“Oh my goshh the employees are so nice. Like extremely friendly and chatty I love it. So many vegan options and they also care to help me find out if something is vegan or not. Snacks and drinks are yummy and well made. The atmosphere is so cute and cozy and nice. Good crowd too, I always like going to a cafe and seeing people quietly studying or doing work or chatting at a good volume, stuff like that. It feels very community to me. Love it“

“This is a great coffee shop for studying, tho if you really need to concentrate, I'd recommend bringing headphones. While the food is a bit pricier, the ambiance is fantastic! They have all sorts of chairs to choose from, plenty of cushions, and even adjustable standing desks, which makes it very comfortable.

If the owners happen to see this, I'd suggest replacing one specific table that has some peeling veneer 😭 it just doesn't look very good. Otherwise, everything else is lovely. Their restrooms are also very clean, and there are even two mirrors inside to admire yourself! ❤️Throughout the afternoon, I saw many people comfortably studying, working, and chatting here. “I had such an amazing experience with 3 Little Pigs! I placed an Uber Eats order and one of the items I wanted was sold out. Instead of just canceling it, they actually gave me a call to explain the situation and help me adjust my order. On top of that, they went above and beyond by including a free pastry and even a free drink card as an apology for the inconvenience. I was honestly blown away by their kindness and thoughtfulness—it completely turned what could have been a small disappointment into such a positive experience. “Took two trips here on the same day to sample something for brunch and for lunch. For starters, the place is pretty big despite how the place looks from the entrance. The people working behind the counter were pretty cool, service was on point. For breakfast I had the Nutella Custard Croffle and a can of Celsius. The croffle was delightful for sure, pleasing to the taste buds though one small complaint...I don't think croffles are a good base for any sandwich because it was messy eating that, the croffle was kinda all over the place eating it.

Came back here for lunch after a few hours in the gym to order a Mocha Haze Power Smoothie and a Smoked Turkey Croffle. Croffle sandwiches here are delicious as a whole but they are very unstable and can leave a mess so as a note, ALWAYS ask for extra napkins. The smoothie was very good and filling too. I could see myself coming around here a couple more times, trying out as much of their expansive menu as I possibly could.“

“Capri is absolutely fantastic! The food is amazing, the service is warm and attentive, and everything came out so quickly.

We started with the fish tacos, mozzarella sticks, and tuna tartare—each one was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For the main, we had the rigatoni pasta, cooked perfectly and full of rich flavor. I also got the strawberry iced tea, which was refreshing, delicious, and a true 10/10!

Overall, Capri is a true gem. Delicious food, awesome service, and such a pleasant dining experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!“

“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“I’ve been to every local coffee shop you could think of within the radius of Oceanside to Long Beach. Without doubt this is THE best local coffee shop in the area. Small, quaint little hole in the wall type of shop next to the Oceanside train station that puts out THE best coffee and baked goods. The Pistachio Tiramisu was a total knock out, so so so so good. The owner Vish has to be one of the nicest people I’ve met as well. A hands on owner you can find behind the counter whipping up coffees or out on the patio engaging with his guests. Very nice spot I highly recommend coming here. Their cold brew is the best.“

“Located in Tangram mall, this Matcha Cafe Maiko location is a great stop for a sweet treat. They have a couple kiosks where you can order at, and service is relatively quick considering how popular it can get.

They have a variety of matcha and other Asian drinks and cold desserts. Every month, they also have specialty flavors. When I went, I got their matcha and lychee parfait while my friend got their matcha soft serve. The parfait had so many different kinds of toppings and the portion was generous. Love their soft serve and I will definitely be coming back. (Their quality is also pretty consistent across locations!)“

“I came here one morning to get some work done and it quickly became my regular spot for the past month. They have coffee and tea drinks as well as kimbap which is a great meal or snack for any time of day. There is wifi and a restroom (for customers only). It has never been too crowded except around lunchtime, and I am always able to comfortably find a seat. Lastly, the people who work here are so nice, and sometimes make conversation or offer a small treat depending on what they have available. I am recommending this place to my family when they come to visit, as it has definitely become my new fave!“

The pastries were also delicious, and the staff was more than happy to warm them up for us. “Great place for crazy cookie flavors, a little pricey and other than the everyday flavors the specialty flavors are more expensive. If you join their club you get a FREE cookie for your bday but only the daily flavors, specialty ones are not included and they should be, after all if it's your bday you should be able to pick what you like. Even though cookies are pricey they can be worth the try because I feel this is not a daily place but a nice treat once in a while.“
