“SoupySoup is the first place my family goes when we come to the area to stock up on lunches for the week. The Classic Beef Chili is think and delicious. My son loves the Carrot Apple Soup and my other kid and my wife love the Rosemary Lentil Stew - both as think and delicious as the Chili (but both vegetarian). As if it were possible to make a perfect soup even more perfect, be sure to pair with his Dinner Crispy-Roll - perfect toasted with a little butter and then dipped in the soup. But wait - if the homemade garlic butter is available do NOT pass that up, making a perfectly perfect soup even more perfect. And yeah, pick up a pint of ice cream to bring home while you're there.”

“We where down visiting an attraction and went to Ciao Bella by mistake and it one of the best mistakes of our lives. We unfortunately where going to have to leave as my fussy boys couldn't find anything they would eat on the menu and the server was so accommodating with suggests to help us out. The 4 of us ended up ordering the chicken parm which the server had mentioned. He gave us all a small house salad so we could try how good it was, and was it. Salad so fresh and enjoyable then came the parm and it is by far the best chicken parm I've ever had. My middle child said man it may be worth the drive back down here again (1 1/2 hr) drive. Oh it sure would be can't wait to return.”

The atmosphere was very romantic, the center pieces were lovely and I really appreciated the Customer Service. They also gave us a complimentary dessert after we told them it was our anniversary. “We go here often, mainly for the gyros. We’ve tried other things on the menu like lamb, burgers, and paninis. We love to get their ekmek and Neapolitan for desserts. They do have little chachkas for decoration that need a bit of dusting.”

“I wish i had remembered to take pictures before eating, but here they are. We are not from the area but saw the Google reviews, and we all were satisfied. The fish was not greasy, and the batter was delicious. The mac n cheese, green beans, and greens were tasty. My daughter enjoyed her Buffalo fried wings. My husband also enjoyed his fried shrimp. I have no complaints and would definitely recommend it.”

“This restaurant exceeded our expectations. Not only did we get amazing service but the food was impeccable. They even make their own pasta and the bread they give you freshly baked with a nice crust! If you go ask for Brie! She was such a delight to talk to and she provided us with top notch service. She treated us like we have been going there for years! We definitely recommend this restaurant if you are ever in the area.”

“Waitress was excellent. Her suggestions were spot on. The brisket fries are enough for 2, and you need to get the single Patti burger if your getting more food. You might finish it, no promises. Those fries are serious and good. Beer selection was pretty good, and everything is very clean. Very comfortable setting. Tvs in the bar area and a back room that's a bit quieter. Great for small groups. I'll be back when passing through next time.”

“Benji and Jake's is amazing!!!!! From the second you even see the exterior you get such a warm, charming feeling. Upon entering everyone is so friendly and greets you with a smile. It's decorated so well with so many cute touches. There's an upstairs and downstairs, both flows so well and extremely thought out. From the crowd it Seems really popular too (I can understand why). Upstairs has a bar, tables and an incredible outside deck area overlooking the water. The back even has a sandbox. Now, for the food part. The menu had some pretty phenomenal choices. My table ordered chicken, the onion soup, salads and lots of other sides. Everyone was making those food noises that you only hear when they're loving their food. Lol. Nobody looked up from their plates because they were loving loving loving what they got. The owner kept coming over making sure everyone was happy and satisfied. Like where do you get that kind of service these days. Nowhere. But there. It's such a great dinning experience. I highly highly highly recommend!!!! Oh and the onion soup is VEGETARIAN !!!!! It's incredible. Go try it. You'll be thanking me. The whole experience is sooooo wonderful!!! A+++++++*****pic is of midway eaten food so it looked a billion times better before. Cheese is off soup etc. It looked so good Nobody could wait to get started for a pic. Lol*******”

Both were phenomenal. They have a small but very nice menu offering foods that aren't very common around Monticello and they do a great job of it.Nothing was overcooked, even the broccoli still had a nice crunch and everything tasted great.”

“I'm so glad I stopped in to Rugalech Heimishe Bakery on my visit in Monticello. All of the pastries looked so good, if only I could have bought one of everything! They have containers for you to fill with whatever you want. There are also some fresh looking coffee for purchase too. I ended up getting a big black and white cookie and different flavors of rugalech. Everything tasted delicious!”
“All of the proceeds from what you buy in the cafe go toward the Kadampa fund that helps build more Kadampa centers and temples worldwide. They've always got fresh espresso from their espresso machine, and serve Americanos and lattes and more. They also have a variety of caffeinated or non caffeinated teas, or you can just get a cold drink from the drink fridge. On Sundays, after Prayers for World Peace, they typically have scones, muffins, cookies, and the like. During busy festivals, they typically also have a variety of cake or pie slices, including my favorite pistachio ricotta cheesecake or their homemade carrot cake. It's open to the public during any public event day, or is home to many Kadampa practitioners relaxing and conversing when not in a class/session.”

“When I tell you it should be illegal for food to be this good. I’m still in disbelief. The smell alone is amazing but I got some baked goods that knocked any other bakery out of the woods but, the grilled chicken and pesto panini. Chefs kiss. I’ll never go anywhere else.”

“My partner and I live in NYC and have land in Bethel. Forage Pizza is our go-to restaurant in the area. You’d be hard pressed to find brick oven pizza this good even in the city. We eat here every time we’re nearby and sometimes even on our way to or from other areas. If you want beer or wine to go with your pizza there’s a great store just across the street that has a really nice selection of local offerings. Enjoy!”
