“Nice little place for a coffee, a smoothie or a bubble tea. Nice owner everyone who works there is friendly. Decorated pretty. Haven't tried the food but will definitely the next time I go and believe me it's worth going back a few times“
“I walked in around 12 on Easter Sunday looking for a great cake to bring over my aunts house. I was looking for a place open that late and found a spot right near my house i never knew existed. I am so happy i found this bakery because the cake i purchased was outstanding! I will be coming back again for sure!! I was very impressed by how clean the bakery was and how kind the staff member was who helped me. I will be coming back!“
“This is a cute dog cafe if you want to bring your dog and have some coffee. Two different entrances to buy coffee and to enter with your dog. People there seem friendly and they have paper towels and spray if your dog pees. However, the place is fairly small. I would say having about 10 small dogs would be enough for them to run around? I was there when 2 big poodles, 1 corgi, and 2 other small dogs and my cavapoo who is about 12lbs. I wish it was a bigger space for them to run around ?Nonetheless, it's a cute space for a quick stop to have your dog have some playtime.“
“I went over the weekend to this restaurant following my sister's suggestion. I want to said that she was 100% correct when she claimed that the chicken was the best she had ever had. After trying I can also attest to it, the chicken coupled with crisp veggies and flavorful rice was a good choice. We also tried the sangria and it was pretty good as well.I am planning to come back soon as there are other dishes that I would like to try.At last, the staff was super friendly and willing to please....Kudos to this new neighborhood restaurant!“
“Incredibly homey service and atmosphere!! Everything was delicious and very fresh. The dips and platters were absolutely unforgettable, vibrant flavors and amazing balance in taste — not a single complaint first time going! (those lemon potatoes are nothing less than mind blowing) Everything tasted completely authentic and don’t skip on the Greek hot coffee, made over sand and very rich tasting. The deserts also were an extremely satisfying end to a meal, being very rich and delectable. Service was wonderful, giving all customers a friendly and comforting welcome, making everything feel natural and inviting.“
“Discovered this place accidentally. I was craving coffee and wanted a beach day, so happy I came here.? phenomenal mocha! Loved every sip! Truly woke me up and made me smile.?I got the large mocha with oat milk?I got the spinach pastry , it was alright.? great ambience and atmosphere? phenomenal decor! Would love to come here and spend more time here.? very spacious and clean, different places to sit and enjoy.? the lady in the front was new , but very nice.Overall highly recommend(I also matched this place by accident…it was meant to be).Vegetarian options: Options availableDietary restrictions: Gluten free Options available“
“My absolute favorite coffee shop!! I am in the hard bean at least twice a week and I have had nothing but great experiences! The coffee is consistently good, and the food items are always fresh. The service is outstanding and the staff is always kind and attentive. I typically bring my laptop and stay for a while to get some work done, and this is a great place to do so. The WiFi is great and the atmosphere is always very calm. I love that when I go I am supporting a local family business that is hardworking and dedicated to what they do. I also got the punch card and my 8th coffee was free! Great touch for frequent flyers in the Merrick area. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some good coffee in Nassau county!“
“Compass Cafe is a light in the neighborhood, it is set apart. From the outside to the inside you can feel a difference. The workers are so nice and friendly. The options are limitless. They always have great new and fun ideas for every season! It’s fully missioned based…where else can you find that? Compass and Hope are my home!“
“I ordered delivery through Uber eats last night and I was definitely impressed with presentation of food.. chirashi was beautifully presented as you can see in the picture and fishes were very fresh.. they could provide bit more rice though.. this is the smallest rice I ever seen in chirashi. Also, I ordered spicy salmon maki but they sent regular salmon maki which wasn't a huge deal but still bit disappointed.“
“The environment in this cafe was calm and relaxed. This is a great place for you to finish up any work you need and the type of music gives a nice cafe vibes. The food I order was good and I would definitely order again. The mayo spam kimbap was flavorful and I devoured that meal like in five minutes. I would totally recommend this cafe.“
