“Staff here is so kind, accommodating and patient - the customers on the other hand were impatient, vile humans.I was stopping on my way through to a bachelorette party and They were SLAMMED during my visit.The amount of people complaining out loud to themselves that they "ordered online 10mins ago to avoid a wait" "this is so ridiculous", continually harassing the staff making drinks and touching every drink in the pickup area was wild to witness. (Yeah you lady in the Harley shirt pacing over her PSL glaring down staff over a 10 min wait, ffs)The way the staff handled these karen and kevins with grace was amazing. Cause these people were literally abusive.Do better. Be kinder.“
“Empire Coffee & Donuts is the best. The atmosphere is cozy and homey, and they make it clear that everyone is welcome. A whole shelf of board games?? Yes please! The staff is helpful and kind, and the drinks and pastries are wonderful—they have creative and affordable drinks for coffee drinkers and non-coffee drinkers alike! I love their matcha latte with lavender syrup. As a student, I really appreciate the longer hours and the selection of meal options for long study sessions (highly recommend the breakfast tacos). Empire is such a lovely and unique space, definitely give it a try!“
