“This is one of my go-to spots in Crown Heights. Everyone who works here is really nice and the food is amazing. My faves are the pancakes (they come with dulce de leche butter!) and the crispy eggplant sandwich. Great coffee and I also love the horchata. Highly recommended“

Their coffee and pastries are my favorites in the area, and it's a great space to hang out or work.

All the staff is super friendly and the owners are just the best.

My favorite thing about Miss Barbs is how integrated they are with the community. They run events all the time, and they're all super fun, like the spelling bee or the trash pick-up days or the little markets.

They've also got great vibes at night and it's an awesome place to get a glass of wine or two. Karaoke is my favorite thing ever and sometimes they've got a karaoke night. You can check their insta for the calendar of events.

The food was great, I got the Time Immemorial and my wife got the Ya Sista, both were exceptional. Also, there is a nice selection of imported Italian sauces, pastas, oils, etc. Highly recommend!“

“On the hottest, most humid day of the year, I miscalculated how much my toddler and myself could handle getting from point A to point B. We walked in the cafe drenched in sweat, faces flushed, and with a toddler in need of a bathroom. They were so kind and were a true life saver! We ordered some breadsticks to munch on while we hydrated and cooled off. We had never been before, but we’ll be back now because of their hospitality!“

“We are visiting from Miami and stumbled upon this hidden gem. We ordered blueberry pancakes , 2 egg platers and a breakfast sandwich and everything was a 10/10. I got myself a mushroom coffee which was interesting , very good as well. The place is small and homey. The staff was very kind and welcoming. They have a variety of options on the menu & they even have vegan protein powder to make shakes. The hash browns and eggs were delicious and were not greasy at all. Fast service . I'm a matcha enthusiast and I have been to Maiko before but never had their soft serve. This was exactly what I needed to satisfy my sweet tooth! The flavor is sweet enough and the matcha really come through - I can compare the flavor profile to Chigi no shiro by Marukyu Koyamaen.
