“Pupusas here are delicious! I’ve been coming here for the last 4 years and it gets better and better. At first it was a hole in the wall for authentic pupusas, but now they have more delicious options - from breakfast to tortas to burritos + tacos its good all around. No frills, consistent spot. If you’re wondering the fav is the revuelta pupusa, 100% recommend overall. Come and enjoy!“

“Great Latin food! While the owners are Salvadorans, the menu gives a good representation of how tasty Latin food in general really is. The staff is always helpful, there is usually a table available for everyone and the place closes late. Just a great old school Latin restaurant. My wife and I love Bahia!“

“Ordered pupusas (4, cheese and chicharrón) for lunch around 2pm; they came quickly. They were good, a little thin but good flavor and came with the red sauce and cabbage. I will definitely order again.

“What an unexpected amazing experience!
The wife and I were in the area for business. We randomly popped in and ordered the popusas, tacos de camarones y burrito de res.
Portions are very large and the taste was delicious! We live on Long Island but we will definitely take a trip there very soon. Our daughters love popusas and this would be their favorite place“

“Good Salvadoran flavor, their typical dishes really taste like our land. The pupusas here are delicious and well done!
I think that the atmosphere and appearance of the place needs to be improved as it seems a little run down in appearance. The place could use a makeover to elevate its category, but I must emphasize that the food is definitely very good.“

“I have had a CANGREJOFONGO. It is mashed fried green plantain with crab meat. It tasted very well. No other place nearby makes this. It is prepared from scratch. It may take a while. The taste is worth the wait.I have had 3 pupusas with cheese and loroco. The tomatoe sauce has a great taste. The curtido also tastes good.I have also had a beef soup. This is so well cooked. The meat fell off the bone. They offered green hot sauce but it was not needed.I will continue coming here. They also do deliveries.“
“It's a really good place for delicious, authentic Hispanic food. I don't know if they speak English, so brush up on your Spanish, it's worth it. I posted the menu and buffet options
Also, if you are 38+ weeks pregnant get their pineapple juice. I don't know if it's processed, but it has pineapple pulp in it. I was 40+ weeks and tried everything to get my water to break naturally, but this "myth" did the trick. Thank you, El Buen Sabor...“

“I've been to a lot of Salvadoran Restaurants and El Vicentino is my favorite. The Carne asada was juicy and flavorful, the natural drinks were authentic, service was amazing, ambiance was clean and colorful. family friendly environment....I could go on and on... but it's better you just try it yourself to see what I'm talking about 👍 🇸🇻 🇺🇸“

“The pupusas were delicious… and even better with the curtido and sauce on top. Honestly, the best $10 I spent for lunch (for 2 pupusas and 1 can drink).Additional info: street and residential parking, and accessible restrooms are available in the back.“

“This cool place makes me feel I’m in El Salvador. The music they play overhead, the strong ac as it’s hot and humid outside, the ambience inside, the wide mirror, green color walls, clean wooden benches lining the walls, and their authentic delicious puspusa is excellent. My husband and I just love this place. The guy who served our meal is sensitive or understands that we needed 2 spoons for the soup. Overall, I recommend to try this place and I give 5 stars for making me so welcome and cool and rested. The price is also reasonable.“

“We just arrived in town and looking for a good place to eat. We found Las Perlas a couple of blocks from where we were staying. Very happy we decided to try. Service was great and food was just as good. Will definitely be back when in the area.“

“Had a 10 hour layover so stopped off here for a late breakfast. I’m glad we did - we only had $20 between us but we split a breakfast meal and a couple of extra papusas. The food was delicious, tasted fresh and filling. I was especially impressed by how well you could eat as a vegetarian here.
We both left feeling satisfied despite only sharing a plate. It’s a shame the place was cash only and we were low only dollars as I really wanted to try their horchata and some of the refrescos in the fridge.
The place is small with only 3 tables but we managed to secure a place and the guy working there was friendly and prompt.
Will definitely try to check this place out again if I’m coming through Jamaica.
Vegetarian options: Beans, papusas, cheese, soup, plátano, frijoles, eggs“

“Small hole in the wall vibe but don't sleep on the food. Breakfast special is a great price and the bacon is spot on, pancake is great, eggs are eggs, and the home fries are killer. Friendly staff, even joked around with the cook about how good the pancakes were and he said it's because he makes them with love. Ate here a few days in a row with a friend and for a stomach full of good food the bill was never over $26 combined. Great find.

“Update as of 4/01/2022The food is still bussin bussin. Everything is made to order. It's fresh delicious and above all, seasoned. This is a nice hidden little gem. The food here was amazing. The Popusas here taste great and actually have flavor. Didn't expect much from the skirt steak (churrasco) but it was excellent. Seasoned and cooked perfectly, it was very juicy and tasty overall. The atmosphere is ok, dark little place with not too many windows, staying in is definitely an option but taking the food to go is great as well.“

“As a Miami girl who knows her Latin food, are the BEST PUPUSAS I've had in new york. They're sold in orders of 3 or more & I recommend the mixtas w/ pork, beans, & cheese. It's definitely very hole-in-the
-wall and casual and everyone speaks only Spanish but everyone is also so sweet and they remind me of my tias and tíos. I hope they expand their menu!!“

“This is our go-to takeout spot for Central American food uptown! Not only is the food always amazing but the prices are more reasonable than many of the other options. We love the pupusas and the tacos!!! And they are so sweet to always accommodate us if we want certain ingredients omitted. Amazing food and service.“

“A Salvadoran food place... very clean and the food is very delicious. Fried yucca with chicharrones I recommend it 100%. Pupusas... the sea and land tray my favorite. The food is delicious. It is a place where you can enjoy with family and children and there is a secluded place where they can play pool, super cool for men and they also have a bar. In case you go alone or alone. Nice very nice place
Parking: On the day of an event it is difficult to find but there is parking on the side and in front of the restaurant
Kid-friendliness: If children can go to eat. Sometimes I have taken my 2 children, ages 5 and 8. Obio we eat and we leave. Because then they get bored and want to run and I don't like to bother others who come to eat either.“
