My fiancé and I were talking to the owners and learned that opening a coffee shop was Victor’s dream. After working at his previous career for almost 30 years, he retired and opened this place. It’s charming inside and the coffee is delicious and less expensive than *$s. They are literally a mom and pop shop and after spending some time there I wanted to post to support and recommend Hard Bean to all the locals.“

Maybe one of the cleanest looking restaurants I have ever scene.
Very nice ambiance.
Food was yum, we got truffle fries, penne aka vodka, the cauliflower, and mozzarella sticks, and pizza.
Got a salad that was ehh but they took it back no problem, really good service.
Bathroom was also very nice, fresh smelling…..

“We stopped here randomly on our way back from the Hamptons to New Jersey and we had one of the best service experiences we have ever had at a restaurant. Our server was personally invested in making sure we had the best experience in any restaurant ever!

The menu is all Indian with lots of non-veg and vegetarian options. They offered to customize anything on the menu we wished for and made food without onion garlic for me. The food was very fresh and tasty. We ordered Alleppey fish curry and Palak Paneer with Kerala Poratta. Rice was complimentary.

“We've been to Pilar Coffee Bar twice now and each visit has been amazing! The iced fall pumpkin spice drinks are fantastic, and the breakfast we had today was delicious — the breakfast sandwich with sweet bacon and the veggie omelette were both excellent.

What really stands out is the owner, Justin, who goes out of his way to be nice and welcoming. He makes the whole experience feel extremely warm and inviting. This is officially our new go-to coffee spot!“

“ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Service was incredible i walked in while the store had a good amount of people, i saw 2 employees and thought id never get my order. As i order this kind young man helps me decide what bowl i want (he was very generous btw), you can fully optimize yours for your liking. After i finished paying, it was mostly just me there waiting for my food so the young boy says theyll have it out in a couple minutes so a check my phone and then boom order in my face (mind you they were making a lot of orders). I forsure thought it was premade and left out or something but when i tried it it was soooo good the nutella was still gooey and warm while the base was still frozen and refreshing and all the fruits were so fresh! I wish i took a picture cus the presentation was everything but i couldnt help but eat it :( . Nonetheless, Service was amazing, the young boy was really sweet and had a nice white smile, the tall young boy made my bowl with love, and overall my experience was one of the best in all of my fast food experiences.
