“Lisa, the owner of Torte Jeff has created one of my favorite bakeries. Any dessert I get is always fresh, creative, and delicious. I got European hot chocolate with my boyfriend during the ice festival, and I swear that it was the best hot chocolate I ever had. I also love her Morning Sunshine protein cookies after I workout.“
“I came here on a rainy snowy Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend to have a little Cafe date. There were a million pastries to choose from, and I wanted to try them all.I maintained some semblance of decorum and ordered a lemon bar, mini fruit tart, and a marzipan orange. My boyfriend had a couple of mini eclaires, a pignoli cookie, and a rainbow cookie. He also had a double espresso, and i ordered a cappuccino. Everything we tried was fresh and delicious! The cappuccino was average, nothing special, but good, cappuccino. “My husband and I got our gender reveal cakes made here and we were absolutely blown away! From our initial encounter, the girls at the shop were so friendly, accommodating, and excited to help. We explained what we had in mind, a vintage style heart shaped cake with the middle filling being pink or blue to reveal what our baby would be. They COMPLETELY nailed the cake & it was not only beautiful but it was so delicious. We also requested a second cake, their signature tarte style, but in a heart shape decorated either pink or blue to share with our family once the reveal was over. The tarte cake literally made me cry that’s how beautiful it was and the macaroons were out of this world! 10/10 recommend thecookieshop for any of your special occasion bakery needs!“

“We recently used Philly Pretzel Factory in Smithtown for a school event and ordered 750 pretzels from Craig. They were all individually wrapped and ready to serve. “I stop for coffee and ham/egg/cheese on a biscuit several days a week. The coffee is delicious, so is the Raspberry Lemon hot tea! Just as important, the entire staff is personable, genuine, and it’s always a pleasant and perfect experience. Jeff is a wonderful human being. He was very supportive with a fundraising campaign I am very passionate about; one that will help youth in our community. That showed me how much Jeff and Sweetwaters West Main matters for Smithtown!“
“This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! Food ranges from good to exceptional, but their pastries can be hit or miss. Drinks are consistently good in my opinion, my girlfriend is not a fan of their iced coffee which she thinks can be inconsistent. What keeps us coming back is the famous egg sandwich which is pickled to perfection and oh so yum! I don’t think they have enough tables and maybe would benefit from eliminating one or two of the benches to add 2-3 more tables…like a typical coffee house a lot of people seem to work from there and can linger for hours. Service is great. Parking can be tricky when it’s busy, there is a shared lot but it can fill up quickly.“
