Golden Corner Noodles 黄金角 (温州小池), also known as Camellia Family Inc. or Huang Jin Jiao, is an authentic Wenzhou spot known by real Chinese foodies. The noodles are super fresh and handmade, with a new renovation that reminds of home in China. Staff is super friendly, and the food is honestly too affordable for the quality of yumminess. The spareribs noodles are really good, with bouncy noodles, tender meat, and flavourful broth. The sweet sticky rice roll comes with “you tiao” and black sesame, and the sticky rice rice—only offered two days a week in the morning—is GREAT, with a collision of simple ingredients like sticky rice, crunchy youtiao, scallion, xiami, and soy sauce. The wonton is also great, rich but not overwhelming. The beef noodles are very delicious, cheap, and large portions. Vegetarian options include cold bean sprouts, kelp, celery, lotus root, and snow peas. The cold sweet soy milk is refreshing, though youtiao and soy milk are mediocre. The vegetarian duck was okay but a bit water-logged. They are well-known for their fish cake. Parking has lots of free spaces behind the restaurant. This restaurant has another location in New York Food Court, stall #23. Call before visiting as hours are not always up to date.
