutely delicious Thai food. The eggplant with basil and massaman curry was amazing! Can't wait to eat here again. It's not the fanciest restaurant but the food is great! Only criticism is that the portions could be a bit bigger. I felt like they were on the smaller side.“
“I took my friend who’s been to Thailand before here, and he said that it was some of the most authentic Thai food he’s had outside woodside-elmhurst. I recommend the spring rolls, fried snapper with basil sauce, drunken noodles, crispy basil pork belly, palm juice, pumpkin custard, Tom yum, massaman curry, and fried banana. The people are very friendly too, and take the time to help newcomers get acquainted with Thai cuisine.“
“My new FAVORITE restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious. I’m vegan and they have a great selection of vegan dishes and can make some non vegan dishes vegan. The vegan duck is outstanding. I even questioned if they accidentally gave me real duck! The service was also excellent. They don’t serve alcohol, but you can bring your own. We went with friends and they loved it.“
“Nothing fancy, but fantastic. A gem of a restaurant tucked into a sleepy town… but you can travel and try Thai spots all over the country and this one holds a special spot in my heart. I don’t like that the lunch specials are smaller now, but the food is delicious , service friendly and atmosphere when eating there is very authentic and solid. Strongly encourage others to try and support this great business!“
“I tried Khamdee Thai Kitchen for the first time today and I am so happy I did. I was greeted kindly and menu items were explained to me while I placed my takeout order. While I waited for my takeout order to be ready, I was provided a Thai iced tea which was fantastic while I sat and waited in the restaurant. The restaurant has a nice ambiance with a friendly vibe. When I got home to eat my meal with my family, the peanut sauce was perfection- and I'm a peanut sauce snob LoL. I like that it was explained to me in the restaurant that the peanut sauce for the salad is a slightly different consistency so it can coat the salad nicely and labeled in bag so I knew which peanut sauce container to add to my salad. I'm so glad I bought extra peanut sauce as well. It's so delicious! Chicken satay was great, and the drunken noodles were extremely flavorful with the right amount of spice for my liking. The massaman curry was one of the best I ever had and my husband pad Thai was yummy. Overall, I will be coming back to this restaurant again for sure! Thanks for a great experience.“
“A little newcomer, Thai place in the strip mall next to The Orient in Bethpage. The food was shockingly good! Every dish was done right but the stars were definitely the chicken Tom Kha & the Ribeye over drunken udon noodles, perfect texture. I love Thai Iced Tea! It's never enough. Secret......ask for the Monster Thai Iced Tea. Service with a smile deserves the extra star!!“
“This place has become my go to when I buy lunch at work. I've had a few dishes so far and they are really good, pricing is fair and they are very fast. The people working are always very nice and polite.Vegetarian options: Plenty of veggie dishes and seems like they are willing to work around certain changes you might want to make“
“Suprisingly excellent. Was in the neighborhood for a grand opening Mexican place but the line was a block long and was in blustery/ drizzly 26 degree miserable queue, decided to try this Thai place diagonally across. Well, we were very pleasantly surprised. The decor was beautiful and we were greeted warmly. We tried the drunken noodles, pad thai and all were delicious with the perfect amount of heat. Ive had alot of Thai noodles and these were a couple of stars beyond. Frank the owner was so friendly. Apparently his wife is the chef. I def wanna come back to try the other more adventurous dishes. Ordered noodles because they were safe and we came in on a whim.“
“Smallish storefront w/ seating for 16. Good lunch specials Tue - Fri bet. noon - 3:00pm. Closed Sun. & Mon. They will adjust spicing levels at customer's request. Recommended: Drunken Noodles; Pad Thai; Thai Fried Spring or Shrimp Rolls; Chicken Sate and Roti w/Thai Style peanut dressing to dip. Up to ten protein choices on many dishes; prices vary somewhat dependent upon choice. Also, Thai Green Salad w/ peanut dressing & Thai cold beef salad w/ tangy, spicy sauce. Massaman Curry was my favorite of five types offered... Have either eaten there or purchased to go. Delivery available thru outside svces.“
“I highly recommend this restaurant for those who are looking for a cozy atmosphere with amazing food. It has become my favorite restaurant to stop by ever since I tried their delicious food.It is very close to the beach and there is always parking space available near by. The waitress is very sweet, excellent customer service!“
“Unbelievable Thai food. My favorite Thai food on Long Island. Have been coming here for over 20 years. It's disappointing that it is more take out than restaurant, but the food is incredible. Very reasonable prices. I recommend Bag of Gold and Curry Puffs for appetizers. Basil chicken or any curry.“
“One of the best Thai restaurants in the area. The food is always tasty and flavourful. I always like to pick up my orders in person because they always treat me a great amount of courtesy and respect. You can get anything on the menu and not be disappointed!“
“The weather was just Peeerrrrfect to enjoy delicious Thai food!!Went to Lemon Leaf in Hicksville with family - it is one of our favorite joints - the food is tasty, service is quick and the ambiance is very homely. We like to start of with the Tom Yum soup & chicken satay, but this time we also ordered Thai fried shrimp with walnut - they had some sort of sweet sauce on top - it tasted different, but in a good way!!Main course usually is Panag Curry ( so tasty, so so tasty...) Basil Chicken, String Beans with shrimp, Chicken fried rice, Pad Thai... every dish was made to perfection!Thank you Lord!!“
