“My mom put me on to this place. It's in the neighborhood. Today I brought bae for a breakfast sandwhich even though it was already afternoon. Hey, breakfast is ok anytime of the day. I like this neighborhood spot. Definately a good place for a bacon egg and cheese, salt pepper and ketchup on a roll. Bae got an egg and cheese butter and mayo. As she likes itI like when bae orders what she wants. They got everything here. Get some pastries too. To go too. Liek theybsat "Anything else?" "Algo mass?"They have a big selection of Latin origin food and treats. Head over there for some empanadas. Lotz of variety all fresh“

“Their turmeric bun is insanely good. Was lucky enough to catch it right as it was fresh out of the oven and waiting to be glazed. Almost doubled back for another one it was so good (self restraint won).Delicate, flaky, caramelized crust. Fluffy, light, moist pull-apart center. I usually find glazed pastries too sweet, but this one was perfect - just sweet enough to hit the spot but not too sweet that it feels heavy. The balance of flavors is just right. Just a hint of turmeric that isn't at all overpowering.“

“Wow! This is a little hidden gem. This is probably the best coffee I've ever had in NYC. Doesn't taste burnt at all like most other places and it has a nutty aftertaste. Really delicious - doesn't even need syrup flavors. The chocolate chip cookie is divine and tastes homemade! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this little hole in the wall. It's tiny inside but there are a few tables / stool seats by the window. It's a great spot to bring a book and people watch. They have a bunch of other pastries that look delicious as well and I'm excited to try them all! This spot is just steps from the L train at Grand St. Don't miss it! “Mom and I visited Guria for the first time on a Saturday, late afternoon. The young man at the counter assured us he would answer any questions. We sat down in this bright, clean cafe and had some delicious Borscht, which Mom described as "tangy". There was a lady in the kitchen kneading dough and bringing out freshly baked Georgian breads. We had wonderful mushroom bread fresh from the oven! Mom had a large cup of foaming coffee which looked and smelled terrific, and we shared a piece of Georgian baklava which, unlike Greek baklava, has thick layers of pastry and is filled with walnuts and raisins--loved it! I will absolutely return to try Guria's "batons" of shoti (amazingly chewy Georgian bread) and the Lobiani (Georgian red bean bread). Dumplings can be ordered in advance. There were several varieties of soup and breads available for take-out. Thanks to the baklava, I was able to resist the tempting chocolate chip cookies displayed under a glass dome. I tremendously appreciated the patience and kindness of the young man who answered my questions and served us with a smile. I am so impressed with the hard-working lady, tirelessly baking in the kitchen. Thanks, Guria, for a lovely lunch!“

“This is some of the best food of any kind l've had in my 45 years living in NYC. Honestly, it's amazing, chef Jose is delightful and his dishes are so nuanced and delicious. Octopus tostados are heavenly, I have no idea what all it consist of but they are delicious. There are three, I can't eat more than two but the last is always enjoyed by someone else at the table. Burrito are a staple for my lunch/dinner... so fresh and comforting. AND I'm not really a fan of most Mexican food but this is on a whole other level. I just finished a salad of shrimp, avocado, mango, cherry tomato, with paper thin fennel shredded on top. The shrimp are cooked to perfection, not rubbery at all but ever so slightly firm and succulent. “We were in Queens and asked a friend who lived in area for dinner recommendations. We are super happy he did. This place is great. All 4 of us loved our dishes and service. The place was packed but they keep it moving and everyone looks quite happy with their food. Some of the best pasta we’ve had in a long time. The mushroom pasta I had was on long thick cuts of homemade pasta cooked perfectly and the mushoom mixture was excellent and I really appreciated it cooked in white wine sauce instead of heavy cream you usually get. My wife ordered something not on the menu for her and my daughter. Home made spaghetti with vodka sauce and grilled shrimp and waiter offered meatballs and spaghetti for my daughter. They loved it. My son had the lasagna and finished every morsel. I don’t leave too many reviews but this place deserves it 100%. Thank you.“

The couches were comfy( not sure how often they are cleaned but they didn't smell). The tables by the wall had outlets. The front of the place is more brighter while back felt more speakeasy.I got the detox juice. It tasted like a typical green juiceOn a week night, street parking was easier in comparison to the other parts of Brooklyn. I was able to park right in front.“

“My bias bakery in the area now! So glad I found them!♥️♥️♥️ I tried lot of items. My favorite bread was the ?injeolmi cream bun! Which was red bean paste with soybean-flavored cream. Moist and creamy in each bite.Croissant items were good too, but couldn’t beat my first above. Salt butter ones were good choices.Pretzel was a little bit too soft for me, but the fig and nuts cream cheese was delicious.Last but not the least, ? bingsu was amazing..! It was a little bit pricy, but a huge bowl! The milk shaved ice was sooo rich. The only thing I would critique is coffee. Good coffee bean but the cappuccino was not creamy at all. Hopefully they can improve drinks!Parking: 4 in front of the store“

“Look y'all, there's really no getting around this Sips can do almost everything your other favorite breakfast/coffee spot can do but better and at a lower price point. Many of the breakfast sandwiches are under $10 which today is kinda wild. At that price point there was no lack of portion or flavor, in fact I was still full on into the evening. The only and I mean ONLY critique I could find was merely an excess of cream cheese on the lox sandwich but tbh I never bring that up on reviews cause on that point to each is own just be sure to ask for less if that's not your thing. This is a 5 star spot its undeniable.“

“Been meaning to leave a review for a while. The best coffee shop. The drinks are consistently solid, my go to is the matcha latte - they do it right. The owner is the nicest person on earth, and the staff is always so friendly and chill. Always feel so relaxed and cool here. Great place to get some work done, catch up on reading, or just hang out and do nothing. They have great community events too.“