“What a bright and open space to work in! Their brewed coffee is perfect — strong but not overwhelming or burnt. Also got their vanilla latte which was a perfect combination of milk for coffee. Their teriyaki chicken sandwich was yummy; it wasn’t too dry. Highly recommend!“
“Came here for the first time and wow!! So delicious so clean and I was greeted and helped by Edward who was absolutely amazing and so friendly!!! He made the best recommendations for us. This is now officially going to be my go-to boba tea spot from now on ?????“
“My main local hangout since I was 15! If you're a vegan, gluten-free or whatever, this place has got you covered! They have a great food selection and an amazing coffee/tea selection too! Try the awesome deserts as well! Atmosphere is that of gothic/punk east village right here closer to home! Tell them "Gordo" sent you!“
“Everything is so fresh and homemade! The guac is a must-have. Each portion is made to order. They even put the pit in there to prove to you that each order has a full avocado in it that they just cut open! My family loves this place and we are regular visitors. One of our favorite local small businesses!“
“I had never had good donuts before. Yes, I've had regular donuts from coffee shops but not like this. This donut shop definitely sets a bar. Their donuts are made fresh and to your liking per order (so yes, there is a bit of a wait if they are busy) but its worth the wait.“
“Wanted a nice cup of velvety not too sweet strong coffee! Found this gem and the Lady up front so sweet! Recommended a macchiato. Got the vanilla flavor and she made it perfect! So happy found another coffee spot that is worth the beans for your bucks! And service too!“
“This is a very cute shop, my hubby and I took a long drive here but it was well worth it. The minute I walked in, I was so happy seeing and smelling their delicious mochi donuts. They have a delicious selection on teas as well. If I lived closer, I'd go there every day. The service was great, the woman who helped us was so kind and friendly.“
“Found this place when looking for a new cozy coffee spot. My boyfriend lives in Flushing so this was close enough for us to drive to, and the crepes looked so good. We came in on a cold snowy day, and immediately felt the warmth of fresh coffee and sweet fluffy crepes. We also got a croissant sandwich which was one of our favorite breakfast foods lately. The owner, George, was so friendly, and we spent a while just chatting to him about shared interests and family life.If you’re looking for a welcoming place to enjoy some great food, yummy coffee, and where you’re supporting a small business instead of a corporation, Maillard is for you. Worth the drive even from Long Island. We’ll be back soon!“
“My mother has been a patient for years. I'm very grateful/ lucky to have such an amazing/ caring/ dedicated professional team, helping my mother manage her pain with treatment/medications. Dr. Ji Han and the entire staff are amazing professionals, knowledgeable. Thank you for always making sure, that my mother receives the best care tailored to her specific medical needs.“
“Lovely welcome by hostess and owner and waitesss which set the tone for our brunch today Had the Rothschild breakfast which was delicious especially with my double order of labne! My husband had the Ahi Tuna burger which was also very tasty Will definitely be back!“
“Bring back the original yogurt with granola and berries please! The new container is smaller and has more plastic so it’s harder to mix everything. There’s also less fruit and the granola is different too! The lemon and peach infused choices don’t hold a candle to the original formula. Keep them for customers who like them AND bring back what was always selling out ?“
“I've been coming here for about eight months consistently, and there is a reason why - it is by far the best local coffee shop in the area! It's very spacious, the drinks are delicious, and the employees here are exceptionally cordial. The atmosphere changes depending on the time of day - it's usually relatively quiet earlier in the day, which makes it a great place to work or study. It picks up around 3 p.m., where you can find groups of friends hanging together or playing the board games Coffee Monster has available. The cafe is a clean environment (which includes its bathroom!), reliable WiFi, and plenty of outlets to charge your devices. I've got no critiques to give - if I could give Coffee Monsters six stars, I would!“
“Excellent food, excellent concept, excellent service Very expensive Valet parking is a rip off $8 was added to the bill In addition to giving the valet Parker's a tip, I had to pay tax for parking and the restaurant tip was based on the bill total The parking charge should have been a separate charge“
