Oh, the roof. That heavy, candy-laden beast of a gingerbread slab. I slathered on extra icing for reinforcement, but it wasn’t enough. The whole thing started sagging like a bad facelift. Desperate times called for desperate measures, so I grabbed the Nutella—because nothing says “structural integrity” like chocolate-hazelnut spread, right? I basically mortared the roof on with a thick layer of that glorious goo. For a brief, shining moment, it held. And then… catastrophe.
