“yummy!!!!! the pricing is a bit higher than i’m used to, but this is hands down the best deli sandwiches i’ve had. sosososos yummy and it feels like home.

a nice little seating area and reasonably quick service. the owners are friendly, too. there’s a parking lot!!!! which is really awesome. there’s street and metered parking in the area, too!

ham sandwich:
mine had lettuce, tomato, mayo, and jalapeno for $13. the ham sandwich by itself is $6. i do not think the add ons should cost that much, since other places usually charge $0.5 for each topping, or it comes free. i got it hot and it was very good!

pastrami sandwich:
lettuce, cheese, and tomato, hot! this was also $13 whereas the base sandwich was $7. also very good.

overall, not sure if i’d visit again if i wanted an order of ham sandwich with these add ons, but if im looking for a breakfast special or something barebones, id go here again!!!!“

“After a long awaited trip to the store, it did NOT disappoint! I ordered The Casa, fresh mozzarella and burrata. Life may never be the same and I’ll be making more trips to the Bronx for the best cheese I’ve ever had!“

“I love there chop cheese and really every sanwich but I hate ordering at night because the young guy with curly hair always has the phone on so that no calls go through. It's pretty annoying especially when you see there's no orders at that time. Overall love the business.“

“Forget bout everywhere else. Joe’s is the place to go. Mozzarella is the best - light airy milky and when you ask for unsalted you get unsalted. Only problem is that they run out of items if it’s later in the day. So go early.“

“My wife wanted to have my 50th birthday party catered, she was looking on City Island where we reside but the prices were out of control. I reminded her of Tinos, where we have in the past got 3 foot heroes and antipasto platters. We called and that was all she wrote! Delivery on time and the food was out of this world!! “Catered this weekend - Italian Chicken Cutlet Supreme was awesome. Fresh and delicious. Stuffed cherry peppers were a hit. Salads were amazing but Mediterranean salad was my favorite. Pecan ring with whipped cream was gone in minutes. Thank you Mark (and Milton) for a delicious afternoon remembering my dad with family.“

We had limited time in NYC, so every place we visited had to count, and Sergimmo’s did not disappoint. I had a Caesar salad, while my son had a Pasta al Pomodoro e Basilico. “I just got back from a trip to NYC and my brother-in-law treated us to dinner from The Halal Guys in Midtown and I knew it would be good since it was the only food cart with a block-long line after midnight. In fact I liked it so much I wanted to see if I could get something similar nearby... and I found it! I got the chicken and lamb over rice combo and while it wasn't quite the same it was still very good. The only difference is it didn't come with the pita bread and the white sauce tasted a bit different, but not bad. It also has more veggies so more "crunch" but next time I'm going to ask to leave them off (I just don't like the crunch...). I'm very happy to have a local option at a good price and generous portions. Thank you Sam's.“

“I was working locally and decided to grab lunch from Wheeler Deli after reading the reviews. The deli is smaller and quaint but has a large case of Boars Head meats, salads, and desserts. I ordered an American Hero, sides of macaroni salad, and potato salad, and a piece of the banana bread. They got right to making my order and the wait time was less than 5 minutes. My sandwich was fresh, crisp, and delicious. The salads were creamy and had great flavor. The banana bread was outstanding; dense and sweet and flavorful. The total for food and a drink was less than $25 which was a great value. I’ll be back.“

The shop has been around for more than 50 years and still serves some of the best sandwiches in the city. We ordered the famous “3 The Hard Way” to try all three classics: pastrami, brisket, and corned beef. Each one was stacked high on rye, and the flavors were incredible. The brisket had that perfect smoky edge, and the pastrami was full of spice and tenderness. You can feel the legacy in every bite. It’s casual, local, and full of character. If you want an authentic deli experience in Brooklyn, this is the spot to visit.“