“I found Java Day Cafe while out in Queens this past Monday. I had a few hours to kill in between meetings and was looking for a cafe to WFH. At the owners recommendation, I ordered The Frenchie, as well as two hash browns (hey don't judge, I was starvin marvin!). The Frenchie consisted of 2 pieces of delicious cinnamon french toast with sausage, egg and cheese nestled inside. I washed it down with a delicious large coffee with almond milk. I chose a table by the window, which had 2 outlets below, so I was able plug away on my laptop and enjoy my food, with no low battery stress. I ended up having three coffees during my stint there and lucky for me, their bathroom was super spacious and clean... love that! All in all, happy to have stumbled upon this awesome Flushing/Auburndale gem!“
“Please remember to bring CASH ? ? for tips. Unfortunately, they only take cash for tipping the servers. Apart from that, everything is great about this place. I've eaten here several times in the last 7 years and ordered delivery when I've been a patient at NYU. Each time the meals have been delicious, the service is impeccable ?? and I leave satiated and truly satisfied. This last visit, I ordered the flank steak, and it was done perfectly and seasoned well. Remember... bring CASH!!! Although their are ATMs ? next door, you can avoid the fees if you just remember that I specifically reminded you to bring CASH!!! ? ? ? ?#LocalGem #GreatDiner #theresthatfoodie“
“The dessert here is yummy! The mochi taiyaki is a must get. So warm and chewy. The outside kinda reminds me of a croissant. The red bean filling was a surprise. We also got a match shaved ice. While it was shaved ice it was also very creamy when eaten. I would definitely come back for the mochi!“
“Very cute, quaint, chill spot for all ages. Depends on what you’re looking for. Saw a few mothers on “play dates” or shall I say “Mommy & Me dates,” all very accommodating. If you’re going for a drink or coffee, it’s a great spot. Have several outlets in some of the seating areas, which allows ease for working remotely as well. I just put my headphones to be able to concentrate more. Not a rowdy place at all, as I mentioned super chill. Staff doesn’t bother you and you can stay as long as you want. Had the matcha latte, and it was unsweetened, which I appreciated as it’s more natural and I can sweeten to my own liking. Love the ambiance and decor, would go back! Oh, and I saw they have live music on Friday evenings, would love to check that out.Parking: 1-2 hr lotted and street parking“
“Disappointed to find out on Easter Sunday they did not have cookies available when they opened at 9am, they weren’t available till 11am why is that? Instead they offered crookies, the latest trend cookie stuffed in a croissant. It was more croissant tasting than the cookie, taste was confusing, and I really wanted to taste more of the cookie than the buttery croissant. It’s not all that, I was underwhelmed. I had bought 4 to try since I made the trip, I was left with 2. I was so put off ( butter from the croissant was over powering) I threw them out. Odd hybrid. Just stick with your perfected creative cookie creations.“
“This is a fun, cute, clean, surprisingly spacious cafe. They have special drinks and desserts posted near the cashier. The einspanner is great 9/10. Thick foam on top of coffee. It's less sweet than other cafes which I like. The mango bingsoo is real shaved ice, super soft, with mango syrup, sweet fresh mango, and ice cream on top. It's enough for two people. 8/10. Eat it in the cafe, don't do delivery. The matcha injeolmi cream latte is coffee with matcha flavor and some soy bean flavor. It is creamy, nutty, with hints of green tea flavor. 8/10. It will last until the next day in the fridge. There is a lot of seating in this place and there is an extra outdoor area at the back.“
“Easily the best coffee shop in Whitestone, maybe even Queens. Their cold brew is my personal favorite drink but the whole menu is superb. The staff cares about patrons and it shows in their demeanor. This place is the real deal. Check it out if you’re in the area! Also they play amazing music ?“
“Love this local spot. We stop here regularly and have never had a bad donut, the coffee and lattes drinks are also super creative and also are delicious. The workers here are always super nice and friendly, and the atmosphere is just positive. Once we went in and they made fresh donuts plain for our toddler (we’d helped ourselves to the sugary creations) when they noticed we hadn’t gotten her anything. Love this local spot!“
“This is a really cool spot! Stopped by for the first time (ordered on their app ahead of time which made it SO quick & convenient) and can’t complain. The coffee is a solid 9/10, got the rainbow cookie cold brew with chocolate foam on top. It was delicious!I was disappointed in the egg & cheese on an English muffin though. It was kinda like an egg cake (?) it was really thick and the English muffin wasn’t toasted and really chewy. But for $5 it wasn’t that big of a deal.Would definitely come back and try some of their other drinks!!“
