“I really can’t say enough good things about Frank Guido’s Little Italy. From the owners, staff, food… everything. My family & I have shared numerous celebrations and dinners here over the years but nothing will ever top doing our wedding reception with them in May. The amazing service and care we received that night and leading up to it meant so much to us that it’s hard to even put into words how thankful we are. Special recognition to Marie who spent months talking with me, organizing, and making sure everything was perfect.. & it was!! Also, Amanda who made sure we were taken care of all night. “My wife Donna and I just enjoyed a fabulous Valentines Day dinner at Downtown Cafe. We have enjoyed Graziano's culinary artistry for 30 years now, (since the days of Mary Ps), and he just keeps getting better. My wife had the shortribs, and I had the sushi grade tuna with mushrooms and we enjoyed every bite. The service and atmosphere are the best. I would highly recommend the Downtown Cafe for a delicious, relaxing meal and great hometown atmosphere.“

“This little Italian restaurant was a delightful surprise. We went there because it had favorable reviews. We found out that it is under new ownership as of approximately 9 months ago, late in 2024. Carlos, one of the co-owners, greeted us, cooked our food, and checked to see that everything was all right several times. He is clearly very interested in pleasing his customers.
My husband is Italian and gives the quality of the food and the expertise of its preparation high marks. We ordered two appetizers, Caesar salad and bruschetta. The Caesar salad was delicious and big enough to share. The bruschetta had wonderful flavors, was delightfully presented on a board and the thing I like the best was that the toast was not too hard to bite into.
Finally, for our meals I had a chicken parmesan sandwich which was a reasonably large portion, and my husband had lasagna. We both enjoyed every bit.
The food is prepared while you wait, so it is not fast food at all. He makes everything from scratch.
If you go in in, prepare to relax, enjoy your food and give Carlos greetings from us!
Ps. We are not related and we live in Florida, so we won't be able to go back right away. But we were visiting the area and thoroughly enjoyed our meal.“

“First time here for a private party and i cannot say enough great things about not only the food but the staff also. By far one of the best upcoming restaurants in the Hudson valley. The pizza was so flavorful, fresh with perfect crust n that’s coming from someone whose family owned pizzeria for years. Another must have is the house made penelle which aside from my nonna making it I’ve never had in any restaurant. Last but not least the cannoli were some of the best I’ve had in months. This place is 1000% worth the drive from anywhere in the area. Will be coming back asap“

“I used to look forward to eating there. But the last two times I had the worst servers. One never came back to check after she dropped off my food. I had wanted a soda refill and another napkin, had to find her to get my check. Last night I came in and was told the kitchen was about to close so I needed to hurry up (I just sat down at about 9:25 pm). I ordered right away. An ice water and a coke and a meatball parm sub. I was lucky to get my soda with her attitude. No ice water was brought or acknowledged at all. I took a few bites of my food and she asked if I wanted a box. I was really irritated. “Came here not familiar or by a recommendation just looked up restaurants in Kingston and took a chance. Everyone at our table got something different and the dishes were cooked to perfection. “Hands down, the best BBQ chicken pizza I’ve ever had. My whole family loves it. It’s our favorite pizza spot because of it. Only downside is the parking and the staircase when you first walk in(because you can’t push the stroller up it lol) .Only poor experience I had here is , I placed an order, and paid over the phone and asked if they wouldn’t mind bringing it out to the door so I could pull up and not have to take my kids out of the car (with the baby in the car seat lugging that thing down the street & then back with a pizza box in your hands as well as your sons hand - it’s a lot- especially if you don’t get a close parking spot, it’s a busy street) but they said they no longer do curb side pick up…Not the end of the world just annoying.But as far as the BBQ chicken pizza goes - flawless.

Parking: Parking is hard , not a lot of places to park, it’s a very busy street.

Pizzas are generously sized, prepared with an abundance of toppings, and reasonably priced. The pizza is so good, I haven't explored the menu much. But they also sell ricotta cheesecake a delicately flavorful, mildly sweet, lighter-textured cheesecake. Genuinely Italian.“
