(There goes my diet) I ran across Layers from Uber Eats and googled the store to read the reviews which were great but I saw some bad reviews about the cakes being stale and not fresh. My cravings got the best of me and I ordered despite some bad reviews. Man oh man was I happy I did. The brownie was delicious and moist. I hate hard dry brownies this place did not disappoint. I also ordered red velvet cupcakes. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it will be great! Thank you Layers!!🔥🔥“

“Maria’s Sans Rival cake lives up to the meaning of its name, undoubtedly unrivaled. It was made of sheets of chewy meringue loaded with crunchy cashew nuts, alternating with thick layers of “melt-in-your mouth” buttercream. “We had the best experience ever with this bakery - the cake was included in our venue pricing through this bakery, and I can definitely see why! Working with Alison to schedule and have our tasting, which was just down right fun...(because of COVID we had to take our samples home... and she loaded us up with some extras to share with friends) to showing her our vision for the cake on the day of, and then actually SEEING and EATING it at our wedding was perfect all the way through. They really incorporated everything we asked for, and it was simply delicious!!! “I ordered a specialty cake for my mother and it was FABULOUS! The cake was unique, 2 - tier choc and vanilla with a hazelnut cream filling. It was covered in a lovely lavender frosting with lace flowers and unique lettering. It was fresh and special!“

“I stumbled across this bakery after having a birthday dinner at Mas Tortilla a few blocks away. It was a great find.

I ordered a cappuccino, 2 Grand Opening cupcakes, and a box of macarons for my bf and I to share and it was all sooo good.

The cupcakes had a passionfruit icing/paste that I could tell was made with real passionfruit on the inside and the cake was the perfect texture and moisture level. As good as the cupcakes were though, the real star of the show was the macarons. They were out of this world. We tried one of every flavor and I was not let down. My favorites were the fruity pebbles and the earl grey.

“Sweet (no pun intended) little bakery in Kew Gardens. The shop is not big and the selection is not huge but what they have is very good. I took home two Guava Puffs which were very good. The Crust was sweet and grumbly and it was bursting with Guava. I also took home something I had never tried or seen elsewhere. It's called French Nut. This one was filled with Apricot. Mom and I split it and it was enough to fill us up due to its richness. It was ?. The prices are very reasonable. The lady working there was very helpful and pleasant.“

“They have a very generous portion of what we ordered of eggs and potatoes. Sometimes the place is packed. The area is quite small. Take out is better. And if it's not peak hours, dining in is okay too. Peak hours, don't expect to get a seat. Bagels and coffee are good.

Vegetarian options: They have a good selection for bagels and they serve toast and eggs and some vegetables.

Parking: Not a lot but people come and go and there's a good chance to get a spot.“

It looks so beautiful and has three layers of different flavors. Each layer has indescribable surprises. The first layer - matcha and strawberry, the freshness of the strawberries brings out the aroma of matcha; the second layer- black sesame coconut jelly, the mellowness of coconut jelly brings out the richness of black sesame; the third layer is mango fresh cream, the smooth cream brings out the sweetness of mango flavor. The cake itself tasted so soft and fresh. All of our guest praised it and felt satisfied. We finished the whole cake within 10 minutes. We will recommend it to all our friends.“

She was the only staff there that day where there was 7+ customers and still went well and beyond for me when I was pre-ordering a birthday cake. The boss over the phone was also very kind with going through the ordering process and Demi made sure we get everything accurate and helped tailored what flavors, layers, size, designs, and so forth that was recommended. “The cake was exactly what we asked for... It was beautiful and delicious. We got a layer with Matcha and another with Taro, both of which were flavorful. She uses light fluffy cream instead of fondant (THANK GOODNESS)... Definitely recommend if you're looking for a display cake that's moist/delicious.“