“Bean House is easily one of the best cafes in this area. I hope they expand because whenever I am here, it’s always packed! The coffee is delicious, I think I’ve tried 6 different variations now and they’re all amazing. The ambiance is cozy and I love their baked goods in the front. Smoothies are also really good and their honey toast is a nice treat. Highly recommend“
“This coffee shop is such a calming environment. Beautiful to say the least. The matcha latte was had was made very well. However I subtracted a star bc there is no wifi. Maybe they are trying to deter people from working there but I found that “
“I love everything about this cafe! The staff are super friendly, the atmosphere is cozy, and the coffee is amazing. I get a latte every day, and it's always perfect. The blueberry muffin and blueberry cheese danish are delicious too. Haven't been to Starbucks since I found this place and don't plan on going back anytime soon! Obsessed !“
“Service is great and SUPER friendly. but lets talk bout the sweets !!! They are INSANE!!! the carrot cake is unreal!! my latest sweets obsession is the macaroons !!! and they are the perfect Valentine's day gift !! perfectly wrapped for Vday too !! got the lg box for my daughter and 5 small boxes for nieces and MIL.. LOVE THEM !! THANKS DOLCE!!!“
“I miss you guys so much!!!!! Since I lost my job due to covid/getting a brain tumor I can't afford you guys anymore, nor get to you..... every one that works there was always nice to me,and held the door open for me because I was a nanny and always had a stroller lol. I miss the Greek restaurant. I miss the pizza place, and the bakery, the pharmacy....rvc people are just real. I miss it. Kookaburra made me feel like family so thank you guys. And I remember a man who would sit outside every am Joe I hope he is well.“
“Super friendly and patient staff! My kids were so indecisive but the staff offered a tasting to help my kids decide! We finally ended with rainbow ice, mango and coconut and vanilla flavors! There is a Sandy backyard and a lot of fun for kids!“
“I am giving the cashier a five star because their very pleasant Atmosphere is always clean. for the ones who prepare The meal in the back I don’t like the fact that they are angling phone, money while wearing gloves. You are preparing food take off the gloves whenever you’re about to handle MONEY. Phone is so bad but still u should’ve to because you’re the cook that’s a NO NO“
“Great place to enjoy meals with friends, family or solo. Friendly and efficient staff.Lots of delicious food and drink offerings.I've never been disappointed with the food.Vegetarian options: Fresh vegetable & fruit drinks to die for.Kid-friendliness: Very relaxed and comfortable seatsWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“My family and I have been coming here from the day the doors opened. And the service and products have remained impeccable. Every time I go I’m greeted with a smile and most times they already know my order. The thing I love the most is actually everything! Keep up the great work. A forever customer ?“
“A brunch spot the Long Beach area needed for sure! There is nothing really like this in Long Beach yet - a place to go and get a nicer brunch with family or the girls on a weekend. Definitely a great sit down breakfast option. We had to wait for about 25 minutes on a Saturday around 10am but once we sat down service was fast and efficient. They also have the app that tells you your spot in line so we could go run some errands while we waited! I got the Delancey street omelet with no tomatoes. It was a very good omelet (a little overcooked in the eggs but pretty standard with diner food) and I got sweet potato fries and rye toast on the side which were the stars of the show! I don't normally like sweet sauce with my fries but their sauce was amazing too. My boyfriend got the domingo tacos which were a bit mushy but overall good flavor. The fresh squeezed OJ was fantastic - highly recommend and the espresso was good as well!! If you want a sweet breakfast all of their French toasts coming out looked to die for. All in all I would come back for sure. It was very busy on the weekend! Good vibe and seemed like it is the new brunch destination for a lot of the island.“
