“I love this place. It's such a delight each time I come here. The bakery items are delicious and I love the torta mista any time of the day (make sure to ask for it on the Portuguese bread). I also recommend the chorizo bread if you want something very savory. And you can't go wrong with their Pasteis de nata. When I bring a mix of their baked goods to the office people go nuts for it. I can hear the stampede coming once I send out the announcement. Oh! And the bread! Oh my goodness. Great for home but also as a nice item to bring to a dinner at someone else's house.“

“We decided to grab a quick breakfast. They have a full service menu and everything was delicious. Not pictured below or the crepe and The Omelette that we ordered because I forgot to take pictures and a few cool pictures from around the place to eatWe ordered the veggie omelette, and my daughter ordered it without the spinach. The eggs were cooked perfectly and we hopped for more onions but it was still great. My son ordered a Nutella crepe. Out of all the crepe places we've gone to he said this one wasn't his favorite.Vikki ordered a "bebe"it's a Portuguese role with ham and cheese on it. They butter the roles and it was really good.We ordered "galão" . It's a Portuguese latte for a American pallet. It was so good.... And wasn't bitter at all.“

“Foodie Paradise at Kabayan! ??If you're craving authentic Filipino food with a side of warm hospitality, Kabayan should be your top pick!Variety Galore: This place is a haven for indecisive foodies like me. The menu bursts with delicious options, from classic like Bulalo (tender beef shank in bone marrow broth) and Pancit Bihon (stir-fried glass noodles) to sizzling specialties like Sisig and Bangus Sisig (crisp pork or milkfish belly with onions and chilies). We also shared hearty plates of Chopsuey and Kalderetang Kambing (goat stew in tomato sauce), and none of them disappointed!Tastebuds Singing: Every dish was bursting with flavour. The Bulalo broth was rich and comforting, the Chicken Skewers BBQ were perfectly grilled with a sweet-savory glaze, and the Chopsuey was a vibrant medley of fresh vegetables and meat. I particularly loved the Sizzling Bangus Sisig – the smoky, crispy fish belly with onions and chillies was an absolute delight!Friendly Faces: The service was just as fantastic as the food. Our server, Ate, was incredibly friendly and helpful. She spoke Hiligaynon, which felt like a warm welcome from home. She patiently explained the menu and made sure we had a wonderful dining experience.Spacious & Practical: The restaurant itself is quite spacious, perfect for gatherings with friends and family. They even have a mini Filipino grocery store attached, so you can stock up on your favourite ingredients after your meal. ️Price Perfection: To top it all off, the prices at Kabayan are incredibly reasonable. You get generous portions of delicious food without breaking the bank.Final Verdict:If you're looking for a taste of the Philippines with excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere, Kabayan is a must-try! I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to experience authentic Filipino cuisine at its finest. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️P.S. Don't forget to try the garlic rice – it's the perfect accompaniment to any dish!P.P.S. Mabuhay, Kabayan! Salamat sa masarap na pagkain at mahusay na serbisyo!Parking: Heaps of parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp, and the door is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair.“

“This is about Tres Leche cake that I recently ordered. For full disclosure, I haven't tasted it but I am still giving this place a full thumbs up. Here is the context. We had our son's birthday and needed an urgent delivery order. He lives on Long Island while we are in Manhattan. He specifically asked for a Tres Leche case. I called Paisa Pan on the day of his birthday (around 11am) and asked if they could deliver it by end of the day. They promised the delivery by 2pm. It was actually delivered around 1:15pm. Our son absolutely loved it. These guys are terrific!!“

“I first had their delicious Portuguese rolls at Taormina Restaurant & Pizzeria in Commack & just had to ask where they were from. Even though the bakery is a bit out of the way, it was worth the drive for not only the Portuguese rolls but the person who was helping me recommended the rice pastry which was delicious. I also had to try a coconut macaroon which was also delicious. The person who was helping me was very nice and recommended, since I did buy a few rolls, that I freeze the rolls in a paper bag if they weren't going to be consumed right away & then to put them in the oven & they would taste just as fresh as if they baked them.“
