“Second time ordering take-out from here. They’re really friendly and have great service, but it’s not going to become my next favorite unfortunately. Food was okay, ordered cheese birria tacos which I thought would be cheese crusted rather than just some shredded cheese tossed inside.
The birria consome was great though! I think it was missing some salt but when combined with the tacos (as it should be) it was a perfect combination.
The place is small though, not a lot of seating space and the space that is available is a bit tight, so that ruins a bit of the atmosphere for me. But, for takeout nearby, I think it’s in the right neighborhood and deserves its round of applause.“

“I was a big fan of the fried fish taco (Californian?). I was very disappointed since it was replaced by Floridian. They don’t taste the same. Any chance to bring back the fried fish taco?“
“It's a street cart so atmosphere is Jamaica, but the tacos are great. Had bistec y pollo, with salsa verde, 2 for $8. That's pretty great nowadays. Service was very quick. They don't take card or Apple Pay, so only cash or Zelle. Will definitely be back.“

“Omg! Just what I was looking for! Since opening the new location, upgrades to the seating and big tv screens give this pace a wonderful atmosphere to eat in and enjoy! They have nintendo video games at each table with so many games for kids , teens and adults to choose from.while you wait .the food is delicious! I ordered the burritos, tacos and gauc with chips...omg...it was absolutely amazing..good portion sizes and great fast service..they also have shakesand specialty desert that are so creative! .this is definitely my new go to place, they have so much variety, burgers, tacos, wings..you can't go wrong! Go Here Nowww.....Thank me later ?

“I finally came here to try the famous crispy tacos, and my first bite was literally, “Whoa!” They were crispy, fresh, and so delicious. I also ordered a chicken bowl, which was very tasty with a generous portion.
I’ll definitely be back to try more items. I honestly don’t understand why the rating isn’t higher. Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, great food—a true hidden gem!“

“My favorite taco spot in all of New York. Their lengua tacos are absolutely insane. I love that they’re open past midnight. The hot sauce is HOT! Parking in this area can be annoying but I’m usually walking here so that hasn’t been a problem for me.“

“This place was amazing! The huaraches and sopes are made fresh right when you order, and you can really taste how good everything is. The salsas are super flavorful, and the tamarind water was so fresh and refreshing. Everything was very clean, and the service was excellent. “A very low-key Mexican place with amazing food. I thought I had had enchiladas before. I love them. But I realize—no. Not until I came here. Every enchilada I've had previously is now second best.
It is not fancy. To me it is not cheap. Good selection of Mexican lager.
The food took a few minutes. But this is NOT taco bueno. It seems family run and super authentic to this gringito. The service was excellent. (They spoke excellent, flawless English.)“

“Oh my god. SO good. We had some trouble finding them at first - a true hidden gem. A+ takeout spot, no notes. No frills, there is seating but it’s a casual deli.
Blows any other taco joint I’ve tried nearby straight out of the water. We’ll never go anywhere else now!!

“If you guys are interested in a very great Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwich for breakfast, NEJ Josefina’s is the best place to visit. $6.00 for a sandwich like this is not bad at all.
As a resident in the Elmhurst neighborhood, my family and I have been fighting a lot to find a great location for breakfast and lunch. Until my family members told us about this place telling me that their Bacon, Egg & Cheese Sandwiches are really good. In the block by where I live, there is a deli close to the Elmhurst Avenue Subway Station, and their sandwiches aren’t that great. According to a store employee, she told us that a breakfast sandwich like this costs you $8.00 each. And when she told us that, that’s when we said no. Not because we’re not interested, it’s because their sandwiches aren’t too great.
In my personal experience, I’ve tried their Carne Asada Quesadilla Combo. I have to say, they are so good. I like the fact that they not only make you a quesadilla, but they also include rice and beans and a canned soda priced at $12.79. A little bit expensive but it’s worth it. I still recommend this place. But the only thing that is not great is that the space is so small that you can’t even go through if you need to grab other things to buy while your food is being prepared.
I would definitely recommend coming to this place.“

“Cash only! I love this deli restaurant. They have seating indoors and tables outside if you ask. Portions are excellent and flavors are fantastic. I love how they have so many creative combinations for their tortas and burritos, and tons of different meat options. The gorditas are an absolute favorite here and the pozole is soooooo good - it’ll power you through the chilly days for sure. Tacos made with fresh tortillas, and if you order a large drink it’s literally a quart.If you’re into imported sodas and snacks too, they have a lot to choose from. We’re still working on eating our way through the menu and I’m having so much fun doing so.“
