“Food that I could eat was ok, but the staff really needs to have a book readily available that lists all ingredients in each dish.
Even if they don't show it to customers, it's critical that at least the staff have access to this information to be able to alert customers whether or not their allergen is in a particular food item.“

We ordered some apps and some drinks. I stopped a fellow and asked if he was Dave, the owner. He said he was and chatted a bit. The food arrived and let me tell you the pretzel with beer cheese or whatever it is called screamed for a second order. Trivia was fun although I'd like to see a few less phones out. “We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“

“My mom and I had brunch there and the food was amazing! Huge portion sizes and excellent flavor. Jess our waitress went above and beyond and was so incredibly nice! “What a great find this was today! Great band on the patio, they apparently play every Sunday afternoon. Varied beer selections, something for everyone- we love IPAs and their Saratoga Squeeze was excellent. The food was just as good as the beer here, which was a big plus! “First timer for a family lunch. Everyone loved the Mac & Cheese (with the breadcrumb topping). I had the chicken sandwich and it was a five star meal along with homemade sweet potato chips. My wife had the grilled cheese and tomato soup which she gave three stars. My daughter had the chili and she and I agreed it was the weal link in the experience. Clean place, fast service and the chicken sandwich is why I give this place a solid four stars. Try it for yourself.“

“Food is great and service is great. The only issue I have is your gift card policy between Albany and Saratoga. I’ve had family be told you can use a gift card at either location and I have been told it must be used where it was purchased? My parents bought a gift card at the Albany location for my wife and I. The back of the card had Saratoga on it. Thankfully, we presented the gift card receipt after being told we could only use it in Saratoga when the receipt showed it was purchased in Albany. Thankfully, the server and the manager didn’t give up on the situation and were able to manually enter the card number in despite the magnetic strip on the card not working. Bravo to them! However, the only gift cards you are able to purchase in Albany say Saratoga on the back. So if you have a gift card, you better bring a gift card receipt or you may not be able to use it. I hope you guys look at the policy. My only negative. Other than that sushi is fresh and quick and great service !“

“My sister and I recently reserved the Glens Falls Tap Room for my parents surprise 50th anniversary party. We started planning over a year in advance and corresponded with Anne Barry and Torey. They were both amazing to deal with and made the planning process so seamless! Anne was beyond accommodating to any and all requests that we had. She even went as far as to block my parents from their facebook page so they would not see when Mean Max posted that they would be closed for a private party. Any questions we had were always answered thoroughly and promptly. There was a couple times where we stopped into the taproom and Torey was working. He was amazing in assisting us with any additional questions we had. We had a slide show on a usb cable that they happily projected on their wall in the taproom as well as on one of their tvs. The party went off without a hitch and we would most definitely recommend them to anyone looking to host an event. Our bartender, Christa, was beyond amazing and so friendly with everyone. She was beyond helpful with anything and everything we needed and our guests adored her! Overall we can't express enough how much Mean Max made our event perfect and catered to everything we asked. They are amazing to work with and did everything they could to make our event a success!!! We highly recommend them whether you're looking to reserve for a private party or just go and visit their taproom and have some amazing beers!!!
