“First time here, I googled around for breweries and this was one of the places to pop up so we decided to give it a try. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating, parking on premises. Some games. They have really tasty beer, theu also make cocktails and have live music. Great atmosphere! I would definitely recommend.“

Stephany, Heather, took such good care of me - made sure I knew the specials , that I approved the wine recommendation which had notes of everything I like, the doorman called me madam, the food runner was efficient 😄 it felt like I stepped into a scenic villa of a Bond movie! The quiet, romantic atmosphere of the tavern was perfect for my evening reading, taking my time with my meal and wine. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth-savoriness but I have take a moment for the dessert .
I'm originally born and raised in Oregon. Apple picking, canning is a part of the regional culture and it puts you in the Autumn spirit. I HAVE NEVER seen or experienced a dessert like this - the attention to detail, realism so much that it looked untouchable, nostalgic feel, touch of crispy pumpkin nuttiness to offer a different layer, THE PIE CUSTARD FILLING and mousse! I giggled to myself as I ate it, thankful that it wasn't an ordinary apple pie because I felt transported back to my childhood. It was FABULOUS. Ortez or Obec, please forgive me for forgetting the chefs name. Thank you thank you thank you for your artistry and expertise.

“I had lunch here today with my family. The food was absolutely amazing! You would never think of Greenwood Lake as a town to get awesome Pan Asian food but The Local 112 is da bomb!“

It certainly was as it was like stepping in time warp and going back to 1970's america, you want lol corn its a quarter, want to play pool yep it's a quarter great atmosphere friendly locals this place as I understand is only open on a Friday but do yourself a favor and have an experience“

“An unusual "dive bar" in a very unusual town?. It's unusual because it's primarily a black dive bar with a white owner?. She's a sweetheart and I love the place. This town Middletown NY is a unique place I love it! Drinks are good..music is good“
“Wow! So glad I tried someplace new! My friend recommended going to watch a performer and maybe a new summer hangout, and it was GREAT! The singer was amazing , there are different levels and rooms (pool table, which many places don’t have ) the outside patio is new and huge with nice big tables … and the bartender that night, DEB…. Wow’ the place was packed, she never skipped a beat and kept everyone happy! My new Fav place♥️ 🍻“

“Finally made it to the new location today with hubby. We sat at the bar and spoke with John. I have to say what a beautiful place John has built here. Beers were cold and the burger was delicious. Spacious indoors and beautiful wrap around porch with seating. Definitely will be visiting again. Oh and plenty of parking. 🍻👏🍔“

“Finally got to Hook & Reel!! Great vibe, great food! We sat at the bar and enjoyed Danielle’s company. Rob, was an incredible insight to the short history of this restaurant and is wonderful. We chatted about the history of this type of venue in Middletown and how to survive. He gets it. While chatting, his head was on a swivel, watching his guests and crew. Rob spoke so highly about his crew, you would think they were family. I am so glad I went and enjoyed the family atmosphere. Well done team!!“

“We had a 70th Birthday party for my dad this past Saturday and I have to tell you Valarie and her staff were super accommodating. The food was outstanding and so was the service. If you are looking to have a party or just go to dinner you need to go here.“

“Usually, when dining at The Horse & Sulky, the service is fast. This pastime, it took a good hour to get our food. We did go on a Friday night. Our server was very courteous and attentive. The food is delicious no matter what I have had there. The portions are plentiful. Enjoy!“

“I had my wedding reception here on 11/22. The food was AMAZING, the loft looked gorgeous, the bar tenders and bus boys were so helpful and lovely. The bar tenders made sure my husband and I had plates of food so we remembered to eat. People kept complimenting the venue to me. Marie was amazing to deal with and I cannot think of a single thing that I would change or complain about.“

“We ate there on a Sunday evening. Totally recommend eating here instead of the LEGO restaurants. Especially if you have a dietary restriction. For us it is for one who requires Gluten Free and they said the burgerbun was delicious. We all agreed the fries were awesome. And I certainly recommend the Portobello mushroom roasted red pepper pesto panini.
One feature I didn't like were the vast about of TV's on the walls beyond the bar area.“
“Jesters restaurant and pub is a great place to stop off for a decent dinner, lunch or drink while your kids are going bananas at the Castle Fun Center. Decent food and drinks..theres an ax throwing thing in the bar that looked like a lot of fun but like everything else at this whole establishment, it will cost an arm and a leg.“

“We had our wedding here on 10/4/25 and it was absolutely incredible! The venue itself was gorgeous and had such a great charm to it. All of our guests couldn’t stop complimenting us on how great it really was. Our photographer kept saying how good a place to take photos it was. Obviously we had high expectations for this night and it was exceeded. My wife said that it was so much better than she had ever dreamt it could be. The staff went above and beyond and made our special day as stress free as can be. Elaina and Steven were fantastic! Everyone was, but unfortunately I only wrote down those two names so apologies to anyone else who may have been working this event but THANK YOU to everyone. Friendly and patient staff I can’t recommend this place enough. The food was incredible and the beers were cold. They accommodated us so well and we are extremely thankful. If you’re looking for a place to host an event this is it! Or if you’re just looking to grab a drink and a bite this is also the place to go. Thank you to everyone at Clemson for making this the best night of our lives!!“

“Just had lunch at Copper Barn. Had the avocado soup....soooo good!! My husband and I both had a turkey BLT on a panini. Took half of mine home so I could have a piece of their sour cream coffee cake (the best!). With all that said, the icing on the cake was the server, Shanelle. She was informative, personable and sweet with a great sense of humor!!! Thank you Shanelle and Copper Barn for a great lunch!!😊😊“

“Very cute interior! We got excellent service for just one person working the whole place 😂 kudos to her! Found out later she was an owner (some guy said it to his table nearby) so thats pretty cool. The bev choices were great and the food was DELICIOUS! Overall, 10/10!“

“Barrel 28 is a wonderful place to have an event in their private room. We recently had our daughters bridal shower there. Everyone raved about the food, which was wonderful. The wait staff was amazing, very friendly and attentive. All other staff we interacted with were also great. Would definitely recommend Barrel 28 for your next party“
