“We went to this wonderful restaurant today for the first time, and it was unbelievably great! The man who waited on us answered all of our questions, the environment is warm and inviting, the service was the best ever, service was great, and we were not hurried in any way. Prices are reasonable and the quantity of food is spot on for hungry people. And of course, don't forget the desserts. There is a whole case of desserts to choose, and they were DELICIOUS. We will definitely go back and go back again and again.“

“The atmosphere was was great. Our waitress Bella( at the Rochester one) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly sling with our hostess and other table help. Was a great experience. The only thing I was disappointed in ( which wasn’t any of these peoples doing) was my porterhouse steak. For the money, it should have been a nice cut. It was an end cut, one that even some stores don’t use…let alone a very upscale restaurant. It was also supposed to be med rare n was med. I didn’t send it back because st least it was pink, but it was well past med rare. My crab cake was very good. The lobster and crab mac and cheese was also very good. I’d definitely recommend and go back. Just not sure if I’d get the porterhouse again. Probably go with just the filet.“

“All aspects of our dining experience were excellent; food, wine, service, atmosphere. Their menu is fairly brief but they put attention into each dish and it shows. We had the olives, both menu salads, the gnudi, and the Sunday sauce.
I make a Sunday sauce I've been refining for years, and tasting theirs has suggested a new approach for me, just great. The bill was very reasonable considering the quality of the experience.
Angelina's is a real gem, a terrific upgrade to this location.“

“I’ll preface this by saying that I’ve had garbage plates from Dogtown & Nick’s (the OG). I got a half-plate, which was still a huge portion weighing probably four pounds, with mac’n’homefries and cheeseburger topped with the cinnamon (mild but tasty) meat sauce and “a little bit” of onions, mustard, and ketchup. This was BY FAR the most delicious garbage plate I’ve ever had. I will ABSOLUTELY be coming back here. And it’s less than a 10-minute, quick’n’easy drive from Rochester General Hospital (so skip the Wolfgang Puck despite the convenience). I will add that the young woman who took my order was kind and friendly. The meal “to-go” was ready in less than 4 minutes. And the food was delicious, not at all greasy—literally PERFECT“

“Never a bad meal or experience. THE place to go for a consistently great meal. If anything is not right, Ken and the staff will bend over backwards to please, just don't be shy. Mac and cheese is amazing. Now I'm hungry and will be going tonight!

“We had a reservation celebrating a special occasion. We were seated, but didn't have anyone serve us for 20-25 minutes, until my partner flagged down wait staff. They were super apologetic and immediately took our whole order, and comped our drinks! Clearly it was a fluke in what was otherwise a phenomenal meal with very hospitable and professional staff. Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious and it was especially neat to sit at the kitchen bar and watch everything be prepared.“

“We just held our daughter’s wedding reception at the Max of Eastman Place and I have to say thank you for all you did to provide the perfect venue for our special celebration. The staff was attentive and a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. Everything was amazing and our guests had a wonderful evening. The food was spectacular and the ambience both inside and outside in the court yard was the perfect setting. Everybody felt truly blessed with the entire evening. “5 PM reservations to beat the rush, belated birthday dinner. Small place, maybe 6 tables in the eating area unless there was another area we did not see. The bar was hopping! Small as well, a couple of standing tables, rest was 2-3 deep at the bar. It was Negroni night, free samples and $10 cocktails. Tried a couple of the flavors, but Campari is not for me.
As for dinner, the excellent server (Chris) provided multiple choices of water. Hubby liked the house wine which was Alex Valley Vine according to the bill (also named Monroes Restaurant at the top of the bill).
Three warm rolls arrived. We both had the Lobster Bisque which came with sherry on top. Best we have had in a long, long time! Hubby had the Filet (perfect) with Truffle butter and Truffle fries (never enough truffles I guess!). I had the Seafood Tagliatelle, asking for the chef to make it spicy. Great flavor and large scallops, shrimp and lobster.
We enjoyed everything very much except maybe the fries as they were more like huge potato wedges, crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Hubby used some truffle butter on what he ate as he said the inside did not have much taste.
Pricey, so review online information before going.

Parking: There is a parking lot outside of the Chinese food place. Enough to get in and get out. Food is delicious. I got pepper steak with fried rice and egg roll. Hubby got fried fish with shrimp fried rice and egg roll. He said he loved his.Try it you won't be disappointed“

“This is a strip mall Chinese place, so it's not going to be the most authentic or unique experience you'll have eating. But for what it is and what it costs, this place is above average. When you're just looking for fried rice, egg rolls, wonton soup, and sesame chicken, this place will scratch that itch.
I've ordered from here many times and there's rarely a wait when they tell me it'll be ready in 15 minutes. Food is routinely hot and the staff is friendly. Can't really dine in, but to-go is fine.“
