Probably best known for its soccer showing which draws in weekend crowds, you might be surprised to learn it also opens at 9am, apparently to cater to night shift workers like those at the firehouse across the street. Because of that, I can never quite tell if O'Hanlon's is weathering bumpy times (it isn't always the cleanest and sometimes is low on stock) or if that's simply the reality of being open nearly 24-hours a day. Either way, that weirdness and its rougher edges do lend it an odd kind of charm that's hard to replicate, which is made all the more charming by great staff who are often more than happy to chat when it's not crazy busy.Edit: In response to the reply from the owners, for me it'd be 5 stars probably if there was a bit more stock of bottles on the back bar. For bourbon for example, these days I don't see much besides Maker's but I remember there used to be a bit more variety? But if the strategy is to keep a simpler inventory, that's totally fair!
