This weekend's packages (8 pounds of family pack) "thin breast cutlets" were not so. Many were very thick, the length of each piece was aprox. 9" in length and some were as they should have been, thin and under 4 inches in length. The time before - same issue. All the prior times - PERFECT in length, thickness, and with the grain and not against. Thank you for reading this and hopefully improving your training and supervising (if applicable).“

“If only I knew Polish then I could write a review in the establishment’s native tongue. I wanted to branch out and try different cuisine. I wanted something sweet and decided try this bakery. It is as authentic in every way. All the items you see are made right there. Delicious pastries. My favorite are the danishes. They are full of flavor and not overwhelmingly sweet. The fruit tastes like a yummy marmalade you could lather on toast or a bagel. You actually taste the fruit and not a sugar additive. All kinds of goodies as well as some choice meats and bread of all sorts. Don’t go in hungry or you will come out with bags of stuff. It even offers fresh food such as blintzes, potato pancakes, soups, cutlets, and more. I sadly don’t speak any other language except English. Which is an issue in other ethnic shops. Here they do have workers who can communicate in English. But some not at all. But they are very polite and patient even as we work together by pointing out items. Again patience is worth it. I see local polish coming in and they are home. Which is always a great sign a place is legit. So if you want to cheat on your diet or give your taste buds a treat, come here.“

“Huge shout out to Torta Fina Bakeshoppe & Patisserie in Babylon! I went in with nothing more than a verbal description of a funfetti Bundt cake for my son’s graduation; no picture, just an idea; and they absolutely blew it out of the park.

Not only was the cake beautiful, but everyone is STILL talking about how delicious it was. Moist, flavorful, perfectly done, and honestly one of the best cakes we’ve had. They completely brought my vision to life and made the celebration even more special.

“Yum, had the Boston Cream Croissant and wow!! Delicious. My son got a baguette but it was cold and a bit dry so that was disappointing - maybe just bad timing, late in the day. Still had fun and enjoyed it. Not a fan of getting asked to tip on an experience where you literally serve yourself though, makes it weird. At almost $11 for a small pastry and a baguette I think they can afford to pay the staff enough to not need tips in an environment that really doesn't support it.“

“I had such high hopes for this gingerbread house. I mean, come on—it’s Christmas Eve, the vibes are immaculate, I’ve got my playlist of Mariah Carey on repeat, and I’m ready to channel my inner architectural genius. I carefully assembled the walls with what I thought was “premium” royal icing (spoiler: it was basically sugary Elmer’s glue). Looked sturdy enough at first. Cute little windows outlined in yellow, a sprinkle roof that screamed “holiday cheer.” I even added a gummy candy garden for that extra Pinterest touch. But then… ambition struck. The roof. Oh, the roof. That heavy, candy-laden beast of a gingerbread slab. I slathered on extra icing for reinforcement, but it wasn’t enough. The whole thing started sagging like a bad facelift. Desperate times called for desperate measures, so I grabbed the Nutella—because nothing says “structural integrity” like chocolate-hazelnut spread, right? I basically mortared the roof on with a thick layer of that glorious goo. For a brief, shining moment, it held. And then… catastrophe. The roof caved in with a tragic crunch, sending gummy bears flying like fleeing villagers. Walls buckled. Icing cracked. And there, in the wreckage, lies the smoking gun: a gingerbread T-Rex, smugly perched atop the rubble with its little candy eyes judging me. Clearly, this prehistoric monster snuck in during the night (or, you know, during my five-minute bathroom break) and went full Jurassic Park on my masterpiece. Look at it—head tilted, arms outstretched like “Who, me?” while the house lies in ruins beneath its feet. The Nutella? It just added a delicious, humiliating glue to the crime scene. Looks like after his scrumptious meal, the T-Rex marked his territory with a colosal dump!“
