“I’ve been searching for a chicharrones spot in NYC for a long time and I’m glad I finally found a spot in Flushing! I got the chicharrones with rice and beans and potato salad (comes with half an avocado). Every aspect of the meal was delicious. The pork was perfectly crispy, the rice was soft and delicious. The beans also paired perfectly with the rice.

The staff was also super sweet and friendly. I would definitely come back for more and for breakfast. I saw a lot of New York breakfast friendly options on the menu for a very reasonable price. They take cash, credit card, and apple pay!“

What I liked most is the picada in other Colombian places is usually all fried but here they grill the chicken and steak. The kids fries with mini hotdogs was also huge for a kid size and great priced, couldent recommend this place enough to all of you. I will def be back for more.“

I don’t know about the other workers but the girl that works morning is so lovely. She played Karol G every morning for an entire week and it was just a vibe. “This place was a godsend when I had a multi-hour layover in JFK after a long international flight early in the morning; it's very easy to get to by AirTrain and saves you from paying airport prices for the McDonald's breakfast menu when you're still on Asian time and in the mood for dinner - in fact it's cheaper than McDonalds' off-airport prices these days. The staff spoke English and were willing to explain what things were; I had a nice cup of coffee, some tasty empanadas and a fried croquette filled with minced shredded chicken and vegetables. It is a great choice for anybody that has a lengthy layover in JFK during a meal time, especially if you need to change terminals and leave the secured area anyway.“
