“Homey’s Bistro is the place to go to in Glen Head. Across from the LIRR Parking is easy. They serve breakfast, amazing lunch and NOT TO FORGET, the donuts 🍩 and cinnamon rolls, which are massive. Three try one of their amazing iced espresso. They also have beer from a local distributor and started last week. They’re doing wine and crate trays on the evenings of Friday and Saturday. i’ll be going this Friday tomorrow to check that one out. I will give this place five stars friendly. They have their own pastry chef on staff, which makes everything fresh daily. Check it out.“

“Sweet potato fries were excellent!!!! I’d recommend those. Also had the “Fat Boy” burger but without bacon. Very good experience. I would go again. Staff was kind and environment was chill. I recommend this restaurant if you wanna try something different/ new and are into burgers, shakes and beer.“

“Healthy, Delicious, and Made with Care- I’ve made the shift from traditional fast food to healthy, relatively fast food — and this place has made that change not only easy, but enjoyable. The salads are always fresh, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared. Their attention to detail is exceptional.

They take the time to get things right, every time — whether it’s making sure my own salads are chopped just the way I like (finely, but never mushy), or going above and beyond to create a special, unchopped “social” salad for my young grandson, complete with perfectly placed grilled chicken, avocado, and egg on a warm bed of grains.

On top of the great food, the team here is warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Staff members Sim and Swendy consistently show thoughtfulness and care.
And if I’ve forgotten to mention someone by name, please know your kindness and care have not gone unnoticed.

“I took my family to la riserva last week. We had an amazing dinner. My girls loved the pasta fagioli!!! They also enjoyed their meals; pasta with marinara and the chicken parmigiana with green beans. My husband and I equally enjoyed our meals. The service was great. Our waitress was knowledgeable and everything came out in a timely manner. I will definitely recommend la riserva to my friends.“

Every time I go with my wife to visit our son who is at Hofstra despite trying to go to different venues to grab a bite before we head back to Jersey. We always end up at black label because the food is so good, the service is great the people are very friendly and the service is quick. If you’re in Hempstead or Westbury and looking for a good burger, good hotdog in a simple atmosphere black label is my first choice.“

Monroe cocktail was good. Veal chop special (veal valdostano) one of the best I've ever had. Tender veal, excellent sauce and more than a generous portion. Meat sauce was great, my son loved the French dip on garlic bread too.“

“We have been using Garden City Pizza’s catering for our parties for years. The food is always amazing & outstanding service, especially from Greg. He is honest & really cares, as if it is for his own party. He always goes above and beyond to make our parties great and helps me figure out how much food is needed. “Awesome Lebanese food in the heart of West Hempstead. The restaurant is clean and cozy, the atmosphere is relaxing. We ordered kafta, spinach pies, safihas, marinated steak and chicken, and baba ganoush. They were fresh and delicious. This place is a real gem!!“

“This is our FAVORITE place to get Raman! You can’t get any better than this! So delicious, always fresh, the staff is always so friendly and helpful. So many options on the menu, even some great options for Gluten free!! The size of the dishes is so much, we usually end up taking some home, I love it! The kimchi is the best and the crispy chicken bun is so fluffy and the chicken is so crispy! The soup is amazing and it fits perfectly with the toppings. It’s a very quick wait, always less than 10 minutes! Do yourself a favor and try it out!

He told me that my mother had wandered in after having her car bumper come completely loose on Marcus Ave. She had no phone, and was shaken up by the whole ordeal. Joe called me for her, and gave her a cup of hot tea. I went over, picked her up and got her home. Later my wife and I returned to pick up her car. “The food is good but the people who work there cannot follow instructions. I’ve ordered online a few times from here and some items have been missing or instructions were ignored. These were things I paid an additional price for. For instance, today I ordered a Caesar salad and asked for the dressing to be mixed in and for a side of extra dressing. I left and went back to work and when I opened the bag, my salad was not mixed up and the extra dressing I paid $$ for was missing. This is also not the first time it’s happened and normally I wouldn’t complain but it is the principle. I’d recommend checking the bag before you leave if you order pickup!“

“My buddy and I went to dinner at the Grand Stage Diner on 4/10/24 prior to the Islanders game. The diner was clean, the hostess was very nice and friendly and the wait staff was excellent.
