“Amazing food! Although I ordered takeout this restaurant serves the best chips with guac hands down in all of NYC! the churrasco steak was 4/5 just because I was expecting a different taste but the steak was juicy nevertheless the rice and beans tasted really good. Other reviews are probably fake because my food tasted just fine I have nothing bad to say concerning this resteraunt definitely be ordering delivery again sometime soon“

“They are the best pupusas outside of El Salvador that I’ve ever had.
The curtido is fantastic.
Pupusas are fresh, and super tasty. My favorites are the Pumpkin Flower and Huitlacoche. Great place if you’re a vegetarian, and the meat options are also fantastic.
Now, they sell a really good horchata. And the large horchata is HUGE. A steal for 7 bucks (in NYC).“

“Great Latin food! While the owners are Salvadorans, the menu gives a good representation of how tasty Latin food in general really is. The staff is always helpful, there is usually a table available for everyone and the place closes late. Just a great old school Latin restaurant. My wife and I love Bahia!“

“Amazing homemade food. So many dishes made fresh daily, and as things finish, they have a fresh batch ready to go. The ladies behind the counter are very helpful, and cheerful. Always happy to stop by and get breakfast when I'm in the mood for something fresh and homemade.“

“I have had a CANGREJOFONGO. It is mashed fried green plantain with crab meat. It tasted very well. No other place nearby makes this. It is prepared from scratch. It may take a while. The taste is worth the wait.I have had 3 pupusas with cheese and loroco. The tomatoe sauce has a great taste. The curtido also tastes good.I have also had a beef soup. This is so well cooked. The meat fell off the bone. They offered green hot sauce but it was not needed.I will continue coming here. They also do deliveries.“

“Good Salvadoran flavor, their typical dishes really taste like our land. The pupusas here are delicious and well done!
I think that the atmosphere and appearance of the place needs to be improved as it seems a little run down in appearance. The place could use a makeover to elevate its category, but I must emphasize that the food is definitely very good.“

“I was here once when someone took me, I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in; I couldn’t remember what I tried last time so I got Tostadas.
I do NOT do reviews but this food was so good I need them to have more recognition! The pork was so juicy and flavorful , all the toppings tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned PLEASE stop buy because I couldn’t believe they weren’t packed I enjoyed my meal and hope to try more there“

“I’m sure everything here is good but the corn tortilla quesadillas are so great they’re all I order. I’m a world-class eater but can’t quite finish off the platter with three quesadillas! Res en adobo, chorizo, pastor are all consistently great filling options. Nice people, no frills decor.“

“Well, I speak for myself and my daughter, we really enjoyed it when we went to El Salvador.
Kid-friendliness: Well, the place is very safe for neither and the environment is the same. And there are chairs for the children

“This cool place makes me feel I’m in El Salvador. The music they play overhead, the strong ac as it’s hot and humid outside, the ambience inside, the wide mirror, green color walls, clean wooden benches lining the walls, and their authentic delicious puspusa is excellent. My husband and I just love this place. The guy who served our meal is sensitive or understands that we needed 2 spoons for the soup. Overall, I recommend to try this place and I give 5 stars for making me so welcome and cool and rested. The price is also reasonable.“

The Carne asada was juicy and flavorful, the natural drinks were authentic, service was amazing, ambiance was clean and colorful. family friendly environment....I could go on and on... but it's better you just try it yourself to see what I'm talking about 👍 🇸🇻 🇺🇸“

“Food is always consistently delicious. I’ve ordered their food but when I’m on the go, I order their mix pupusas. And let me tell you, these people don’t mess around. They make sure everything is fresh. The tomato sauce is nice and thick. The cabbage taste crispy fresh. The restaurant itself is nice inside with lots of seating availability. This is the type a spot I recommend you try.“
“It's a really good place for delicious, authentic Hispanic food. I don't know if they speak English, so brush up on your Spanish, it's worth it. I posted the menu and buffet options
Also, if you are 38+ weeks pregnant get their pineapple juice. I don't know if it's processed, but it has pineapple pulp in it. I was 40+ weeks and tried everything to get my water to break naturally, but this "myth" did the trick. Thank you, El Buen Sabor...“

“We were a group of 5: 2 seniors, 2 adults and 1 child. The atmosphere is great, the food is delicious and the service excellent. We have eaten Ethiopian food many times and Nuria would not leave you disappointed. We had a wonderful experience. The kid said:” I could eat this kind of food every day”. This says it all.“

“Had a 10 hour layover so stopped off here for a late breakfast. I’m glad we did - we only had $20 between us but we split a breakfast meal and a couple of extra papusas. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and filling. I was especially impressed by how well you could eat as a vegetarian here.
We both left feeling satisfied despite only sharing a plate. It’s a shame the place was cash only and we were low only dollars as I really wanted to try their horchata and some of the refrescos in the fridge.
The place is small with only 3 tables but we managed to secure a place and the guy working there was friendly and prompt.
Will definitely try to check this place out again if I’m coming through Jamaica.
Vegetarian options: Beans, papusas, cheese, soup, plátano, frijoles, eggs“

“Update as of 4/01/2022The food is still bussin bussin. Everything is made to order. It's fresh delicious and above all, seasoned. This is a nice hidden little gem. The food here was amazing. The Popusas here taste great and actually have flavor. Didn't expect much from the skirt steak (churrasco) but it was excellent. Seasoned and cooked perfectly, it was very juicy and tasty overall. The atmosphere is ok, dark little place with not too many windows, staying in is definitely an option but taking the food to go is great as well.“
