It is as authentic in every way. All the items you see are made right there. Delicious pastries. My favorite are the danishes. They are full of flavor and not overwhelmingly sweet. The fruit tastes like a yummy marmalade you could lather on toast or a bagel. You actually taste the fruit and not a sugar additive. All kinds of goodies as well as some choice meats and bread of all sorts. Don’t go in hungry or you will come out with bags of stuff. It even offers fresh food such as blintzes, potato pancakes, soups, cutlets, and more. I sadly don’t speak any other language except English. Which is an issue in other ethnic shops. Here they do have workers who can communicate in English. But some not at all. But they are very polite and patient even as we work together by pointing out items. Again patience is worth it. I see local polish coming in and they are home. Which is always a great sign a place is legit. So if you want to cheat on your diet or give your taste buds a treat, come here.“

This weekend's packages (8 pounds of family pack) "thin breast cutlets" were not so. Many were very thick, the length of each piece was aprox. 9" in length and some were as they should have been, thin and under 4 inches in length. The time before - same issue. All the prior times - PERFECT in length, thickness, and with the grain and not against. Thank you for reading this and hopefully improving your training and supervising (if applicable).“

“I recently visited El Paisita Bakery in Brentwood with a longtime friend who was showing me around his old neighborhood. This bakery was not there when he was a kid, but it is now right next to Tony’s, which was one of his all-time favorite pizza spots. After enjoying a slice there, we walked over and treated ourselves to a frozen horchata. It was delicious, refreshing, creamy, and perfectly spiced with just the right amount of sweetness. The place has a warm and inviting vibe, and it is clear they put care into what they serve. El Paisita is a great addition to the neighborhood, and I am glad we stopped in.“

“I love this bakery but recently they decided to change the shape of their crumb bun. They used to bake them in a large tray and cut them ino rectangular pieces and they were up by the register. Now they are made round and in the glass case. The new crumb bun/cake does not taste as good, even though they say its the same recipe as the crumb bun itself.The rectangular shape. This round, one falls apart as you either cut into it or bite into it, and it doesn't have the same taste. Very disappointed that they change such a good thing.“
