“I used to live in Toronto. This is literally known as the #1 poutine fast food chain in Canada. It has been around for almost 50 years. I guarantee you it's the best poutine you can get in the US. There are currently only 2 locations in the US. Long Island is lucky to have one.“

“I went there with my bf and he said it was pretty good a year ago when he tried it so we tried it together this year. I didn't know what to expect, but the person at front was very nice! And it only took 15 minutes to cook which was a really reasonable time. When the food came it looked amazing and tastes amazing too! It was super affordable and it's very filling as well!“

“I can’t even believe I’m saying this, but this place has the absolute best fried chicken I’ve had in ages.

For many years we were huge KFC fans. Then… slowly they started going downhill. The chicken became ultra soggy and “blah”. The sides are the sides and towards the end the coleslaw was the only good thing.

We then moved on to Popeyes. Loved it for a while then the same thing. Chicken didn’t hold up well getting it home and it is only about 5-10 minute ride to the house. The sides and choices were good but after a while it just wasn’t cutting it anymore.

Fast forward to last night. My husband has been saying “You guys HAVE to try this place!!!!” To me and my son. So that’s what we did. He came come with some Classic Chicken Sandwiches and an 8 piece of fried chicken with two sides and some biscuits. The chicken sandwiches were huge perfectly fried pieces of white meat chicken on a bun with Mayo and pickles. That’s it. It was amazing and juicy and tender. The fried chicken absolutely made the 15 minute ride home staying CRISPY with not one ounce of condensation. It was flavorful and juicy and just delicious. (Note: the sides were good). The biscuits were soft and delicious as well.

Also need to add that the staff was fantastic. Very friendly and personable. Excellent experience and happy new customer!!!!

Oh yeah and it’s just as flavorful and delicious at room temp or from fridge. I can’t wait to go back!!!!

“Great place. Very chill atmosphere and friendly staff. You get a lot of food for what you pay for and the texture and freshness is on very good. I also think the seasoning is very nice. Some korean fried chicken places have very over powering flavors for me but this is just right that i can eat more of. I also like how non-greasy the fried chicken is.

My favs are the spicy chicken thigh burger, boneless dark meat, the corn dog and the sausage and rice cake skewers.“

“My mom ordered a chicken over over rice from this Shah's halal restaurant today. It was definitely top 5 -- for $9.99 they gave a lot of food. The chicken was cubed and not crushed up into shreds like most of the Shah's Halal food carts, and they gave a good amount of sauce. Also, I like how they use plastic containers instead of the disposable take-out containers. My food was made relatively quickly and it was moderately busy. Also, this store is not too far from me, so that's an added bonus. Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone that wants a quick platter or gyro made fresh and on the spot, and someone who wants a meal that will fill them up. Will I come back here? Yes.“

“I ordered takeout from Chapli and Chips. I ordered the beef chapli and the chicken chapli and it was off the hook. I highly recommend the kicker sauce and the hot sauce. The server answered any questions I had and has a very friendly and approachable demeanor.Coming from the Island background of Jamaica I tried the Curry chicken wrap. It was so good, it didn't need no sauce. The server recommended the Butter chicken, and I came back 2 hours later to try it and he remembered my order. The food is freshly made to order. The wait was long but the good thing about it the food was cooked to order and fresh . Was worth the wait . Only big take away I can think of is parking which is not there fault .“

I’ve ordered from here a few times within the last couple of years, so you could say I’m a loyal customer. Restaurant could use some work from the inside for customers who like to dine in. It doesn’t seem like they give particular attention to the customer experience but it is fast food like Dave’s so that is to be expected. The spice levels are not on par with Sam’s Hot Chicken in Hillside which they are allegedly partners OR share recipes with (I am unsure). I wish the price wouldn’t increase practically every time I order food from here. There needs to be transparency with payment methods and tax, which other customers have brought up. Once I came during lunch time, they refused to apply the lunch time price specials which is a bummer. Please don’t advertise deals you won’t actually enact, it’s extremely disappointing. However, the food is good enough for me to keep coming back. Ordered from here last night and got the single slider but was given a single tender instead.“

I also took the cashier's recommendation to try the extra crispy pita bread, and it was a fantastic choice. “I love their pizzas. They have a brick oven that they make their pizzas in and it really brings out the authenticity of the pizza. Their pizzas are sized just for you to eat. You have a choice of ordering a bigger/“regular” sized pizza that you’d often see at other pizza places but their pizza size makes it so easy for you to just eat that by yourself and go. One recommendation for when you go is definitely the bbq chicken pizza! I love the bbq chicken pizza. I get it all the time but it may be a little too sweet for some as said by others that have tried the pizza but i dont think you can go wrong with bbq chicken pizza even if you do find it a bit sweet.“

“Best chicken sandwhiches and burgers in the neighborhood. Love the sliders with the sauce and the holy burger. Have ordered takeout from here probably twice a month if not more for the last 2 years or so. Service is also great, always quick and kind. Packaged neatly.

The wings are also good and I like the seasoned fries - medium is the perfect portion. My boyfriend loves the double dog and the beef sliders.“