“I called this morning and spoke with Maryann about my food allergies. I decided to try 3 Towns Cafe for the first time. It was less than a 20-minute walk from my house. The ambiance was perfect for brunch, lunch, and dessert dates. Soup of The Day *Ask for a sample* Beef Barley Soup + Oyster Crackers: I loosened the tight lid slowly to avoid spilling the soup. The beef barley soup was hearty. Health Shots Hot Shot: The hot shot (2oz) was spicy because of the cayenne and the black pepper. It gave me a good kick. Crêpe or Croffle Ham & Cheese Croffle: The ham & cheese croffle was flaky and yummy. Bakehouse I bought these nut-free baked goods below. Apple Turnover: The apple turnover was flaky and yummy. The apple filling was sweet. Fudge Brownie: The fudge brownie was chocolaty and yummy. Gelato "Last Drop" Gelato Special (Pumpkin Spice) + mini sugar cone: The gelato tasted like a slice of homemade pumpkin pie. This was my favorite. One word: Scrumptious Maryann, thank you for providing excellent customer service! FYI, I downloaded the Clover app to earn rewards! Bookmark this spot to try!“
“Celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday with 5 of her friends. The service is always excellent, but today they were exceptional with helping make the breakfast special. We never feel like children are a problem there. Well spaced and of course the food is great. Thank you Kaitlyn and sorry I didn't catch her name, but the manager on duty. we appreciate you!“
“A very good place to try. Service is great and the atmosphere is calm. The creamy tomato soup is a favorite. For two people ordering meals along with a side soup and hot chocolate, the total was under $20. I ordered lunch for breakfast. Right next to the long island railroad woodmere stop.“
“I wanted to give 3 stars but the employees were nice and the overall atmosphere/set-up of the menu was convenient. Very good pricing transparency too between the standard and premium donuts. They also have a donut bar.My friends have commented favorably on the rainbow cookie donut although they did not have that this weekend. I had the black and white plus the cinnamon bun while my partner got the Boston cream and the maple bacon. They were good overall. However, the presentation/structure of the donuts were less than ideal. Prices were good (base $3.50) but the Boston cream was basically two holed donuts with cream slathered in between. This was very awkward and difficult to eat. The cinnamon roll donut based on the photo looked like it was a solid one and not a holed pastry. They pipe the cinnamon icing over the hole. I found it too sweet and the ratio of pastry to icing is off given the fact it's done on top of the hole. They should utilize the donut shape without the hole for some of these flavors instead of doing it on top, since this leads to a full bite of icing.Donuts otherwise were good and excellent flavor assortment. I just would recommend they change how they structure the donuts with more icing!Parking can be tough around here since it's by the train station. Would likely need to pay for it on the meter without a permit.“
“I visited this restaurant today with my mom, mother-in-law and 10 month old today. I have been here numerous times in the past but I cannot say enough how wonderfully they treated us today. I’m not sure who the first man was (perhaps the owner/manager not sure) but right away he asked if my son would like strawberries. He then brought over fresh strawberries cut up and when he finished that bowl, he brought over another one without us even asking. I felt bad because most of the strawberries did end up on the floor but the man cleaned them up telling us not to worry about a thing. I had ordered my son a cheese crepe and when it came out, it again was cut into small pieces for him. When we were leaving I personally thanked the chef because I thought it was just so thoughtful of him. He then proceeded to tell me the next time we come in we can ask to add anything we would like into the crepe for my son. This was just such a wonderful experience and the food was delicious to top it off! I will definitely be going back!!!Kid-friendliness: They were so welcoming to my 10 month old! Everyone was so sweet and patient!“
“Had a sweet tooth craving and decided to visit Lulu and Dino. ☺️ First impression of the place, it is decorated beautifully, charming, outdoor patio great for meeting friends to have a chat over coffee, lunch or dessert. The staff are super friendly. We ordered the one serving pistachio mousse. Don't underestimate its portion size. It comes with a full blast of flavors (though a bit on the sweeter side for me), richness and very smooth. Totally enjoyed our dessert. Will be back to test their coffee on my next visit.Keep up the good work!“
“Wonderful ice cream for humans and our canine baby! We stopped for a treat earlier, tasted coconut, German chocolate and raspberry ice cream . Fantastic fresh with natural flavors. Friendly service and especially catered to our boxer Izzy.“
“It was clean and everyone who works there is nice. It is in a busy area traffic wise, but it is a great place for crussaunts and cookies. I do not recommend their lemonade though because it is very tart. But over all it is a great 4.6 star restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Very friendly to all kids but in a traffic busy area of Malverne.“
