“Just arrived from Florida after driving the last 12 hours. We were extremely hungry and Buddy Boys was the first place we stopped. They were in the process of closing for the evening but let us in! I couldn't thank them enough. They were so accommodating. The salad and pizza were delicious and the owner's lovely. Will go there often during our stay. Oh, by the way, we were on our way to Tosi's. I guess we didn't make it!“

“What a find! Our group was in town for a cross country meet and after reading the great reviews we decided to give Wagon Wheel a try. First, the owner (Pete) is extremely kind, professional and went above and beyond for us. When I went in to place the order it was so nice to learn it was a multi generation business and his father handmade all of the tables and booths. We ordered 10 pizzas and probably should have ordered 20 since it was some of the best we have ever had. Thank You! We look forward to coming back the next time we are in town.“

“I cannot recommend Mel's enough! I purchased the Holiday Catering Special for a work party and the food was amazing! I added a 1/2 tray of eggplant rollatini and also tortellini primavera and this easily fed 30 people (with leftovers!) My co-workers were raving about the food and I easily said it was all from Mel's. This special catering combo is the perfect mix for any party!!! (I will also add I ordered on Monday morning and picked up Tuesday evening! Quick service as well!!!) 👏“

“Cornwall staple of NY style pizza. I used to go here as a kid with my buddies, get a slice and play video games in the back. They took the games out, but it still has the same feel as back then. We enjoyed the white slice and Margherita, garlic knots and calzone. The place is family owned and very friendly/attentive service. They even deliver nationally, my wife has had it delivered to us in Oklahoma multiple times!“

“We love everything about Sal's in Beacon and in Fishkill. The staff are some of the best I've experienced anywhere. They're welcoming and friendly, and they're kind to my kids. They greet everyone with hometown vibes when you walk into the store. It really feels like family! Their pizza is delicious too - we all have our favorites, but I prefer the BBQ chicken (for the sweet/tangy flavor combo) and margarita specialty slices. And of course we can't forget their wraps, sandwiches, etc... So many options from which to choose! Overall a great dining experience.“

“J&F has delicious food. Their meatballs are homemade and legendary. It is a very laid- back, small, and unassuming place on upper Broadway in Newburgh. Almost all of their business is take out- hot and cold sandwiches ( locally made bread), pizza , soup, and pasta dishes all made on site. Started by 2 brothers (John and Frank) , it has remained in the family for over 50 years. Very friendly people and good food. It's our go-to place when we need a quick meal.“

“I can not say enough good things about Mike and Joe's! The staff is friendly and efficient, they learn their customers and always greet you warmly! They are quick, often delivering faster than expected and the food is always great! If something is wrong they are happy and quick about making it right and they treat their customers so well and generously! I order delivery often and recently ordered catering last minute! “I liked the vibes, calm environment and really nice lighting (I love in between bright and dim in restaurants), food came out fast but granted it wasn’t very busy and it was kinda late. The cappuccino was definitely not a cappuccino though it was just a coffee lol, but that’s the only complaint.“

“This is definitely my go to place from now on. Reminds me of the thin and crispy pizza you get in NYC. I called it in the person on the phone was cool even a jokester busting my chops about of this is the first time I’m ordering from them. By the time I got there the pizzas were ready to go still hot. As I was leaving someone else ordered a pie made thin. Telling you that you can’t go wrong here if you line that thinner crispy pizza. I drove home about 10 mins and it was in the box waiting. But as you see in the pic there was no flop.

If I had to nit pick on something. It’s more of a preference I like my sauce thinner. The sauce used had like a texture to it. But flavor was still very good. Ask about the specials on the board if you call because I think I paid a little more ordering what I did when I think I could have got it a little cheaper with a free soda had I ask if there was any specials.“

They are consistent with their recipes. You're always greeted with a smile. It's family-operated and owned, which I'm a huge advocate for. Keep up the great work, guys!“

“Finally getting around to this review- I appreciate Giacomo’s more recent switch to an improved gluten free pizza dough! Do still have to give less than a 5 due to past issues with this location closing prior to what listed open hours were, as well as being unable to get gluten free pizza later in the evening several times when calling in. (I also can only eat this one single item!) But in spite of the slightly high price for the size, the new dough is a nice compromise- much better than the usual flat/cracker like one of the past.“

“Giuseppe and his crew do an absolutely fantastic job at Giacomo's! Giuseppe and Giacomo developed all of the speciality rectangular pizzas when they they first opened and boy are they all great. Me and my family have been ordering from Giacomo's for years and have absolutely no reason to stop. My personal favorite is the buffalo chicken specialty pizza, but that's just me.“

“We needed a place for a special dinner for about 15 people after a funeral. Even though the "fancier" part of the restaurant is generally only open at night, Danny (the owner) opened early for us in the middle of the afternoon. The food was delicious. The service was attentive, but not overbearing. This was important after a funeral because we all wanted to spend time talking and visiting with each other, not just eat and get out. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and antipasto plate for the table. Both were so good we had to get another batch of each. Everyone ordered what they wanted from the menu, so we had a wide range of dishes. Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy what they ordered. Good wine selection, too. They really took care of us. I highly recommend.“

“7 of us popped in on a Thursday evening without a reservation. We were kindly greeted and promptly seated. We each enjoyed our meals and appetizers - delicious food, large portions. I opted for the half portion of Chicken Sandoval. The half portion was plenty and the dish was tasty! A great spot to eat in the Village and even re-connect with with an "old" friend.“
