They provide really good lunch specials. They are always changing based on the day, but they never disappoint. The portions are decent, especially when it’s $10 and it includes a beverage. The only I would say I don’t like is the extra charge when it comes to paying with debit/ credit card, but still nothing to complain about.
Just recently discovered this local gems in Jackson Heights. I was doing daily exercise walks the nabe, when I bumped into a menu of El Rumbero. They have a great Week Day Lunch Specials (entree, soup & a drink) + affordable. I'm looking forward forward to out check the other selections on their Lunch Special Menu. Simple but yummy food.

This place gets 3 stars beware of service fees that do not included gratuity when paying with a credit or debit card. The bartenders have no clue about making drinks. It’s definitely a time warp in there. The owner is always nice to the guest but he doesn’t speak English and neither do a lot of the workers. I have only been for drinks no food. It’s a cool spot for a quick drink and some old school Latin music.
