“I haven’t come here yet but I pass by here multiple times after church. Now after places like Taco Palace, New Magic Chef, Taco Han, and Taco Fun all closed in Bayside one by one within past decade or so, I’m definitely considering on coming here next as an official replacement and successor to those places.“

“Our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in NYC closed about 9 months ago. Since then, we have been searching for a replacement with no success. Last night we found a great one, Javelina. The chips were very crisp, and the salsa was spicy and delicious. My skinny margarita(s) were full of flavor and not too sweet. The guacamole was excellent. Nachos were way better than you normally find. Chicken and beef tacos were both great. Even the rice and beans were far above average. The only minor issue was that the tables are small and a bit cramped. But the very reasonable price offset the minor seating discomfort. The room was crowded and a little noisy, but totally to be expected on a Saturday night when the food is excellent and the price is low. We will definitely go back to Javelina, but probably not on Saturday night, A total Tex-Mex find!“

“Called by today to get a drink and a bite to eat. The welcome was warm and the drinks cold and refreshing! We weren’t going to order any food to begin with but the menu looked lovely and didn’t disappoint.“

“Was skeptical about this place at first because I didn't want to pay $5 for one fish taco (shame on me) BUT after tasting it... I was hooked! Especially since they use cod and not tilapia like other places do.
The establishment is authentic and the food tastes like it with really reasonable prices and great food. Now fyi the guac and churros aren't the best by themselves. You should order the guac mixed in and the churros.. I don't know what to advise on that one but hey you might like it.. idk
The agua frescas are delicious especially the watermelon when in season.
I can definitely say try them for that quick casual local neighborhood spot that will satisfy your cravings for Mexican food. ❤️“

“I ordered over the phone for pickup .they took the order for sure as I asked for the price so she checked and told me so it was confirmed . When I went to the store they totally denied . They were straight up like No No No, No call no order sorry . So I called back the number to ask for their address and they gave me the stores address . I just didn’t feel like going back after being denied on my face .“
