“If you're looking for authentic, this is it! Consistently delicious. My favorite meat choices are Carnitas and Chicken but they are ALL very flavorful and prepared perfectly, with the minimal accompaniments you would want and expect. They will add or leave off any thing, to your specifications. I can only speak about the tacos but everything I see coming out of the kitchen looks equily awesome!“

“Came here at 8 pm on a Sunday, normally I get nervous going somewhere late because it’s about to close but the staff was amazing, waitress great and attentive, food and drinks came out fast and was soooo good. Excited for my leftovers!! If I lived near here I’d come all the time. Definitely recommend.“

“Rich Mexican flavor, just a small detail, the night shift employees are uneducated and when you call to request a delivery they leave you waiting on the phone and when they make a mistake and you call them to report it, they just hang up on you“

“I stopped in just for the tacos — and that’s all you really need to know. The al pastor taco is the star of the show: perfectly seasoned pork shaved right off the trompo, topped with pineapple, fresh onions, and cilantro, all wrapped in a handmade nixtamal tortilla that holds everything together like it was meant to.
It’s not the cheapest taco in NYC (around $5.75 each), but the quality backs up the price. The meat was juicy, not greasy, and the sweetness from the pineapple balanced the richness of the pork. Flavor-wise, it’s easily a 9 out of 10.
Didn’t try the burritos or other menu items, but the taco game here is strong. If you’re into real-deal tacos that remind you of a Mexico City street cart, this is worth the trip.
Would definitely go back — especially to try a few more while they’re hot off the trompo.“
