“driving through the area, I googled “coffee shops near me” and this one came up with the best reviews. We pulled into the driveway, walked in and were greeted with the best attitude and atmosphere. I ordered an iced chai with oat milk and a caprese sandwich with chicken, as a barista and cafe worker myself this is one of the best places I have ever been. I am so happy to have stopped and happy to now know about this spot as it will be a regular stopping place when in the area. I highly recommend.”

“I had the most magical long weekend in Sharon Springs with my girlfriends. We stayed at The American hotel and would recommend to anyone visiting this quaint town. The hotel is charming and cozy and the restaurant and bar are an added bonus. We had their breakfast every morning—absolutely wonderful. We also dined there for 2 dinners. Coming from the DMV I can assure you the crab cakes are authentic and delicious. The standout dish though is the mushroom ragout (pictured). Well developed flavors that just melt in your mouth. The lounge area around the fire stove is warm and welcoming—we spent a lot of our time there mingling with other guests. Last but not least, the staff is incredible. Mike, Marco, Linda, and Chris are so hospitable and truly made the stay fabulous. Looking forward to our next visit!”

“As a former Resident of Sharon Springs, I had been to Stone House Farm about 15 years ago for one of their delicious Pancake Breakfasts. We now live in Southwest Florida, but visit family annually in the area. I wanted to bring back some NY Maple Syrup, and Farm Raised Local Beef. I was not disappointed in either from the Stone House Farm. Top Quality products! I love that they offer the 3 varieties of Maple Syrup. Don't ever let anyone tell you that there's no difference in Local Farm Raised Meats. My only issue is next year I need a big truck, and better coolers to get it all home. 😆 The Owners are very friendly, and accommodating. Thanks again!”

“This was the best meal, service, atmosphere and drinks we have had in years. The portions were huge... we had the meatloaf and whipped potatoes with a side of perfectly cooked summer squash and veggies along with the white shrimp in pasta with a salmon white sauce. Both entrees were served with fresh garden salads and home made breads. The dessert we tried was the lemoncello mascpanoe blueberry cake. Delicious. The restaurant was decked out with gorgeous Christmas decorations.”

The food was delicious—good white bread on the sandwich and a well-grilled patty on the hamburger—and the macaroni salad was deliciously different from the usual deli stuff. It arrived quickly, too! The price was right, and it’s in the heart of town, just a hop from I-90, but away from the noise of traffic. Definitely the place to stop, when you’re passing through. And T here’s Guinness on tap, if you’re not just passing through!”

“I have ordered frozen coffees and I swear they are the absolute best!!! I literally can’t get passed the flavor. But it has to be a regular with no added flavor. And I always do an extra cream. And I honestly wish I knew who makes them. I’d give them a shout out due to the fact I am picky and every time I have ordered I have no had ANY ISSUES. “From the parking lot, it looks like this Subway is closed because it is behind a vacant store front. However, once you get inside, it quite spacious. The food is like any other Subway, so nothing amazing -- but pretty good. Everything we had was fresh and well prepared, and the quality of the service was good.”