“Food was great. I ordered ahead and dined in during lunch. The price for the amount of food is amazing given the rising costs with everything. I had a General Tso chicken with brown rice and a side of hot & sour soup. It warmed me right up and I was on my way. The food was fresh and hot! I will return soon for the Thai menu items! :“
“Food is great! My reasoning for 4/5 stars is because this is the the second time I ordered and received dirty shrimp. Needs to be cleaned properly and would be 5/5. As you can see in the picture this is why you always check your shrimp guys!“
“I know I’m going to regret this. Nothing good comes from giving a restaurant a rave review, and, of course, the next time I order, I will be told that I have hours to wait to get my order because they’re too busy, but…I just can’t help it.It’s that phenomenal.I had almost given up ever having the kind of amazing Chinese food I had when I was a kid.You all know. Sunday night with the parents. You meet your aunts, uncles and cousins at the local chop suey place, and everything was so good, you’re licking your fingers in the car the whole way back to Canarsie. After jumping from one bland tasteless Chinese take-out to another, all the same dull, half burned spare ribs, soggy eggroll filled with cabbage, over salted wonton soup where you need a miners pick to find the meat in the dumpling, it happened. Now, I need to preface this review with the fact that we’ve only had delivery, never eaten in, but what we’ve had…omg! The Mmm factor is so high, that we actually moan and groan as we eat.I mean, we sat down, turned on Jeopardy, and were ready for a boring meal from just another dive, when it happened!!“Paul? Did you taste the spare rib? Paul!!”“Shush…I think I died and went to heaven!”“How’s the soup?”“I think they made a mistake. This wonton is full of meat!”“You won’t believe this!! The eggroll crunches…it crunches! There’s no grease dripping out of it…there’s meat in it!!“Gimme that! You’re lyin….OMG!”Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!!Everything was fresh, delicious and came…get this…sit down…ready?…came hot!!The place is on Hicksville road…we’re a good 15 minutes at least, away…and it was hot!We dove through our order!! C’mon!! Isn’t anything going to be bland?? Greasy? Tasteless? Again! OMG!Well, after you’ve read through my raving, I guess I have to tell you the name of this Utopia…you’ve been patient, deserving…but if I have to wait hours for my next order…the onus will be on you!!The food is beyond delicious! Everything from even the old standard, chicken chow mein, to new stuff, such as eggplant in garlic sauce, is outstanding…yes, I know, the name…New King Dragon…on Hicksville Road in Massapequa…and as Ray Malland said in the Lost Weekend…I know I’m going to hate myself in the morning.Enjoy!! I know you will.Vegetarian options: Vegetables are crisp, fresh and delicious.“
“We enjoyed the food and service here. Everything was delicious. Large portions, with fresh and authentic ingredients. The menu is via a QR code on the table. I prefer a regular printed menu, but that’s minor. The waitstaff was helpful. The atmosphere and service was nice. Would definitely recommend it and we would go back for sure. Nice spot for couples and small groups.Vegetarian options: There are various options for those that don’t want meat, and the vegetables and noodles were fresh, tasty, and plentiful.“
“Was presently surprised at how good this small little Thai restaurant was. The place was clean, the service was fast, and the food was tasty. Got the chicken pad Thai dish, which had some great flavor and was rather large. My wife and I also split the spring rolls, which were delicious and perfectly crispy. Overall, it was a great Thai spot to try. Enjoy.“
“Happened to be in the area and decided to stop here with my family. It's a small restaurant inside but the decor was cute. The portion size of all the food was perfect and you'll leave satisfied. We started with the chicken wings and spring rolls. The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and moist on the inside while not being greasy. The spring rolls had a perfect crunch and the chili sauce it comes with was delicious. The fresh ginger chicken was flavorful and the ginger flavor wasn't overpowering. The red curry with chicken was amazing. It was extremely flavorful and had good ratios of veggies to meat to curry. The Thai fried rice with chicken was classic and flavorful. The portion was enough for two people. I also paired my curry with the fried rice and loved the combination. Overall an excellent Thai spot tucked away in Port Washington. 10/10 will definitely be back again when I'm in the area.“
“This is such a great spot for Thai food! The food is delicious and the portion sizes are good for the price. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the ambience is great. I especially recommend the Spicy Crispy Pork Belly, the Roasted Duck in Red Curry, and the Calamari. We also met the owner, who is very kind and dedicated to delivering the highest quality of service. Overall, a reslly solid spot for good Thai food. Check out my full review on Yelp!“
“My lunch bento box was freshly made and very tasty. The chicken was tender the sauce was not overly sweet nor too much. The vegetables fresh. Only downfall was the California roll which was just ok as were the three small cigar size spring rolls Will definitely go back and try the different items as well as the basic Chinese food items“
